Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Day 64, 22nd of November 2021: Hi there! Here we go..... so basically pistils are appearing stronger this is the 2nd weeks since they started producing pre flowers. The plants getting a bit light might be some air circulation problem? However they look good and of course closer to the end the gettin' older so the leaves also die. Set up and timing is the same since flower season started. ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation: 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hour on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

Took longer than expected with most of the seeds poping after 4 days.

I am very happy with the harvest @21% wet to dry that pretty strong for me, the buds were in the tent for 10 days, the long slow drying process has really paid off. The buds were solid and frosty, this strain was very easy to grow, and like I said Original Sensible Seeds do not disappoint, I have a few more strains by them and cant wait to get them started!

She got really stout and bushy like a Christmas tree, you can tell by the stem structure that the colas are gonna be thick and dense, but boy did she have a Crazy couple of weeks. First it was little spots of powder mildew. Then She kept getting spider mites and i couldnt seem to keep them away. i have a lot of other plants and veggies growing my garden so i moved her. Little did i know that her being near my sunflowers meant that some type of sunflower worm would get to it and one burrowed inside the stem of the main cola so i had to trim that way down to keep it from rotting. The mold and the mites were friggin persistent so i moved her to a different location and shes doing so much better. im almost positive i stunted her by trimming the main cola. Im not mad though cause it looks like she has 4 different colas growing in its place so im ok with that. Most descriptions say she finishes flowering around 10-11 weeks and I'm there now with a lot of maturing left to do. Shes looking healthy so well see how she matures!

2da semana de flora y cambio positivo para las quebradas 😅 Blue Moby ni se enteró del supercroping accidental lo que si quedo con baja estatura que las demás. moby dick se recupero de la arrancada de la.punta principal 💪 viene un poco atrasada en flora en comparación a ww y bm pero viene remontando. Whithe widow viene súper bien y florando con cambios día a día 😍 está semana defolie las 3 por última vez y agregue una segunda malla de scrog para evitar el error anterior de quebrarla queriendola entrenar! D97 F50: what a week!!! I can't believe it, the plants are more and more fragrant, the flowers are bigger and bigger... I expected less than that! I started the flush with simple osmosis water, corrected with a PH of 6.1! I managed to increase the EC from 2.1 to 1.3, with about 4 liters per plant!! I was able to remove the excess water in the tank using a pump! I'm aiming for an EC between 0.1 and 0.5 for half of week 9, before letting them dry on the foot. In any case, there are fewer seeds in my flowers than I thought, I tried to remove a few seeds with tweezers, it worked for a few plants but the code red #1 didn't like it... some pieces of flowers dried a little and some trichromes matured faster!! I'm not touching anything anymore smells: Papaya Bang Bang #1: smells of exotic fruit candies, especially papaya, very deep and addictive!! a banger LA Vanilla cake #2: smell of gas with ripe fruits, very cali gelato Papaya bang bang #2: smell of exotic fruits on a very earthy background, a little og, it's not really what I was looking for but it looks interesting! I think it will be round in the mouth cherry gar see ya #4: smell of exotic fruit compotes on a very fresh background!! white runtz x Hollywood: a banger!! a very resinous runtz smell, almost rosin, with smells of lemongrass, ginger... Second week. It's growing very fast now

The little Potter AMS Gorilla Glue has had a ph issue this week. I got it mostly stable when I seen it. The nutrition was a little too strong causing it to spike down as it got less moisture in the substrate. She has still grown well under the Spider Farmer G3000 light with issue. I just switched her to flowering today. She should be good to go at this point. Nothing else to report. Just a little fly by...

The end is in sight, likely in 2 weeks, they are producing compact and sticky buds, looks like it is going to be easy to trim, so little leaves in those buds! They smell fruity, earthy, fuel and a very strong kush base with lemon on one of my pheno, the second one is a little smaller and she smells more like carame&peaches in a kush sauce lol absolute beauties!

Ho sistemato LST giornalmente perché continuano a crearsi nuove ramificazioni e gemme ovunque. Sto irrigando con 0.5L di acqua ogni giorno, ma credo dovrò passare a 1lt perché l’assorbe subito. Giorno 35 - l’apicale si é spezzato al 50% ho provveduto subito a mettergli del nastro di carta intorno e fargli un sostegno sotto per reggerlo nella sua posizione. Immagino che ora se dovesse sopravvivere avrà un blocco di qualche giorno. *Giorno 35 h.20.30 dopo solamente 6 ore l’apicale ha iniziato ad alzarsi da solo staccandosi dal sostegno, assurdo!
