@HumanCompanion, Is for the plastic ring so I can spread the steams, like I did on week 6. I will do some macro this week but the flower only just start forming
I like how you defoliated the lower levels, so that now there are no thin stems shooting upwards from the lowest branches. What shape are you planning to give her? Pyramid, SOG?
@pHilosophy420, I'm sure SCROG would make this grow problematic. Those trellis are for lazy people who cannot find +10 minutes a day to carefully train the plant with wire and cords, and direct every branch outside like tiger tails..
@HumanCompanion, I know what you mean mate, I enjoy spending time with the plants and Im there everyday for 30min at least and some times few 1hr+ training the plants and adjusting the environment ( temps, humidity, light, air quality and air in/out).
@pHilosophy420, and some people just put a controller inside and don't even open their growbox for five days. I would miss my babies. I would not like to spend a lot of time without touching, smelling, and eating them with me eyes.
My heart is screaming for horizontal stretching, it can be stretched +30% . There is still a window of opportunity while she is still quite vegetative and not extremely flowering. The stems placed so close are asking for infections and yellow leaves.
@HumanCompanion, I fully agree with you and I'm doing some more vertical stretch now so you will see the results next week. I know that I could to better training before but I still have last chance for final adjustment to spread the branches, and let's hope for the best.
@pHilosophy420, ooohhh, it will look great after stretching both up and sideways. SO much fun at defoliation :-) The leaves will never stop growing I guess))) I used to have some bushes which grew huge bunches of leaves every day. I loved picking them up, sniffing the growbox while defoliating. I feel like I am in a beautiful tropical forest ))) and this cheers me up because we have winter for 7 months a year ;_( which gets me depressed.
