-27.06.2024 The first week of the vegetative phase begins today. The little plants look quite good. The light is still 100 cm above the plants and is running at 30% (5% more than last week). The values measured with the Photone app are ppfd = 240-270 and DLi = 15.5 - 17.5. The temperature is 22.9 degrees and the humidity is 65%. -28.06.2024 The plants were watered properly for the first time today. About 500ml per plant. A little bit of mycorrhiza was added to the water.. -29.06.2024 Visual inspection, everything looks good. I put sticks in the soil as a precaution to give the plants some support. -30.06.2024 Today the soil felt quite dry so the plants got about 200ml of water (per plant). I also increased the light intensity slightly. Measured values with the Photone app: Ppfd = 300-320 DLi = 22.5-23.6 . -01.07.2024 Just a visual check, everything looks good so far -02.07.2024 visual check, the soil was dry again so each plant got 200ml of water. The distance to the lamp was reduced by 20cm and it now hangs 80cm above the plants. Measured values with the Photone app: PPfd = 360-370 DLi = 25.8-27 -03.07.2024 The last day of the first week in the vegetative phase. The soil was dry so each plant got 200ml of water.

All 4 are growing very well. I noticed some light stress on 2 and 3, so I dimmed the lights.

Week 1

Our sweet lady survived a week of raind and intense wind, the golden rope you see was helping the buds to stay still and to help save branches from breaking. The lady is super sugary and sticky right now, but the buds seem like they are not gonna thicken more than that. This plant has been stressed multiple times during her lifetime, from broken branches to light overdose, she has been kept away from direct sunlight since than, so this is the cause we attribute to this slower growth. Our biggest doubt is about harvest time. The buds do not seem big at all, but they look very orange and the breed's harvest is said to be in mid October, so we should start flushing! While I think we should wait untill the last week of the month, F. says i's almost time for drying. 😵😲 Looking at some pics of last year's harvest I am afraid this lady is not going to produce as much as we tought, maybe because this is our first experience with so many nutrients. Hope someone can help about harvest and buds overall look 😬😬

This week this little lady has done some growing! She's getting smelly and hopefully going to have one last stretch before flower kicks in, hopefully next 2 weeks and she will show signs, happy with production so far, she looks nice and healthy 😊, happy growing and stay green 💚💚✌️

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today the tap root on one of the seeds was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...calling the #2 a 'fail to germinate' and I'm not going to soak another... We'll let it ride with just one of this tester. 😉👍 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2201! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 4g Gronest fabric pot from FastBuds. 12/7- Yesterday I checked her, she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Where flower? lol. Seriously though, I've been on a flowering light cycle for a week already now with zero signs of flower. I suppose it is quite similar to their mother, which also took quite some time to kick into flower while the days were shortening. Either way, we're luckily not in a situation of needing flower nor lacking space in the tent, so we can keep on keepin' on. Normally I would start to incorporate a low dose of bloom booster starting this week, however due to the lack of any flower formation whatsoever I'm going to hold off until next week. Updates as per usual, timelapse is out, Happy Growing all! -10/2- Finally noticing some bud formation starting, very minimal but noticeable. About goddamn time, 3 weeks under 12/12 and all.

First full week of flowering and they are finally on

Day 47 has been a rough week seven days of 32c + outdoors and same in the tent. I did order some Orius 100 to sort out my bug problem , but they have been delayed due to the heat. Coming along well . The two on the right of the tent are the Tangie Monkey and the left is two Bananangie.
