Update: We are officially kicking off Week 6 of Flower (excluding the initial 10-day stretch). The transition from the mid-flowering stage to the final ripening phase is looking very promising. This Bruce Banner #3 by Dark Horse Genetics is truly starting to live up to its reputation. The resin production is heavy and consistent across all colas. As you can see in the latest shots, the trichome coverage is dense, and the bracts are beginning to swell significantly. I pumped up the bloom nutrients a little. As it’s my last week before I go into the flower stage. My lights will go 12/ 12 shortly. I added a wooden support system because the plant was slanted a little bit. I also removed clones yesterday. And the plant is healing very very well and fast. Lots of new baby nodes growing! took out the strongest two plants to keep as mother plants. And I continued LST as the plant keeps growing steadily!

This strain is really easy to grow and reeks of grapefruit and skunk! I can’t wait to taste this strain! The grow stayed pretty short and bushy through the grow. Took well to nutrients and has a pretty decent yield...I will update dry weight and cure in a few weeks Update: Weighed in at 52g I was almost getting a headache from the smell while trimming! It has a strong sweet smell but the skunk is over load! The buds are covered in thricomes...can’t wait to smoke and give another update!

This was probably when I started to realize I should have done a lot more training. I didn't and we are where we are, but the plants look healthy as all get out. For my second grow and my first photoperiods, I couldn't be happier. Somewhere soon I axe the third plant, it was that or dedicate my entire 2x4 to it.

8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. Everything looked good this morning. The one in the 5gal was removed until I figure out its issue or trash it. The yield would be less than a branch anyway. Probably chronic underwatering. The 10 was bone dry despite the 3in of rain. Some bags seemed light. Looked at last years diary and went with my intuition. WATERED TODAY. Gave everything a gallon. I moved the event horizon to where the 5gal bucket wad and STARTED reorganizing to use the most of my space. I gotta pick up some zip ties and finish the supports but I'm happy. Plants look happy. Not as tall as last year but they are SUPER bushy. I'm going to have to open some up and spread the branches. I'll keep this updated. WENT OVER AROUND THREE. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. EC: 0.4 Watering: Both 1000 ml. EC: 1.4 Defoliated both plants and attached some shoots to the rack. She got really big fan leaves! I also supercropped some branches. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :) The #2 makes my fingers very sticky and smells really strong! I love it!

What to say about last week...I learned a lot about what NOT to do next time! the Northern Lights had all the leaves curl up and die on me so I decided to take it out and cut it...fuck it....a bit of a disappointing stick of nothing that prolly wont yield much, I'll add a 'Harvest for it next week when It's finished hanging. I messed up the watering (about once every 3 days) and gave em all (3) cal-mag instead of the overdrive I wanted to give...facepalm.... I guess that finished off the NL for good:P Anyway, the Diesel gals are looking healthy-ish... seeing some heavy leave coloration and curling but buds are looking frostier by the day! nice and compact, sweet smell, checked the trics but still waiting to spot the 1st brown ones, I'll try and keep em cooking till I feel its time (2 more weeks:P) 😁

Hello and welcome to week 7 beginning for Nesia, the largest and most advanced 6 week old plant I have ever grown. I update daily so week 6 is now complete. Please do check it out! I have added some comparisons shots of Karen, the oldest girl of this [G2] series to show just how impressive Nesia is. Nesia is 25 days younger than Karen and she is already a larger plant. This diary is not very popular or comment filled right now, but as this grow progresses I really think it's going to gain some attention. Nesia is going to be big. Day 44: Nesia stretching fast now. Day 45: Flowering is going well. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 46: Fertigated 5l Day 47: Nesia is really moving into flower strongly now. Pistil development has started proper, stretching rapidly. Day 49: Nesia starting to pose me a challenge. She is big. Now by far the largest plant. She has reached 50cm height and 70cm across. I will add proper photos later and do a week summary. Day 49: Nesia is stretching really fast now. I hope she doesn't stretch much more but I fear we're only halfway done. She's way bigger than Karen now. Taller, wider. Fertigated 5l End of week summary... well what can I say Nesia has now surpassed Karen (25 days older) in every size and growth metric. She is following exactly the same pattern except without all the problems. I think she still has 2 weeks of stretching to go, on that basis I am expecting her to grow upto 25cm in the next week and the same again the week after - so I think Nesia is going to end up being about 1m tall. Honestly I hope not though, but let us see.
