Die Woche verging wie im Fluge. Purple Punch Auto glitzert in den Morgenstunden wunderschön und verströmt einen sehr angenehmen Duft. Momentan duftet diese hier von unseren vier Pflänzchen am stärksten. Die Blüten schwellen nach einem krassen Stretch an. Das intensive LST und das Entfernen störender Blätter hat dazu geführt, dass die Blüten sehr gleichmäßig Sonnenlicht bekommen und später in der Blüte die Luft gut zirkulieren kann. Zwei Tage der Woche standen die Pflanzen unter der Markise, es hat über Stunden heftig geregnet. Nachdem ich meine Grashüpfer letzte Woche umgesiedelt habe, der Fraß ging mir zu weit, sehen die nachwachsenden Pistillen wieder gut aus. Vorher wurden die von den Hüpfern gerne angeknabbert. Das Gießen läuft wie gewohnt nach Gefühl. An heißen Sonnentagen bis zu 1,5 Liter. Soweit die News von unserem Balkon, die nächsten Wochen werden vergehen und dann ist die erste Saison als Weed Gärtner auch schon wieder beendet.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. It was a good week for the Strawberry Banana Auto, she was pushing her 7th node on day 26 so I gently removed the top, and I also removed the lowermost 2 nodes so I will have nodes 3, 4, 5, and 6 to work with. She got a little sad immediately after topping, but when the lights came back on after 6 hours of dark she was perked right back up and I immediately started LST to try and develop an even canopy. She is still feeding 4 times per day on Silica, CalMag, and GH maxi gro veg nutes. This light is an absolute beast, I now have it cranked up to 50% in the V1 stage, and it continues to keep everything green and more importantly with tight internode spacing. I will continue to LST for a few more weeks and transition her to flower nutrients once her vertical grow stops on its own or if I need it to stop due to height constraints. Everything went well appart from the afids in the end. She looks very pretty and smells awesome! Yield could be a litle higher... Still shooting for less than 1€/g. I think I will stop topping my plants. 08/27/2021 Been 7 days since last pictures. Pheno #4 was eliminated do to the fact she reversed (hermied) I believe that an outside light was at fault. ( lemon Thai) genetics maybe coming through. Others have not really been affected but pheno #2,3 may have been delayed a bit but no sign of hermies just not as developed as pheno #1(Hulk). Going to mix up a flowering tea (AACT) fungal dominant. Also topdress with Gypsum, and Diatomatious Earth before tea is applied. Gypsum Gypsum is calcium sulfate (CaSO4). Refined gypsum in the anhydrite form (no water) is 29.4 percent calcium (Ca) and 23.5 percent sulfur (S). Usually, gypsum has water associated in the molecular structure (CaSO4·2H2O) and is approximately 23.3 percent Ca and 18.5 percent S (plaster of paris). 01/24/25. Start week 8 veg I messed around with this girl a lot the past week. I could see she had plenty of branching and bud sites but most of them were hiding. I used some lst clips to move things around and get more exposed. She was watered yesterday with calmag and her next watering will be with a feeding. She’s drinking about a half gallon every 2-3 day currently. She’ll be getting flipped soon. Would have already done it but one of the friends had been a straggler and trying to get her right. 02/26/25- did some more last minute training and cleaned up around her nether regions and got rid of lower growth 02/27/25- watered/fed half a gallon Also added video. Deep breaths... alright well things changed rapidly this week. She went downhill quick. Signs of potassium deficiency, but that shouldn’t be a problem. Thinking, after checking runoff, she faded a little too acidic (I had stopped checking regularly as I’ve had minimal issues on previous 5 grows). She got a nice flush, with final run off reading at 6.4. She only has 2 weeks or so to go, so not panicking; if anything just a learning experience. Her flush was yesterday; she’s scheduled for feeding on Tuesday, so we will see how things go. Video/photos taken 63 days after breaking soil.

Added top funnel watering wick, most insects/bugs use damp topsoil 1-2" to reproduce.
