I did not much this week. Just watering around 2-3 liter every day. I used regular tap water with a little bit of Sysmag for the 3:1 ratio of calcium and magnesium. The plants look so good! Im starting to get really excited. The nectar and something good are already giving some nice smell and lots of sticky trichomes.

🇩🇪 Woche 10 – Mentha de Croco (Terpyz) 🌿🌳 Die beiden Mentha de Croco legen weiterhin beeindruckend zu und haben diese Woche die 1-Meter-Marke deutlich überschritten 🚀🔥. Mit aktuell 104 cm und 107 cm Höhe entwickeln sie sich prächtig und zeigen eine enorme Wuchskraft. Besonders faszinierend wird die Blattmorphologie: Die charakteristischen, farnartigen Blätter werden immer ausgeprägter und verleihen den Pflanzen ein einzigartiges Erscheinungsbild 🌿✨. Sie sind mittlerweile echte Hingucker im Garten und unterscheiden sich deutlich von klassischen Cannabissorten. Das Wetter hat in der vergangenen Woche nur bedingt mitgespielt. Durch die vielen Niederschläge ☔ musste ich aber praktisch nicht gießen , sodass die Pflanzen vollständig vom Regenwasser profitieren konnten. Die Farbe bleibt sattgrün und die Vitalität ist unverändert hervorragend 💚. Letzte Woche gab es eine Gabe eines selbst hergestellten Pflanzenferments, verdünnt mit 10 ml auf 1 Liter Wasser 🌱. Das Ferment wurde aus Ackerschachtelhalm und frischen Brennnesseln hergestellt und anschließend mit Zucker, Melasse, Honig, EM-1 und selbst hergestellten LABs angesetzt. Nach zehn Tagen Fermentation wurde es filtriert und kühl gelagert. Ziel ist es, die Mikrobiologie und Pflanzengesundheit auf natürliche Weise zu unterstützen 🌍🔬. Heute wird außerdem wieder ein frischer Komposttee angesetzt, um das Bodenleben weiter zu fördern und die Living-Soil-Prozesse aktiv zu halten. Insgesamt entwickeln sich beide Pflanzen hervorragend. The distinctive fern-like leaves are becoming more pronounced every week, giving the plants a truly unique appearance 🌿✨. They stand out beautifully and look very different from traditional cannabis varieties. Weather conditions were not ideal this past week. But Heavy rainfall ☔ meant there was no need for additional watering, allowing the plants to benefit entirely from natural rainwater. Their foliage remains deep green and overall vitality is excellent 💚. Last week, the plants received an application of a homemade fermented plant extract diluted at 10 ml per liter of water 🌱. The ferment was made from horsetail and fresh nettles, enriched with raw sugar, molasses, honey, EM-1, and homemade LAB cultures. After a 10-day fermentation period, it was filtered and stored in the refrigerator. The goal is to naturally support plant health and soil biology 🌍🔬. Today, a fresh batch of compost tea is being brewed to further stimulate microbial activity and keep the living soil ecosystem thriving. Overall, both plants are performing exceptionally well. No major phenotypic differences so far — which makes this run especially interesting to follow. ⸻ 🌸 Week 5 overview — transition into flower This week marks what feels like the first “real” flower week: • Clear bud sites forming • Vertical growth slowing slightly • Side branches pushing up evenly • Plants staying compact and well-balanced They’re stacking nicely and responding very well to the gentle training approach. ⸻ 🌿 Training & canopy management No heavy interventions here: • Continuous leaf tucking • Gentle branch bending • Very light LST, only where needed to open the canopy No defoliation beyond what’s absolutely necessary. The goal remains: let the plant decide, we just guide So far, this approach is paying off. ⸻ 🍽️ Nutrition & irrigation strategy (important update) ➕ CalMag introduced this week Not because the plants are deficient — but because: • We’re using rainwater + dehumidifier water • These sources are very low in minerals • Calcium & Magnesium need to be present before demand spikes This also explains the EC adjustments this week. ⸻ 🚿 Hand-watered plants • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9–6.0 • Water temp: 22.8°C Carefully adjusted to support flower transition without pushing too hard. ⸻ 💧 AutoPot-fed plants (6 plants) • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.01 • Water temp: 22.8°C AutoPots are running mineral-only inputs, as organic inputs don’t perform well in this system. Higher EC here is intentional and controlled. ⸻ 🔍 Plant handling All plants are regularly: • Taken out of the tent • Checked for weight, water demand, and overall condition • Then returned to their position This helps ensure each plant gets exactly what it needs. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment (winter realities) • Outside: ~5°C, RH 92–96% • Grow room: • Temp: ~21.8°C • RH: ~58% Not ideal on paper — but the plants are not complaining, so we adapt and keep observing. ⸻ 💡 Lighting • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size and position) • Plants are praying consistently, showing good light response We let the plants “decide” how much they want to push. No forcing — just monitoring. 🔦 Under-canopy lighting — phased introduction By the end of this week, we’ll be plugging in the under-canopy lights. The canopy has already grown past the main light plane, and the goal here is not to blast the lowers — but to signal the plant that light is present from all directions. Why we’re doing this: • Encourage lower and inner bud sites to stay active • Reduce the “shade shutdown” response • Support more uniform flower development • Improve airflow and plant posture as branches respond to multidirectional light Important note: This will start very gently — low intensity, just enough to be perceived. PPFD and intensity under the canopy will be increased gradually, only if the plants respond positively. The idea isn’t forcing production — it’s communication. We let the plant decide how much it wants to use. ⸻ Fungus gnats — honesty section Yes, we’re seeing a small fungus gnat presence: • Yellow sticky traps installed • More intentional dry-downs • Actively monitoring, not panicking Personal thought (not science, just observation): A mild, controlled pressure may trigger subtle defense responses. Merry Christmas everyone from Sunshine and me! Thank you for following another update and I hope you and yours are enjoying yourselves! She is still filling out her bud sites and the buds have grown considerably so in my case she seems more of a late-bloomer, she is covered in trichomes and smells like exotic fruit. Removed some more leaves, she had some more humid areas that could go moldy. Started only giving plain water since a couple of days. The previous time with the final shot of perma tea. She is clearly ending her run and my guess is that the soil still has high nute level, coming days will start flushing with more water I don't know if I can give her days of darkness since shell probably go first. Hi gromie's welcome to week 8. These girls are going great, started flushing on Monday 11/11/24 with plain ph'd water and Resin from Green Planet Nutrients at 2ml/ltr. I also reduced watering to just 2 times a day for 15 minutes on each time. Just trying something different as I usually do high fertigation . 15 minutes on watering cycle every 2 hours. From what I've read, I was hoping they would draw moisture from within themselves to help with drying but also some people believe it can increase THC?? It has worked at bringing out some more of that beautiful colour with in the buds but you can really notice the back plant has started canabilising itself! Starting to see some really nice fading of colours on the vegetation of the plant at the back, which is something I don't usually get with hydro because you usually feed them right to the end & Only need to flush for 2 to 3 days. Gave them a long flush this time. I've been waiting on a new microscope to arrive to check trichomes, but these girls are looking about done going off pistills turned orange/brown & curling in , Calyx closed & swelling up, looking really frosty!!! Will harvest this week! As I need to get veging plants into Flower Come on Grow diaries get your act together!!! I'm tired of updating my Diary only to see it's all wrong, things have been changed, put my day temp at 28°c save it & it shows -2°c & it's like that All through the diaries????

The plants are doing really well ✌️ Last week it looked like the buds growth was slowing down, but this week the buds are growing in size by the day. The strain description says the plant should be ready in 9 weeks, but as things look now it could also be 10 weeks. I don't mind though as she already looks amazing and getting better every day! The plant in the back that didn't have the purple shades is now also turning purple-ish. The resin production on both plants is more than I ever seen in previous grows. The buds and sugarleafs are sparkling every time I open the growbox, and the smell is really intense. My carbon filter is having a hard time keeping the aroma inside the GTools these last few weeks 😅 Will the Fruity Donutz will be ready by the end of the week? Stay tuned for more pictures and updates 😊😉 A final update before the plants are harvested ✌️ It's officially week 10 now, but I plan to harvest the Fruity Donutz in a day or 2. The trichomes are mostly milky but no amber ones just yet. It would be a shame to harvest these beauties before they reach their max potential. They look absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to try them. I plan to chop them down and hang them without doing any trimming, just remove the biggest leafs. They take longer to dry, but it does improve the overall taste and quality in my experience.

🌱 Grow Diary: Week 1 Wrap-Up (Day 0–7) Week 1 of Flower Complete Key Milestones Achieved: · Successful Flip (30 May): I switched to 12/12 with a healthy 90 cm root mass. · Stretch Phase Initiated: My plants showed significant daily water consumption (3–5l day). Canopy height increased visibly. · pH/PPM Stabilization: I managed nutrient stratification by lifting the pot tops to mix. Settled sediment was successfully reintegrated. · Concentrate Calibration: My homemade 5-7g/1.75L of A&B batch was measured at 3,455PPM and tested for real-world effect (+42 PPM per 100 mL in ~10 L). This is now a reliable tool. Week 1 Final Readings (End of Day 7): · Plant 1: 612 PPM / 6.01 pH · Plant 2: 652 PPM / 6.06 pH Nutrients & Additives Used: · Canna Cal/Mag (RO water base to ~200 PPM) · Sensi Bloom A + B (Base) · Voodoo Juice (2 mL/L) · Homemade Concentrate (3,450 PPM) · pH Up (Small drops for correction) Health Assessment: · Roots: Thick, white, and filling the bucket. · Canopy: Flat, wide, and entering the stretch. Additives: Big Bud and Bud Candy are ready for Week 2 (Day 10-14). 3. Water Level Monitoring: I will keep a close eye on the level. My plants are drinking heavily. I will top with RO water as needed. My Assessment: Week 1 was a textbook transition. I handled stratification, calibrated my concentrate, and kept the pH in the sweet spot. My plants have responded with aggressive growth. I am now entering the "bud formation" phase of Week 2. I will stay on top of the water level as the roots are taking up the volume of the reservoir. and the incoming Hydroguard then reservoir change "The first week of flower is a ballet of adjustments. 420Fastbuds FBT2311 Germination Week Time has come yet to start another amazing Tester strain from 420Fastbuds FBT2311. Started germination on 2/7 by soaking the seed in just water for 48hrs then planting it directly in the soil (Roots Organic 707) in a 3gal fabric pot. I spray the top soil with my gallon sprayer keeping it moist for the next week. After 48hrs in the soil we have sprouts that emerged that appear to be healthy and happy. All in all Happy Growing

End of Week 7 and finally the 2nd 250W Lamp is here!!! Tropicana Cookies going strong, the Skittlez seem to wanna grow a little more before coming into flowering. Will change the Lightning to 12/12 if it doesnt get better. Plants drank wel over 40L of Nutrients this week.
