Day 0 - Germinated on 1 May 2019 and got a half inch taproot on 3 May 2019 and placed in jiffy pellet and humidity dome. Just waiting to show her face. Day 0.5 - Calling today .5 cause she’s out of the soil but don’t count day 1 until she opens up. Still in the humidity dome and waiting for her to open up. Day 1 - Starting week one and she’s above soil and she’s opened up and put into her final 3 gallon pot. Gave her a light spray of pH’d water and put her in the tent. Day 2 - She looks good overall but did accidentally over water her a little bit so gonna let her dry out and hopefully she recovers! Day 3 - Looks like she’s recovering from the overwatering. She doesn’t seem to be as droopy anymore so I really need to focus and pay more attention during watering. Will continue to just spritz her with a spray bottle for awhile, at least until she can handle a more steady stream. Day 4 - Looks like she’s pretty much recovered from the overwatering and no longer droopy. Will give her a little water tomorrow and gonna stay on top of using a spray bottle until she can handle more. Day 5 - Recovered we’ll from the overwatering and is looking healthy again. Will be starting the foxfarm feeding schedule at the beginning of week 2. Day 6 - Looks good and healthy! She’s really starting to grow now and look forward to this grow out of the other 3 I’ve got going right now. Day 7 - Ending week 1 with a bang! She’s really starting to grow and things look great after overwatering early on. Will start feeding schedule tomorrow and gonna keep an eye on any signs of nutrients burns. Gonna go light to start so should be ok!

Day 8 - Started a light feeding today but only made a half gallon of water. Used 15ML of Grow Big and 5ML of Big Bloom. Will keep an eye on her for any signs of nute burns. Haven’t had any issues in the past but haven’t started this early before so will keep an extra close eye, just in case. Something also seems a little off. She seems a little small for day 8, compared to the others I’m growing but I know each strain is different so I’ll see what she does in the end. Day 9 - So far there’s been no negative reactions to the feeding and she’s growing well. Day 10 - Looking good so far and will give her time before starting some LST due to what my Zkittlez is looking like but we’ll see. Day 12 - Gave her a feeding of nutes today and looking good for the most part. She’s a little droopy but pot was kinda dry so hopefully some water and food perks her up a bit. Day 14 - End of week 2 and she’s looking pretty good. Added a second fan in the tent to help a little with airflow. Will be starting week 3 feeding schedule tomorrow.

Day 15 - Starting our week 3 and things are looking good and healthy. She still seems a bit droopy but not too much to be concerned about right now. Only seems to be right after watering but she perks back up. Gave her the first week 3 feeding today and so far I haven’t noticed any issues with nutes. Day 16 - Looks like she’s really starting to grow each day now. Will probably start some LST soon, just want her to get a little taller. Not quite dried out so will feed her some water in another day or so. All in all, looking good! Day 17 - I noticed one leaf that looks like it’s being “eaten” but took out the jewelers loupe and don’t see any sort of bugs so not sure what’s happening. Only the one spot so possibly a drop of nutrient hit it and I didn’t notice but looks decent other than that. Started LST so we’ll see how she recovers. Day 18 - Looks like the garden staple slipped sometime last night so my first attempt at LST didn’t take. Was going to redo the staple but decided to go back to the colored pipe cleaners. Retied her down and see how she’s doing tomorrow. Day 19 - Recovered well from LST and is stretching for the light. Gave her the second and final feeding for week 3. Will let her stretch a little more before tying her down some more. Day 21 - Ending week 3 and all is looking good. Did a little more LST today and so far so good. A couple pistils have started to show but nothing to crazy. Just gave her some water today and will start week 4 feeding schedule in a couple days.

Day 22 - Starting week 4 with a little more LST. Will continue doing so until I’ve got the chutes I want and she stops stretching. Waiting for her to dry out a little before starting her next feeding. All in all, she’s looking pretty good and no real issues so far. Day 23 - Did a little more LST and removed 2 giant fan leaves blocking a lot of light. Gave her the first of week 4’s feeding today and everything’s looking good with this girl. Day 24 - Tied down a few branches to let some more light in. Removed a couple more large fan leaves that was blocking light and she’s more open now. So far she’s looking pretty good and can’t wait for her to start flowering. Day 25 - Tied down a few more branches today and gave her the second feeding of the week. Everything is coming together and I think, looking pretty good with this girl. Really looking forward to her starting to flower. Day 26 - Looks like she’s starting to flower a bit now. More and more pistils are showing and she’s got plenty of chutes that are getting good light now. Pot is still a bit heavy so not ready for any water quite yet. Day 28 - End of week 4 and she’s starting to stretch pretty good now. More and more pistils so I’m thinking she’s officially starting to flower. Finally the pot dried out and gave her a good drink of water today.

Day 29 - Kicking off the start of week 5 and she’s definitely starting to flower. Will be starting the week 5 foxfarm feeding schedule as soo as she’s dried up. Ready to watch her start taking off and filling in. Have really had no issues or deficiencies so far. Can’t say enough about FastBuds and their genetics. Day 30 - Gave her the first feeding of the week today and added a little bit of molasses to the feed, given to me as a tip, so we’ll see how it does. She’s definitely starting to stretch and love the structure of this one so far. She tends to droop a bit right after watering but perks back up within an hour or so. Day 31 - Held off on giving any water today, still felt like she had enough to get her through another day. Will give her plain pH’d water tomorrow. She’s stretched almost an inch overnight and I think this is one of my best looking grows so far. Will keep my fingers crossed things continue to go and smoothly as they have so far. Day 32 - Gave the girl some fresh pH’d water tonight and she’s still looking healthy. Not much else going on with her right now. Day 33 - Grew an inch overnight but went ahead a raised the tie downs on most of the branches and tied her down a bit more to open her up for more light. Hopefully she responds well. Shall see tomorrow. No feed or water today, letting her dry out a bit more. Day 34 - She’s definitely stretching quite a bit every day, an inch over the last 24 hours. Gave her the second and final feed of the week and will give her just water until the start of week 6. Day 35 - End of week 5 and just took her out to get a few pics and get her measured. She grew another half an inch overnight. She’s definitely one of my best grows so far. She definitely looks bigger, healthier and further along than the green crack was at this point.

Day 36 - The start of week 6 and things couldn’t be going better. Overnight, she stretched almost 2 inches. Gave her the first feeding of the week today. Still tying down a few branches here and there to try and get more light to the middle of her. Day 37 - No feeding or water today, not quite dried out yet. Stretched another half and inch overnight. Did a little leaf tucking to open her up more. Day 38 - Stretched another inch overnight and she’s now up to 15”. Gave her a full gallon of pH’d water with Calmag. Just waiting for the bud sites to start filling in and fattening. Day 39 - Still stretching, another inch from 15 to 16 now. No water or feed today, just a few pics for progress. Hoping these next couple weeks, she’ll start filling in. Day 40 - Gave her the second and final feeding of the week and looks like she’s starting to fill in a little. Only grew about a half inch overnight so maybe the stretching is slowing down and she’ll start packing on now.

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and gave her the first feed of the week. She’s still stretching but she’s starting to fill in quite a bit too. Starting to have a pineappley scent to her as well. Day 44 - For the most part, all looks pretty good. I did spot a couple leaves that look like there may be some sort of deficiency but trying to research and figure it out. It’s only on a couple leaves so not really spreading. Checked for any sort of bugs and nothing. Hopefully I can get it figured out and turned around. Day 45 - Gave her a full feeding of straight pH’d water and upped the cal-mag a little to see if maybe I have the start of a magnesium deficiency. Got advice from someone on a different site so we’ll see if this is corrected. She’s really starting to fill in more and more each day. Not a very strong smell coming from her right now but my fingers smell amazing, pineapple/citrus after doing some leaf tucking and I love it. Just for shits and giggles, I did a test of the runoff and measuring out at 6.7, just like what’s going into her so thinking that’s a good thing. Looking forward to the next and final few weeks. Day 46 - All looking good I think! Upped the cal-mag and bit and noticed one more leaf that was off. Everything else is looking green and healthy and the buds seem to be filling in and starting to fatten up nicely. Day 47 - Gave her the last feeding of the week and she starting to really fill in and fatten up. Starting to get pretty frosty and smelling wonderful! Day 49 - Good lord she’s starting to really smell amazing, tropical citrus. Can not wait to chop but still got some time. Will start the week 8 feeding schedule tomorrow, letting her really dry out.

Day 50 - Starting off week 5 and she’s smelling amazing. Not very strong throughout the house but as soon as the tent is opened, you can smell the tropical citrus. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and just counting down till chop, still a couple weeks away but she’s filling in and fattening up nicely. Day 51 - Nothing new to report today. She’s doing her thing and I’m just enjoying watching the growth and fattening each day. Day 52 - Think she’s just about done stretching, hopefully she’s starting to move on to the fattening up more part. Gave her some fresh pH’d water today and seems happy. Day 53 - All is good, just updating pics for the day. Day 54 - All still looking good and gave her the second and final feeding of the week. Waiting for her to really start bulking up in the next couple weeks before chopping but looks like she’s still got plenty of time left.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 today and everything is definitely looking and smelling great. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and will start monitoring the trichs here soon but she’s definitely still got some time left. Day 58 - All is looking good and nothing big to update but a few pictures to keep track of the buds fattening. Day 59 - Man she’s getting fat! Measure one bids width and it’s close to 3.5” wide and she’s still got a couple weeks still to go! Gave her a good drink of pH’d water today. Day 61 - Gave the girl the final feeding of the week today and she’s doing nothing but get fat. Did a quick check of the runoff pH and it’s coming out just as it’s going in, 6.6. Can not wait for this girl to finish. Day 63 - Ending week 9 and this thing is a beast, at least for me. She’s is fat and happy and just counting down till chop time but pistils are still white and she’s still fattening up so thinking another 2 weeks or so.

Day 64 - Starting the 10th week today and she’s just chugging along. Getting fatter and filling in more everyday. Gave her the first feeding of the week today and thinking about giving her a good flush at the end of the week and just water her till the end. Day 65 - Man oh man I’m looking forward to chopping this girl. She just gets fatter everyday. Debating on starting to flush this week so she’ll get a good two weeks to use everything up. Seeing some of the pistils starting to get a neon orange so I’m starting to think the end of week 11 will be it for this girl. Pretty much all milky trichs with a couple amber in there and no clear. She’s coming to the end of the line. Day 66 - Gave her a full gallon of pH’d water today and counting down to harvest day. I lowered the lights to about 8-10” because the heads on the buds really seem to be stretching and not looking normal. Don’t know if the lowering of lights will help, she’s “foxtailing” a bit it this is just normal for this strain. Hopefully lowering the lights will help. Day 67 - Decided, after some research and advise from here, to raise the lights instead of lowering because that would make the foxtailing worse. Will most likely chop her in about 10ish days, so going to start flushing tomorrow. Despite the foxtailing, the buds are still FAT and heavy! Day 68 - Seems like raising the lights kind of helped with the foxtailing a bit but we’ll see what happens her last week and a half or so. Flushed her with 2 gallons of pH’d water and some of foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Will give her straight water from now until chopping day. Hopefully she fills in a bit more but either way, she’s definitely fat and happy for the most part. Day 70 - End of week 10 today and will most likely chop next weekend. Letting her dry out still and thinking about no more water till chop but we’ll see how she looks throughout the week.

A couple of buds look like the tops aren’t really “compacting” and are stretching. Would lowering lights help, are the buds foxtailing? Is this bad? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Hi @Luv2Grow yes this is classic foxtailing caused from high temps. as far as bag appeal goes it's not pretty but no big deal Don't lower your lights it would only make things worse. I think your probably only 10 days or so from harvest by the looks so I wouldn't worry too much if there is any way you can lower temps this would stop the fox tailing I wish you a bountiful harvest 👌

Just harvested so will update along the way of drying and curing and most definitely the smoke. 22 Jul 19 - She’s pretty much dry and starting the cure but boy oh boy, what a smoke without any real cure time. The flavor so far is very tropical and smooth and only expect it to get better with cure time. Decided to watch the movie while were smoked a little and couldn’t stop laughing then just complete and total relaxation. This stuff is perfect with friends or just chilling. I’ve got lower back issues and completely forgot about the pain! I’ve got 9 more seeds to grow and can’t wait to start the next one but will definitely wait until I’ve got cooler weather. Thinking the heat didn’t help with the foxtailing issue I had. Everything looked beautiful while trimming but once dry, there’s definitely a few buds that are pretty flaky but has no effect on flavor or potency but did with the overall dried yield, which was right about 2.5 ounces. I grow for me and my family so still happy with the yield. HIGHLY recommend FastBuds Pineapple Express!!!

All I can say is this girl pretty much took care of herself. Had no real issues till the end when she started foxtailing. I did the best I could to try and lower the temps but it was hot here for a couple weeks. I had read that PE likes it a bit cooler so will definitely grow this girl again but will probably wait until winter where I can control the temps a bit easier. All in all she still provided 345 grams of pretty solid buds. A little bit of fluffy stuff but most were pretty solid.

@Fast_Buds,thank you for the kind words. I’m TRYING to be detailed but get side tracked between wife, kids and pets but I can’t say enough about y’all genetics. It’s pretty much all I’m growing now, other than freebies I receive. I really want to try y’alls Smoothies so I’m gonna try and get my hands on some soon.

@DILLIGAF, thank you, after doing some research and saw lowering lights wasn’t a good idea, I actual went back and raised them higher. I had about a week or so where my temps were around 85 and couldn’t get it lower but just recently got them to sit around 78 or so. I read that there was good and bad foxtailing but this stuff is just for me and family so don’t really care about bag appeal. I do appreciate your input, helped confirm what I was thinking! Much appreciated!!

Nice grow. Your foxtailing could just be genetics. Yes heat can contribute to the issue. Since she has more sativa genetics than indica genetics exposing her to too much red spectrum lights jump starts her defense response which is to grow foxtails. Backing off on the light intensity and adding more blue and white spectrum near the end of the grow will help keep foxtailing under control. It also helps with terpene production and preservation.

@Paul7227, Preciate it bud! If you’re stateside, I just went to Home Depot and got organic compost, peat moss, perlite and vermiculite. 3 parts compost, 3 parts peat moss, 2 parts perlite and 1 part vermiculite. Nice and airy and worked like a charm.

@GrowerNotAShower, negative, I typically feed nutes twice a week and plain water with cal-mag in between feedings.
