This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. Strawberry Banana is growing ok. I added one row of blocks to raise her up. Lst tied one branch off to the side. I'm hoping she starts to pick up in the week. I see potential but we'll see. There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. Okay so thats probably the last week, though i still dont see any amber trichomes. Im scared of budrot and i cant see any huge progress.. one is behind and is getting one more week. I harvested one already at day 55 due to budrod.. Im happy to see any last advices! My Runtz plant is branching out like crazy! It had a bit of a slow and wonky start, but it's really taken off. The leaves are super unique – I've only seen this kind of shape once before, on my Permanent Marker plant. It'll be interesting to see how it develops! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. This week flushing the wedding cake i thought that was the problem was an excess of nutrients, but instead the water was quite clean, around 1100ppm at the first drain, after several flushes water is now on 600ppm.. It seems that the others are starting to have the same deficiency that hit wedding # 2 .. now I'm treating them with 0.5ml of cal-mag adding it to the other nutrients for once a week (except wedding # 2) I will wait for the soil to dry out, to give her only clean water since the final harvest is not long. ⚠️ UPDATE DAY 45 ⚠️ Yesterday flush for dos si dos and today flush for (wedding cake 1) they are having a nutrient lockout too..😪 The (wedding cake 1) is clearly healthier than her sister (wedding cake 2) by looking at her color, but unfortunately she had excessive PPM / EC too.. So i did the same procedure by using only tap water, but this time added only 0,5ml of cal-mag. Water was at 6.5 ph until I got a better runoff, it went from 5.7 to 6.0 PH and from 1800 to 700-600ppm 😬 I have never thought of overdoing nutrients so much.. I will certainly learn a lot from these mistakes 🙌🏻

22/06/2022 - Day 58 Gorilla Girls🦍 are almost ready. # 1 has already been a week with only BioBoost and RIPEN. # 2 started with Boost 4 days ago, now I wait for the soil to dry and then wash in the tank.🛁 The Gelato Girls 🍦are still a little behind in maturation (especially # 2, due to folding). She will start with Boost and RIPEN with # 1 from the next watering🚿, while continuing with Flores and Boost for # 2.🌱 26/06/2022 - Day 61 Gorilla Girls 🦍 are ready for flushing in the bathtub.🛁 Then I will wait for the soil to dry and then I will cut.✂️ Gelato Girls 🍦 are still a bit missing. # 1 has moved to Boost + RIPEN , # 2 is still in the previous nutrient phase. It will switch to Boost + RIPEN next week.

Hi Growmies, My apologies for the delayed update, but work life balance got a bit out of wack recently. Anyways, water was changed on time and general maintenance took place. Continued with very light defoliation to really guarantee that all the shoots get equal light exposure. She is turning out to be a real beauty and literally no Scr.O.G was necessary due to her natural structure. Buds are already forming very compact and dense to touch, something that’s always a good sign ;) Since this is my first proper DWC grow I am actually quite impressed by the root growth and the resulting nutrient uptake, as well as vigor in plant growth. Is it btw just me or is this website getting slower, buggier and laggier by the day? Videos won’t upload, weeks don’t reflect, diaries won’t update….

So, very first run with the new set up which I'm excited for. Currently just getting the environment dialled in. Running a RDWC system, along with LEDs, the recipe for success. Running some great genetics from seed stockers (purple punch). Will be back with an update soon, for now enjoy the pictures and videos I upload. FlavoursUK Day 6. Girls doing well. Roots hit the water so expecting some nice growth now. pH fluxing between 5.9/6.0 which is good as that's where I want it, especially for veg. Cant wait to see what I can do with this. Stay tuned.
