Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Looks like most of the stretch has stopped for both plants. There appear to be two slightly different phenos with one slightly taller than the other. The shorter one seems slightly further along with a bit more flower development and some frost starting to show. I've done a couple rounds of defoliation to get some better air flow and light to bud sites. I also went through and pinched off most of the lower bud sites that were not going to get sufficient light to develop.

Flowers are coming along nice. Im happy with my new light. Just changed my fertilizer from pre bloom to blooming. Thinking about getting big bud and bud candy.

Harvest update on flowering day 75 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey everyone ☺️👍. Today there is a short update of the harvest before the last update after the fermentation comes 😀👍. Both phenotypes were very easy to cut due to their very good bud to leaf ratio ☺️. I already like both phenotypes in terms of smell, although I have to say that Phenotype 1 smells much better and fruity 😍. Was trimmed clean by hand with disinfected scissors :-). Before harvest, both plants were given complete darkness for 48 hours. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber 😍. You can now dry for 7-12 days on the net at 62% humidity. Then it goes for another 12-17 weeks in the glasses with 62% boveda packs which are then changed to 58% boveda packs :-). Until then and for the final harvest update, I wish you all a lot of fun. Going into week 2 of flowering and shes looking pretty nice if I may say so my self. I've been trying to make her as flat and wide as possible for the last few weeks with some LST using paper clips. For the last few weeks the pH was raising daily from 5.5 all the way to around 6.6 over night so I would have to go back every day and add some pH down to bring it back to 5. I was thinking it was due to light getting into the reservoir so I added more black out to the bucket and for the last 3 nights I've checked the pH has been steady at 5.7 so I'm thinking I solved that problem.

Aber ich habe bewusst jetzt schon geerntet da ich die kleinen Buds und Sugar Leafs zu Bubble Hash verarbeiten werde, das sind satte 479g,ich habe keine Ahnung was das dann an Bubble Hash ergibt. Falls das jemand weiß schreibt es mir in die Kommentare.. Ich habe ein wet trimming gemacht, hat mich 4 Stunden gekostet, aber: 857g Nass Gewicht !! Wandert jetzt für 8 Tage in den Cannatrol Cool Cure. Edit: 186g Trocken Gewicht nach Curing, alle Stängel sind zudem entfernt. Riecht sehr frisch. Der Smoke ist sehr mild, aber die Wirkung haut mächtig rein, eher Sativa Effekte, hatte nen mega Laber Flash.. Auf jeden Fall viel THC. Das war ein Hochsommer Grow, die Sour Jealousy von FastBuds hat die hohen Temperaturen problemlos weggesteckt. Man muss dazu sagen, dass mein Zelt prinzipiell immer offen steht, so kann auch kein Schimmel entstehen denke ich. Nur muss ich eben mit 2 Luftentfeuchtern arbeiten.. Now giving them 6h 240W LED (1300PPFD) and 6 h 250 W HDL (1400PPFD) with 1h overlapp. Now using all of the Hesistuff like in the Plan : Root, Enzym, TNT, Phosphor, Bloom, Booster + Vitamins. Dripper overwatered a bit - back to handfeeding it. The Amnesia is now ca 2 Weeks behind the GG4 Auto with the bloom, i hope i can stretch it to at least 4 weeks. With the 12/12 light she should start to flower in the next days. But 3-4 Weeks would also be ok. plants seems happy with the haircut and the new lightsituation. room cleaned. - the LEDS are not as good as the HDL , they make a bit more PPFD from distance, but in shorter range and with good Fans the HDL is way better for the plant. Have to build a small Box for the veg phase of small plants and one for a motherplant & cloning.
