what’s up guys, today’s day 1 of week 5 in veg and it’s looking like this will be the last day before i flip to flower. the plan is to switch to 12/12 right after today, but my ppms are sitting at 370 which isn’t ideal at all. definitely need to get that sorted quick before the flip. she’s still been growing super fast and handled defoliation and topping like a champ. that mag deficiency is still hanging around even with foliar sprays and feeding recommended nutes, so i’ll be dialing everything in asap. excited to move into flower though, it’s about to get good.

Hello Growers & Tokers! The route to having a jungle starts with the roots! That's why my main goal in those first 14-21 days is developing the root system. I like to give them time to expand the roots which is very important for a healthy plant. That also gives them more time to get bigger and stronger before going into flower. More growth, more bud sites, more buds. Trust me the wait is worth the reward. We'll be seeing some truly sweet and zenzational flowers. This week they got transplanted to their final pot, 11L fabric pots. It's one step closer to getting that jungle, zenzational! Medium used was Light Mix from BioBizz. Synergy from Grotek nutrients was blended in the medium to help out the roots. Let the mycorrhizae do its job and take over the soil, then the roots just follow. Hello friends, At last I find some time and I was able to fix a "days" 😛 Everything is going well and she looks very healthy. I have done a small defoliation of lower part of plant just for a maintenance a good health, canopy is in tact 😁💪😁 Update: Day 82 I will talk a little bit about conditions and my setup. For 5 weeks, I maintained Rh at 67% during the day cycle and around 75/80% during the night cycle. The temperature was kept at 24/26 °C during the day, and at 19/20 °C at night. From this week, that is the 6th week of flowering, taking advantage of the weather and the lack of heatwaves the temperature is kept at 23 °C during the day and 16/17 °C at night, which for my darling is a perfect time for nighttime temperature drops. The air humidity is now between 57/63% Rh during the day, 65/70% Rh at night. I am pleased with the fact that I am able to maintain the conditions constantly without significant problems, even the heat waves turned out to be less problematic than I assumed 😱🙂 Thanks to the possibility of changing the fan capacity between 160/200 m3 and changing the efficiency of the air humidifier, I kept the conditions in the tent very effectively in a controlled manner. Now I will write a little about fertilizers, I use the Autopot system, i.e. a hydroponic system, a 15l pot and AirDome in side. I use BioNova + Canna enzyme fertilizers, my friends never before I grow so healthy plants as they do now on this BN + C set. Amazing orange smell and high resin production is what makes me very happy 😁😁😁 Controlled conditions + good fertilizers + good LED lamp is probably the best "way" to enjoy beautiful buds 👍💪🤘 I am still waiting for my darling a few more weeks which are worth waiting until she will be ready 😇😇😇 I wish you a beautiful afternoon, You Lovely Girls Growers 😁😁😁

Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! Excited to start my second grow (even though I haven't finished the first grow). I need to apply what I've learned before I forget and screw these plants, too! Started another zskittles seed 3/1 and planted 3/2. I kind of lost the first seed in the soil while planting (don't ask). I still left Skittles # 1 just to see what happens ¯_(ツ)_/¯. 3/4 - The seed that I thought was lost deep in the soil actually popped up a little near the edge. I G E N T L Y relocated the root to the center and buried it a 1/4 in down. Very excited that I didn't blow this plant! So it looks like i'll be growing 3 plants this time around. Ambitious for a newb? Very much so.

The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Our beautiful girls have plant louses 😱 So yesterday we made a brew of garlic and sprinkeld all of the plants, also the ground of the growbox - after cleaning up everything. So we hope this works. Have anyone experience with the small green monsters? We would be grateful for some suggestions.

This plant was not to bad in terms of lst needs and defoliating needs as much as the other ones. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through.
