Great plant man I am loving her she is growing like a champ even after all i put her thru and snapped one of her colas but all good she bounced back like nothing happened will be growing more Fast Bud strains

She has just started to flower. No nutes super soil living soil still going strong. So I fed her when I should t have. And stunted her a bit. But i think she’s coming back nicely.

Blueberry Muffin was also chopped on day 64. It never seemed to take off and was the smallest and weakest in the tent. Honestly it was out of frame in so many pictures just because it was embarrassingly small. The terps never really became the Blueberry Muffin that was promised. At most, there is a sweet cedar hardwood spice smell, kind of like men's cologne, on top of a classic dank weedy taste. There's a hint of something like pastry crust when I smell it in the bag. It does kind of remind me of a classic well rounded smoke from decades ago. One friend even preferred this strain over the others in the grow due to the simple classic flavor... not me though, I rank this 3rd out of the 3 harvests so far. It was tiny and so was the yield, with the official weight coming in at 20g. It was truthfully a little less on the scale but I also tested more than a gram, so I'm calling it an even 20. I'll definitely try this again sometime, I support HSC and think they have quality genetics, I don't want this to sour my perception of them.

When the other 3 pkants have caught up with the growth, the suppercropped branch is straitened back and a soft twist tie. 21/4/2021 - I'll be away for few days. So I decided to go back Autopot for the few days I wont be around. I think it should be fine. Once I'm back, I'll go back to top feed and fertigate enough to have significant run off to wash off all the salt build up. 10 gallon of water mixed with the following - Cal Mag - 3ml/Gal - 30ml Micro - 2.5ml/Gal - 25ml Gro - 2.5ml/Gal - 25ml Bloom - 3ml/Gal - 30ml pH - 6.28 EC - 1.12 mS/cm T - 25 22/4/2021 - the Autopot idea didn't work out. The new tubing I got was 1mm bigger than its supposed to be. And thus caused leakage at all the connections. Well back to top watering then. But the plants won't be watered for two nights. I really hope they'll be able to hold on till I come back.

The seeds were planted three days after the paper towel and the first one grew out of soil the same day.That seed was planted with its first leaves(cotyledons).

Somehow I miscalculated the days and started week 6 prematurely. I will just continue here thru to week 7 Day 32 From Seed NYD#2 Started LST. Pot was light, watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. NYD#3 The pony tail backfired. The main is mangled. Despite small nodes, I started LST and watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. Day 33 From Seed Did some research and found out the ponytail should only be used during the light cycle and removed for the dark period. I left it on, which caused the ugly. Lesson learned! Day34 Adjusted and added LST. Watered #2 at 6.5. #3 was still heavy, no water needed. Day 37 Watered, adjusted LST Day 39 From Seed Watered, adjusted LST. Found a bug that isn't a fungus gnats (NYD#3). Inspected both plants for more. Did a neem oil top drench and added Vicks Vapor Rub to the pot rims (bug deterrent). So raised light roughly 4 inches. Day 41 Light watering, adjusted LST ties, top drenched with Neem Oil. Added a few ounces of peroxide to the humidifier. They'll both need a top dress soon.

Welcome back to growfessor theatre! Week 4F begins in the 4x4. Heavy defoliation performed on the Mandarin dreams and Do-si-dos, Green Crack and LSD got a light defoliation. LSD had the most yellowing, she seems to be the hungriest for nutrients. Not much else to report, the ladies are happy, healthy and bud is developing nicely! A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow.. Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..

the girls gain 1cm a day :) they are still quite vigorous, quite green; I expect another week of stretch before they concentrate on the buds. maximum dose of alga bloom, green sensation and sugar royal. my whole tent is occupied by the canopy; would a little defoliation be necessary? i'll take any advice :) One small thing: look at the 2 last pics, it looks like a "twin head", I've never seen that before EDIT : finally defoliated them next morning (see last pic), they now breathe again :) EDIT 2 : a small research on web & i got my response : "twin head" = polyploïd cannabis

I'm glad that this grow is slowly coming to an end. There are currently 2x Sherbelato Cake and 1x Ayahausca Purple & 1x Candy Bubatz in the Tent. Next time I will only grow in water.

Hey everyone, It is going to be my second grow, this time I received 3-3 Ayahuasca Purps, and Peyote Critical from Barney's Farm. SO excited for these ladies!!! 2019-02-12: planted the seeds in coco pellets. I hope I will receive my tent tomorrow, so I can start working on it, and moving the girls in as soon as possible. UPDATE on week1: it took only 2 days for them to pop!!! 100% Germination rate, 6/6 popped, although I'll only keep 5 . About 3weeks left.. No problems after Nitrogen and some P deficiencies.. As a new grower best things I have picked up is not be afraid to make mistakes do tons of research and testing nutrients on a separate dummy plant, have fun patience and learn everyday.

Hi everyone ☺️. Today the New Aeroponic Diary begins, as before with the wonderful variety Gelato from Zamnesia . This time I planned to leave the full 8 cuttings instead of 3 as in the last run. For test purposes I would like to give a very short vegi time this time. To be precise, I would like to switch them to flowering a few days after rooting. Since the growth is extremely extreme on Aero, I think that a few days will be enough to get 8 little trees 😋. Of course everything is documented and uploaded. Today the cuttings were cut, brushed with clone gel and placed in the aero system 😃. Of course, the entire system was cleaned very time-consuming with disinfectant after the last run, and all seals, pumps, etc. were checked for their function, so that the new run could start today 👌👍. Ich habe diese Woche mit dem entlauben angefangen. Und am zweiten Tag habe ich sie getoppt, beim versuchen mit low stress Training ist mir die Spitze abgebrochen. Passt war nur zu früh. Ich frage mich Ob es sinn macht den unteren Abzweig vom Seitentrieb auch abzunehmen da er so gewachsen ist das ja auch kein Licht abbekommt.
