I am dropping a Grand Daddy Purple auto. I scuffed both seeds ends. I dropped it in water. It will stay there for 24 to 48 hours until a tap root shows. I will then drop it in coco, and dome till it sprouts. Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. Decided to finally finish this diary so that on New Year eve I'm not opening the year with unfinished business. Now we cut the second Tropicanna XL auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 2.6 kilo wet, this one finished at 2.1kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late and grew and grew :) I enjoyed growing this strain immensely, smells so sweet and fruity, she has the most intense and most delicious aroma ever She brunches off like crazy, gave me a ton of big and dense bud. Day 85 from seed and unfortunately for the plant looks like the lack of light really handicapped how much bud she could really develop I will try to raise her up today or tomorrow in order to attempt more light to penetrate to her but the damage is done already even though the smell and the looks of them are amazing I'm not going to get big flowers like I was hoping for nevertheless she smells and looks very very nice. Been told this is a lovely strain to grow so looking forward to seeing how she does. Fell over after a few days and needed help to stand up but other than that and some minor calmag defiency which is probably already corrected for, she's doing fine and catching up to the others in the tent fast. Hope you all enjoy my first attempt at a 1 week timelapse. I'll intend to record the whole grow this way so follow along for updates and please let me know any tips/tricks any of you may have for recording / editing. All going according to the plan, some plants gained a lot of weight during this week, other just packed some resin. Gave their last feed today, with 42 days of flower. Water with seaweed extract, molasses and micorrize. Gonna harvest the smallest plant with 50 days cause i'm running out of smokable weed ;/ Mother number 1 is looking great, smells like strawberry with a really fresh, almost cold, smell. hoping this profile reflects on the joint. Mother number 2 is the smallest of the mothers but smells the best, citrus with sweet, the closest to terp profile im looking for. Mother number 3 is fat and smells like strawberry with something more cheesy on the background. GDP is amazing! its packing a lot of resin, smelling great and producing heavy buds, think its gonna be the biggest yielder of the bunch. Next week im gonna take some small branches to taste whats coming and decide who is gonna go to revegging after the harvest to become a mother.
