Commencing Week 7: day 43 on January 12th Today I left the dirty girls (I call them that because they are in soil 😋) out of the tent for their first time in their lives to hang out with some new girlfriends (my photoperiod s). They seem very happy to be hanging out with them 👍👍 The other day I took one of my personal photoperiod Crosses and pollinated one of the bottom flowers of the bloody skunk, hopefully seeds will be coming soon :-) Today I started thinking about how much longer they have left and it seems the bloody skunk is nearing the finish Line already. In the beginning of this diary I wanted to achieve the goal of getting some autoflower seeds by taking one of the syrup strains and cross breeding it but none of my syrups strains made it from seed for some reason. So now I'm thinking about taking the top bud off of bloody skunk in the next week or two and letting the rest of the plant go through rodelization so I may still achieve that goal. We shall see. Que hay de nuevo familia, os traigo la actualización de la semana de nuestras crazy cookies, increíble el tamaño que están alcanzando los centrales, hay que tener bastante cuidado con los nutrientes, si te pasas un poco te lo harán saber. Tienen un olor bastante peculiar, estas últimas semanas desarrollará todos sus terpenos. Ph seguimos controlándolo alrededor de 6.5 temperatura algo elevará y humedad perfecta por debajo de los 40%. No creo que tarden mucho en estar siguen engordando y formando esas flores, la semana que viene veremos cómo avanzan fumetillas.

Pfff, explicaros que estas green ak xL son una variedad bastante difícil de cultivar, los cambios ambientales le sientan fatal, y hay que tener cuidado con la alimentación ya que se Sobrefertiliza fácilmente así que ojo, eso por un lado. Por otro si eres un cultivador con varios años de experiencia y todo te sale bien, es probarla, porque el sabor de esta cepa compensa la dificultad de su cultivo. Thc hasta 18% , sativa predominante. Last week of the vegetation stage for the ladies. I added some urb to the nutrient mix and gave the plants two measuring spoons each of the bat guano as a top dress on 17/01/21. I defoliated the plants and flipped the switch to 12/12 on 17/01/21.

Amazing!!!!! a wonderful girl, she managed to keep herself so beautiful and strong :) she was not visited very often :) the house has a wonderful smell of tropical fruits :) Thanks to Dutch Passion for the opportunity :)

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We are gonna see what happens coming weeks with this strain. So far I am a bit disappointed and didn't expect this from this strain. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Back from a short trip and they’re looking great! Looking ahead to my schedule, it became apparent I was going to need to harvest sooner rather than later if I wanted to be at my house for the first week or drying. Trichs were about 50% milky and maybe 5% amber on average. I decided I’d be staging th harvest over a few days. I was going to try washing them prior to drying to make sure the pm is neutralized and because two of the outdoor ones are probably covered in city soot 🙃.

What's good fellow growmies and growmettes I hope your grows are coming along like mine 🤟🏾. Today marks week 7 over all and week 2 flowering. I have them on the same feeding schedule and the are flourishing. I planted some Broccoli on the 11th and it has sprouted. I will be observing and study the growing habits of the broccoli.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Used a thick moisture wrap plastic with UV protectors in its formula. Lets see what I can grow in them this year! m0use's haus of projects - garden box edition

Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Ya era hora de cosechar, estoy bastante contento con los resultados. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, y las flores se marcan aromas dulces y afrutados. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar y muy resistente, crecieron desde el principio bien vigorosas, sin problemas y al final de todo recompensó. Las condiciones ambiéntales han sido máximas en 25 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36% al final de floración y en el secado. We are here again at another edition of Spannabis

Day 21: First topping. Happy to removed the light-stressed part of the plant from the equation if only for cosmetic reasons. I waited for 5 nodes before the topping. Day 22: Godammit, the light failed again. Turned it off and waited for it to cool down. Turned it back on and it worked. Lost 1 hour of light. Day 23: Because of previous light stress and canopy temperature, I felt that 35cm is a good distance for the light. Day 25: First LST on the new growth tips. Started the mainline. Day 26: Again the light is failing to come on. I rewired once again, cursing my very existence, and it worked again. Again lost an hour of light in the morning. Continued refining the LST, and seeing how far I can push it. Noticed a slight tear at the base of one of the mains. Since the plant energy is coming from below and there is no noticeable affect on growth I'm going to ignore it. Checked the roots - look healthy. Though the new growth tips are not completely symmetrical, those leaves look good enough to eat. Trimmed the excess fan leaves. Topped up with a small amount of nutrients. Day 27: light didn't come on again. I rewired again, but this time it was stone cold refusing to do anything. Again I cursed my existence and all of life. Returned to grow store, turns out bulb was defective after all. Again lost 4 hours of light. But at least now I know the problem is solved. Rene at the grow store is a champ though, very helpful guy. The new bulb is noticeably brighter also. Maybe this was affecting growth? Also once this issue was fixed, I noticed some small amount of nutrient burn on the leaves tips. Rebalanced nutrients. Was 1.9 mS/m lowered to 1.65 mS/m, then to 1.48 mS/m. Must be more careful in future when upping the dosage but the water conductivity is now less than before (1.55 mS/m) so this should be ok. Also lowered pH of water slightly since it was 6.0. It's currently showing 5.2 but experience has taught me that this measurement will comfortably go back up to 5.7. water pH is seemingly constantly rising as the plant grows, and adjusting pH is really more art than science. (Edit: It was 5.7 the next morning, so ya ... )
