Harvested after 3 days flush and two days night after recommended 9 weeks. Got 2 phenos. One better and more representative of the strain description which i kept a clone of to S1 and stabilize.
As usual uploading here is a pita it didnt upload my videos again really annoying, but pics show the better strain is stronger bramches, stretchier, and better buds.
I cut them in the video so no one cries i didnt harvest lol. Smell is from sourish sweet to sweet and mossy like a green slurpy or something. 6 week testers were potent and frosty already so i cant imagine after proper harvest and cure.
Almost regret this grow. Taste was ok, 3rd pheno totally fibered up and became trash hemp.
It's like im responsible to testing and pheno hunting unstable untested f1s.
I won jack shit from it too. Learned my lesson.
@Spray86pt, thanks growmie. I got one good one out of 5. The sweet pheno was small buds and tiny herm seeds at the end like some reported. One pheno is perfect buds i need to take cure pics. I cloned it and will s1 or cross it once i get final taste. 2 week cure its still stanky but becoming sweet like sprite and moss
Official confession in future cheating ? ;)))
Think "part harvest" is still a harvest , i had that idea, when she was slow in veg, now she is adding up quickly, maybe lack of food or strong light makes her mature quicker than expected...
Maybe its quickest kush , my previous shortest kush grow was 11 weeks of flower, they can take even 14.
On events day mine will be 8 weeks and 3 days in flower..
In Birmingham they grew cheese only because of quick turnaround, could be genetics, but i never googled that strain well ...
I'm still waiting on my plant to finish drying (60°F, 60% RH) but you've got me hyped up to try it!
I hope they let you do a partial harvest for the contest. It would be a shame to cut this before it's ready.
Nice work on this grow dude. I looked at the shape of your leaves and it looks like you had that grow dialed in nicely. Only minimal tip burn which is pretty damn good. I get problems with burning my plants because i use water thats 200ppm out of the tap. So when you mix a weak solution of nutrients for newly planted clones, and you are shooting for 250 to 300 ppm and because your damn tap water is 200 ppm, even at half strength nutes i watered in a 592 ppm first time water and some of them burned a bit. It's so frustrating. I'm trying to dial it in but it's that much harder when you have to factor in your ppm of your tap water, which isn't consistent. I want a RO filter but with everything on a meter these days, how is throwing away 2 gals of water to get 1 gallon of any practicality? Anyways, really nice diary. Nice frosty buds, nicely done!
