Wasn’t planning on popping this seed but it feels wrong leaving an empty space in the tent so I thought why not, never done OG Kush before so I need to know if I’m missing out. Strain: The OG#18 - Reserva Privada Nutrients: Mills Nutrients Medium: DNA x Mills Coco & Cork 22/02/19 - this bean germinated so fast it was unreal at least 1/2” tail within 24hrs of just being in the water & after 48hrs it was at an inch but twisted around itself but it did break through over night but again also has the wax holding the leaves together but over sprayed with ph’ed water.

Topped the plant on Friday and started 12/12 cycle.

This grow went well overall. No herming. No nutrient deficiencys. Can't complain there. However the bud structure wasn't there. And the smell isn't of strawberry sugar or at least during the grow. It's mostly gas with a little sweetness. No real strawberry so far.

********* Week 11 - February 17 to 23, 2020 (**Days 71 to 77 from head coming out of medium**) Well another week has come and gone and she is still going💪😃 This was week of not too much to report as well as it is basically just keeping her medium wet, light low, and let her ripen😃 We also started looking at trichomes closer this week🧐🧐 Her frost really developed this week and has turned to primarily all cloudy. Took most of the week to get there. Tops are starting to show more amber in the buds and the lowers still show a number of clear.......didn’t want to rush her and let her go at her own pace. She is going to be running close to 80 days and expect that to be harvest day. She took some time but the leaves are light on Sunday and trichrome colour was a good balance. Removed any unnecessary LST tie downs. She has really started to “pull-in” on herself with the long branches she has grown. They have also gotten really purple over the last two weeks. Discovered another problem with the darn pH pen this week and it was out by 5 full points. This also explains some of the unusual things I have seen and thoughts of her possibly being a little slow the prior week. It had been 4 weeks since last calibration so it wasn’t out that long but long enough. This girl weathered that curve ball pretty good💪🙏 She went into darkness on Sunday Feb 23rd for roughly 48 hours. Harvest day is around the corner😛 Goal of a two week flush is being achieved......should be smooth smoke!! Will see what using Green Planet’s Liquid Weight all the way to the end will do as well. Again, this girl has been a surprise from the start with her vigour, beautiful leaves in early veg, and awesome bud to leaf ratio in late flower. She has taken pH and nutrient swings in stride. We had some PK issues late in veg and didn’t fully recover from it before flower set in but the narrow leaves have left for an easy trim job👍 Not rushing her so far has allowed her frost to come on strong and she should have a healthy THC percentage!! I have revisited the list of other diaries for this strain and there aren’t many to go by for comparison but this girl seems to be in there with the other top producers......time will tell. Awesome job Sweet Seeds🙏 More detail: Feb 17/20 - Day 71 - nothing for feed today. - SWELLING last night :) Feb 18/20 - Day 72 - 3L water with Rezin & Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 80ppm and 5.8pH. - Moved her under the HLG light today. - Buds are getting dense and hardening towards the tops. Feb 19/20 - Day 73 - 2L water with Rezin & LW8 = 80ppm and 6.1pH. - still waiting on further ripening of lower trichomes but she is getting close. Feb 20/20 - Day 74 - 2L water with Rezin @2ml and LW8 @1.5ml = 80ppm and 5.9pH Feb 21/20 - Day 75 - Nothing today. Dry out. - she will be done in days from now. Into darkness this weekend at some point. Feb 22/20 - Day 76 - 2L water with Rezin and LW8 @ 1.5ml/L = 80ppm and 5.9pH. - review trichomes again today. - one more day. Start week 7

Ok. On flower day 47 started flush. Ended up using 5gallons to bring her down from 800ppm to about mid 500ppm. Will use RO water next flush dirt better results. Recent tricomes pics shows milky clear with a hint of Amber.... This sample came from 5" down the canopy. Also the has been an emergence of new white pistils at the top colas. On day 52 she was given ice at her roots.

I experimented with this as it was a free seed and I wanted to see what would happen if I removed any additional nodes and just kept focus on the man node/ cola. She weighed in a solid ounce dry maybe less give or take a few days of curing/ drying. Smoked really nice and packed a punch which kinda made me regret using this beautiful strain in my experiment as I would have loved more from her but at the same time she taught me a lot with regards to nutrient levels and how plants react depending on which way they're trained or defoliated which has really helped me with future grows so for that I will certainly be running this strain again! Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. First day of chop! and my dry room stinks like fresh wild garlic. I think she's around 500-750 grams in weight, i don't own big scales so couldn't really check. The grow could of been better but around week 5 I had a serious accident so I've had my friend look after my girls so couldn't really train and take off useless popcorn so she looks very airy to me but packed in crystal. I'll update once dry.

I am trying a new format for the weekly summary portion of my diary. Let me know what ya'll think! 👃 AROMA: Her aroma is fairly strong for this stage of flower. Blueberry dankness all the way! I look forward to experiencing the evolution of her terpine profile. One of my favorite aspects of growing cannabis is how much these plants change from start to finish and how much variation is possible with this plant. ❇️ BUD STRUCTURE: She is stacking on big round mounds of calyxes and looks like she is going to have large dense buds! 🎨 Color: She is a lighter almost an olive shade of green, right now. Her bright white pistils have a distinctive yellow hue to them. 🌿 STEM, STRETCH, & INTERNODES: She stretched more than I had expected. She has thick stems and relatively tight internodal growth. She definitely looks Indica in her bud structure. ✂️ TRAINING/PRUNING: I have continued selective defoliation as needed to avoid crowding herself and her neighbors. I remove no more than 25% of foliage at any one time, and usually closer 10-15%. I space out defoliation with a minimum of 3 days between sessions, in most instances. There will be exceptions to that, but this is a good rule of thumb I try to adhere to. She has been trained to have 6 main shoots and I am using LST techniques to gently bend her stems to evenly fill her space without overcrowding. ❄️TRICHOMES/RESIN PRODUCTION: Her buds are already starting to sparkle amd glisten. It looks like she will be a good resin producer! 🚿 WATER/FEED: I have continued with a light bidiurnal misting of White Dutch Clover cover crop . This in conjunction with running lower temps (New AC) has seemed to have drastically increased feeding intervals. My plants are needing much less water than in previous runs. I typically give the whole SOG one feed per week with light watering of select individual cultivars as needed between feeds. I try my best to "read" my garden. The amount of water between feeds depends on how soon the next feed will be. I feed the garden as a whole and this run I have been generally spacing feeds out 5-7 days or until the the first plant shows beginning signs of wilt (slight droop of lower fan leaves). 📝 OBSERVATION/NOTES: She doesnt appear to have any signs of deficiency or toxicity. I was going to install a second trellis net, but decided to just use the single net and do some HST on her to keep her canopy opened up. 6/13- I gave the GG4 Sherbet FF a good watering today at sundown via the garden hose with straight well water. I am planning on top dressing her in roughly 7-10 days from now with a blend of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with some worm castings in anticipation of the start of flowering in the near future. There's another week chalked up and it won't be long until the real excitment begins when this lady begins to go into flower! 3/21: That last quarter-strength nutrient feeding seems to have taken well. Amnesia is bulking up slowly, and isn't letting go of as many dead leaves today. I am removing any crispy leaves I can find from Trainwreck as well. She isn't letting go of any leaves like Amnesia is, they're just ugly as sin. Oh well, they're doing their job. I am keeping the humidity to match the current temperature according to the VPD charts, like every week, so I haven't been lowering the humidity over time because of the heat in the tent. 3/22: Leaves are looking greener today. Just keeping an eye out for any loose leaves ready to be removed from either plant. Not many so far today.
