I caught up on some reading and decided to defoliate before chasing the second half of this flower. I'm pretty confident that after being in the Nature's Living Soil for a few weeks that she is strong enough to handle the defoliation, but hell, whadda I know?? 9.19 - The DumpsterQueen didn't even flinch at the defoliation. Starting week 3 today, with a challenge ahead with this little bad girl! It seems to be a lack of Nitrogen, and I'm pretty afraid of burning the plant. I'm feeding the plant once each two days, with Seaweed Tonic, 150ml with the suggested dilution from the bottle. Now I have also a bottle of Canna Terra Vega, with NPKS 3-0-3-0. Is it a good idea to start feeding the plant, with also this nutrient? The soil is a mixture of 80% organic soil + 20% of coco coir. Could be a lack of nutrients from the soil? What is the best agenda to follow with nutrients? (: Cheers!! UPDATE (17/02 - Day 17): based on the suggestions made by many members, I've tried to gather the best of all and decided to make some moves in an effort to save this plant, and to avoid the same situation to the other 2 plants: #1 - Lifted the LED panel to double of the height, so the distance to the plants went from 50cm to 100cm #2 - This change with the distance from LED panel helped to low down the highest temperature achieved during the day from 27.5°C to 24°C #3 - Since day 15, the plants haven't been watered, in a move to try to dry a little bit the soil, once I was watering every day with something close to 250ml a day. Now I'll return with water in a few days, while I wait for some signals from the plants that they are needing water #4 - Pushed forward the idea to start feeding them this week, and maybe I give just a little bit of seaweed solution to root development when I come back with watering. Hope it works fine!

We are almost at operational capacity .... last week of veg under this massive light for batch 001... included pic of veg tent which is technically batch 001.... Need help sexing the middle plant! it came from bagseed (black ice gelato) and I need to avoid crosspollination. over feeding but I'm glad i'm learning now ahead of next batches.. dialing in things nicely... happy with growth and health of the plants.... just a matter of time.... love the support so far ... please help me with identifying males if you can! :)

Elsa‘s grow and our Community Grow goes to an end. It‘s hard for me to say her goodbye, because we share 100 days together. But a good friend told me… it‘s always a friendship of time. Thx for Zamnesia for Elsa‘s Seed and That i have good and bad times with her. But i learn a lot in this grow and that is the most important thing… See you on harvest day 😉

I’m growing Purple Queen from Royal Queen Seeds, Citradelic Sunset & Zweet Inzanity from Ethos Genetics, and King Kong From Big Buddha Seeds. Germination happened within 24hrs on all but the Zweet Inzanity which took almost 48hrs and I planted the seeds straight into their pots. I’m using Redbud living soil with Cannaseur seed blend (Amazon find) which includes 13 different types of seeds for cover crops. Straw is being used as a top dressing/mulch. I’m growing under two Spectrum King 602GH LED lights. I have a 55gal reservoir with 2 adjustable drip emitters in each pot. I would not consider my living soil as perfect for planting at this point but I was eager to get started. I planted my seeds before fully establishing my cover crops. I have added red wigglers and nematodes. I breakdown some of this process in the video.

This week we only had bad weather and a lot of rain. But according to the weather forecast, it should get better again in the next few days. ☀️☀️☀️

Eccoci qui... Questa è una bestia!!! Con le fredde temperature che ha sostenuto, si vede chiaramente il foxtails... Ho ridato i nutrienti per far ripartire i nuovi germogli e continuare l'allungamento. Ha un odore davvero molto intenso non vedo l'ora di assaggiare i frutti del cultivo, e mi sento grato per aver tentato quest'avventura così presto!! Mancano 1/2 settimane e poi si raccoglie!!
