Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. Girls started to flower about a week ago and so far looks good and healthy to me. I have only 20cm space left above the light so I truly hope the stretch phase is getting to the end :) I feel like every grow I have done so far I thought I switched too early and in the end I worry about the space so my next grow will be experiment 12/12 from seed. I have seen very interesting diaries utilising this method so I can't wait to test it. Not much else to mention, standard 2.5 EC (my starting tap water is 0.4 probably due to chlorine?) ph 6.0 humidity is around 55% and 60% during the night, I will definitely get dehumidifier foe the last month, because mould has been my biggest enemy during my previous grows. temp is getting close to 29 celsius during the day. I just ordered some additional clip fans so it hope fully helps to reduce any possible heat stress. I defoliated quite heavily about a week ago and when I finished and put them back, I was a bit worried if I didn't go too hard on them, however just two days ago it was back to normal. Did little bit of defoliation once again today, got rid of some bottom branches and older fan leaves getting no light at the bottom. Básicamente lo mismo, aunque está semana pilló bastante más horas de luz(tuve que irme fuera de casa dos findes seguidos, en los cuales la dejé con la luz encendida full 24/7 en la caja) Como experiencia utilicé café reposado 48h para "alimentarla" e intentar bajar el Ph de la tierra (coco ph6+hummus ph7+vermiculita ph8= ph total 7) El otro experimento fue cubrir la tierra con coco para que el tallo eche raíces y aprovechar su espigamento! Las horas de luz solía dejarla 8h en bombilla mientras duermo, y el día la pongo en la ventana a que tome el fresco, pero apenas tiene luz directa, me da la sensación que crece más rapido cuando vuelvo del finde, estoy replanteandome tenerla más tiempo en la caja con luz, porque la veo aún pequeña, y quizá ponerle un ventilador de pc o algo🤔..veremos, aún tengo el papel de aluminio al lado de la caja y ni se lo he puesto, con eso os lo digo todo☝️🎃

One more heavy defoliation to close out the end of week 3. shes really starting to bud up now, and the tent gets filled with that sweet, sweet smell. Shes looking healthy and showing speedy progress. Watering stays 6L, around 6PH, 5ml/L Bloom and 1ml/L Green sensation started with the last watering.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. ______________ An interim update: ______________ The pre-bloom has started. The plant is preparing for its last growth spurt. The growth in the last days is therefore substantial. For the time being no real problems. Apart from the additives that I provide, no additional nutrients have been added. A little too much N, because of this there is a little bit of burned leaftips. But hopefully a bit of a push can not hurt too much;) a new update at the end of the week. _________________ End of week 4 update: _________________ The bloom has begun. The growth was very exuberant this week. 25 centimeters larger than at the beginning of the week. There are a lot of shoots with budsites. Have given some flowering nutrients for the first time, albeit a low dose. The problem with the burned leaf tips has also been solved. A little too much of N did not hurt the plant. The grow mix of plagron is perhaps a bit too 'powerful' for young plants. But no real negative consequences, so no problem. I gave the plant also a nice 'shower' today with iron spray. She seems to like it. On to the real first week of flowering

Alright Then We just hit week 2 and all is well , have to admit she tricked me by perhaps topping herself which stunted her I think ,still good Growth in just 14 days😃 ....... End of week 22: Overal it was a good run with the Shamans from @DutchPassion_Official . Didn't had mayor problems besides having to harvest them earlyer. I really wanted to flower them another 2 weeks but the weather/climate didn't allow me to. Still the buds came out decent as you can see for an early harvest. I will cure those buds for some time in my pots before they get smoked and will update how much weight I got out of the two plants. As you can see I made the bigger buds smaller. There is no use for me to keep big buds for showing off. Big buds just have big long stems in it, harder to dry and to fill your cure pots with.

Hey guys! 😀👋 Week 5 is here and my girls are growing fast! But as always, some things happened/did some things this week: - The girl's that's on the front (closer to the camera) is clearly growing faster and for that reason I believe she's going to get into flower before than her sister! - I think the girl on the back might be have some kind of excess or deficit going on? Confusing. No idea what could've be doing it. - I've been tucking leaves pretty much all week. Specially on the girl on the back and some of her leaves are twitching in a very weird way. I want to defoliate a little so the lower buds get more but Iight fear I might end stunning my girls!😨 - I reinforced the LST on my girls, the one that I did was not enough!
