After exfoliation, leaf spot has virtually disappeared and main cola has really put on weight. Flowers are also growing much more densely than with my dwc grow but the blueberry pine diesel smell isn't there this time around. I have also been fertilizing quite high this week, double strength because soil gets completely dry in under 24hrs and I'm not seeing any lockout or toxic signs. 9/15 Started flushing despite last dwc with Jack grow went 12 weeks. Bud was potent but lacked odor.

🌿 Week 5 Update: Breaking Dominance & Structural Shaping Grow Environment & Conditions Light Cycle: 18/6 Training Method: LST (Low Stress Training) Pest Control: Active monitoring via yellow sticky cards (No current infestations noted). Weekly Observations & Actions This week was all about manipulating the architecture of the plant. I’ve officially moved into the vegetative training phase to increase my final yield potential. LST Execution: I’ve applied 90° LST clips to the main terminal. By pinning the main apex down, I am successfully redistributing auxins (growth hormones) to the lower lateral branches. Stem Health: The main stalk is showing great flexibility. No "knuckling" or stress fractures observed at the bend site. Growth Response: Within 24 hours of clipping, the secondary nodes began turning upward toward the light source, confirming the break in apical dominance. Root Zone: Maintaining consistent moisture levels. The plant is currently housed in a smaller starter pot nested within the main container I’m keeping an eye on root-bound signals before the final stage. Nutrient & Water Log Feeding: Continuing with the base veg formula. pH Level: Stable at 5.8 – 6.0 (Targeting the sweet spot for coco). Runoff: Minimal, ensuring no salt buildup in the early stages. The "Kewpie" Guard 👶 The garden guardians are keeping a close watch. They seem to be providing +5 to "Vibe Stats."

The cherry cola at the front stretched more this week, theres no room left in the tent so hopefully thats its vertical height achieved, had a minor problem with the autopot valve on the banana punch blocked with dirt so I replaced it with a spare, started using pk 13/14 in the rez yesterday, Not much else going on this week, humidity is still high but dropping, hoping the 2 front plants start focusing on bud production this week.

Day 52 today Been a rough week , as was extremely hot 30+ in the tent for two days and the big SNS really dried out. I have given it some BAC organic PK boost to help it recover. The other SNS was fine as this did not dry out as much and the blackberry gum, was also fine. This has grown into a decent size plant resin has been developing nicely. The two sns smell quite different one sweet grape, the taller one and one really sour the short one. Cheesy is 10 days behind and is an odd shape. At the first internode site , it put one stem out on one side and two stem out directly opposite. I am happy enough the big greedy sns which is the ripest will get some extra iguana juice and another dose of pk booster this week.

Considering removing a few fan leaves to allow more light penetration to the lower branches. 10/05 (Day 23): No watering today — pots still heavy and moist. The tips of new leaves are showing a very light green to yellowish color. Planning to start micronutrient supplementation directly in the nutrient solution in two days. Plants continue stretching rapidly; one grew 4 cm in the last 24 hours. Roots are now protruding through the fabric pots, indicating full root colonization. 10/06 (Day 24): Pistils visible on all plants — flowering will begin next week 🌸. Tried increasing light intensity to 20k lux, but plants showed stress, so it was reduced again. Still not obtaining reliable results with the lux meter, so I’ve ordered a PAR meter to better control light levels. Watered with 1 L of the same solution as Day 22. Runoff EC rising slightly to 750, pH stable at 7.0. Week 3 Summary — End of Vegetative Stage Strong vegetative finish: vertical growth continued steadily, some plants growing 4 cm in 24 h. Root zone fully colonized — roots visible through the fabric pots. All plants showing pistils → clear sign of transition to flowering. Light management tricky this week; stress appeared above 20k lux. PAR meter ordered for better control. Nutrient mix stable at EC 1300 (2.5 CalMag + 1.4 A/B). Deeper Underground discontinued. Runoff EC ~ 700–750, pH ~ 7.0 → substrate still buffered high, but plants adapting well. 🌼 ➡️ Plan for Week 4 – Flowering Week 1 Nutrients: Transition feed: keep CalMag at 2.0–2.5 ml/L, A/B around 1.4–1.6 ml/L. Introduce bloom additives gradually (PK boosters or bloom A/B if applicable). pH: Keep irrigation at 5.6–5.7 to slowly bring substrate down from 7.0. So I made a harvest for the 70th day of life of these plants, exactly 10 weeks. When I harvested, I had to move the inflorescences to another place to dry. I put their Bank and Packed in several layers of garbage bag and tightly sealed it with sticky tape. When I came home, I dried the inflorescences, and I prefer to separate the inflorescences from the large branches, and the inflorescences themselves slightly pressed to make them easier to store and they do not crumble during transportation. So the inflorescences are obtained dense and hard as a tree, but do not lose their smell and taste, but the inflorescence should be compressed very gently and gently for several days as they dry. So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.
