The small one is almost done prob get chopped this weekend the bigger one needs another flush but they are both very frosty. Started the flush on most of these last week. Everything has been steady all around. Going to start taking them down a few at a time over the next week or 2 some will go longer than others so they'll come down 3 or 4 at a time. Going well. Think I may flip in the next week. Don't want the plants to become too unmanageable for my first crop. Really enjoying the learning process. Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Looking at getting some bubble hash processing equipment and a rosin press, my prefered consumption method from right at home. At this size what would an experienced grower expect in terms of yield? The strains seem hearty. And after 2 rainy days and a sunny one after them, here comes Harvest day !! 😎 THe plant was sorrounded by a lot of bugs , as you can appreciate in the photos, it was neccesary to clean up the material... Never done this before but watched a video of Jorge Cervantes where he was cleaning the buds with H202 THe concentration was 200-250 ml with 22l, and i used 6l of water with 50 ml of H202 at 3%.... After the bath, like 90 % of the bugs are gone.. Im happy with te results, the buds/flowers are nicely lined up at the same height, and the aroma is really nice,but im curing the weed a couple of months at least... Today rolled up one and the taste is sweet on the exhale with spicy tones in the mouth too, but a proper cure is needed until full flavor develops in my opinion :) Overall a nice experience, didnt expect that purple tones appearing in the end and didnt expect such intense smell too hahah really stinky plant.. She screams im here, dont care what you think about me hahaha It has been drying for 5 days as the buds werent too compact and didn took too much time to dry.. really easy to grow. Had some issues in the begging being underfed and low ph issues. But still grew through all the struggles. Wasnt the biggest yield but wasn't the biggest plant. So wasn't expecting truly much. The purple pheno gave me a zip and half about. The other green one gave me a zip dry. Both smell lovely and can't wait. Will come back next week or so to update smoke report. Also fixing to make cannabutter from some of this can not wait ^_^ . Will grow it again but in a bigger pot maybe.

Day 29 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Starting a new week with some exciting plans! 🌿 We've got about one more week before we transition the plants to the flowering phase. Just to recap last week's updates for those following along: We’ve named all the plants in both grows. This makes it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants. A SCROG net helps train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We’ve placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our second batch of plants, just like the first, has developed well and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Strain was easy to grow. Had some herms but since I only have 2 plants I was able to pinch the balls off. Buds have no seeds and are a strong smoke. Really hits the lungs.

D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

First i wait for it to grow 5-6 nodes then you top it at the 3rd node but cut it right below the 4th to leave a little stump of a stem left. This helps your plant prevent it from damaging its self when growing bigger in size. At this point im only giving 1 quart of water every 2 days. And im not wetting the entire 30gal pot, only about 7-8 inches away from the stem all the way around it. I would also like to add by saying the bottom 1/3 of my 30 gal pot is straight super soil (M3 supersoil) and the top 2/3 is a mix with the M3 supersoil and COCO LOCO from fox farms.

Well it's day 77 one looks ready and one looks like it could go a week or two but I dry in the same tent so if one goes down they both go down not sure what to do yet. But this will probably be the last post before harvest gonna give them a couple mare days I think. I got fast buds apple strudel seeds I'll be getting started as soon as this is done.

11/9: I fed them today. Started tapering off the One. Stopped giving Beastie Bloomz and started them on Cha Ching, plus the normal doses of silica, signal, and sweet & sticky.

Day 35 flowering: Hi all. We are well onto the flowering periods now amd all the girls are beginning to smell and throw out lots of trichromes . The appearance and colours are also really coming out now for the different phenos is clearly have running. I think i have 3 differing ones on close inspection. #1and 3 are the same but #2and 4 are noticably different so far. #2 has very tightly formed raggy looking style buds and 4 has really open spikey looking ones.They have slightly different node distances too which effects hownthey cluster up. The colour contrast is slightly different between them too. The aromas is a fruity sweet one mainly and is starting to come out . With approx 3 full weeks to go , things will hopefully get swelling up now and adding the weight too. Still only needing the minimum waterings it seems and the wet /dry cycle makes this a very simple grow. The strain has been simple to work with so far and well worth the effort. Sweet cheese is about a week behind the other girls and is forming up in her natural shape well thensides look measly compared to the trained ladies I am used to working with but her main has some serious potential now. I can see how her main will become the donkey dick that I see on normal grows done natural but sjebhas a lot of leaf to bud at this time , so let's see how it ends up. be safe and well folks. peace and love GGD.
