Day 15 - She is still wanting light but gonna leave it at 11" cause she is taking off like a rocket. Sorry for the crappy pic. Day 16 - She is growing, little worried the stem is not going to hold her up for long she is growing so fast, kinda worried there. Gave a bit of silica/calmag (maybe 1 oz at the ratio in my diary) then about 4oz of water.. Day 17 - She is blowing up! Hard to see in pics but she is getting bigger! I was worried the purple light is what threw my DFL into flower if that was closest to that LED . I tried to quarantine her 600w more purple Light off of my DLF.... Day 18 - Still looking good, gave about 2 oz of calmag/silicia solution and spritzed with water Day 19 - Was a little dry so watered and spritzed leaves with water. Growth underneath is picking up. She is still growing so I am happy. Trying to keep Air temp up above 75F Day 20 - It is getting thicker and bigger. Not growing much taller but getting bushier it seems. Spritzed leaves with water. Day 21 - Undergrowth seems to be growing, not getting much taller but is getting a bit thicker... Spritzed leaves with water.

Smells like coconut and is a great mix of combos that was added to this plant .

-the week of two in bloom and Only was fed with empty water. -the frist defoliation in flowering stage

Green Gelato coming along nice and steady, loads of bud development since last week and still 4 days left of this week. Looking to start flushing in the next 4 days. Will see by day 56. She's smelling beautifully, can really smell a sweet fruity apricot/orange aroma which to me would be the sunset sherbet lineage in her but terps are still developing and changing so we will see. Blue Cheese, smelling pungent, nice sweet musky smell.. Can definitely tell it's cheese. Day 52 today, started her flush on day 50 and will take her to at least day 64/65 giving her a 14/15 day flush, maybe longer but i'll see. Slight nute burn that i'm aware of but nothing overly major, doing really well otherwise. Can't wait to try this one. Thanks for following along people. Stay tuned

09/20/2018 Today's the day we flip to 12-12 and full strength nutes, roots have filled in nicely,and she is growing,I fear if I don't flower now she may get to big for my tent, I'm hoping that she only stretches 1.5-2 x,but if she got the sweet pink grapefruit genes it could be a 3x stretch that I hoped for. But we will see .let the magic begin! 09/24/2018 Supercropping, and scrog day 4 after flip stretched,4-6" ,canopy will fill out quickly. The 9fingered leaves i am guessing are from grapefruit genes,as I have not previously had more than 7 fingered leaves on Captains Cake,Star Cookie,or Mystery Cookie plants. Might get nice stretch from their offspring,, which is partly why I chose these plants to Breed improve the stretch of Captains Cake as she didn't stretch much after 12-12 flip. Time will tell whether or not it worked.

Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! After several days of deep research on the internet, I decided to get myself a small set up (24x24x48 inch tent) to grow cannabis indoor, if this works I will definitely get a bigger setup. NYC Diesel Auto, two girls who sprouted beautifully after using the cup of water and paper towel method. Now I have them on a lightly mixed soil on solo cups (500ml) under a 600W LED light. I am using 1/4 tsp/gal of FloraGro and Micro for now. Using the trio of nutrients from General Hydroponics, FloraGro, Micro and Bloom. Day 2 and one of the two have broken the soil, the other one is MIA...Update: Both girls are out and about! Day 3 to 5 - both girls are coming along just fine. If anyone with more expertise has an explanation for my little girl whos coming along much slower than her big sis, please let me know!! All tips and advice from experienced growers are welcomed!

Ok so getting a bit concerned. I'm trying to keep nutrients low, but am noticing spotting on some other leaves and some of the white pistils lower down are growing in brown instead of white. Spotting on at least one of the plants has gotten to the degree I've trimmed it a bit and the lower leaves look fine. Please let me know if you see an issue with any of the above pictures / advice. - Update: Ok looks like I have a bit of light burn and possibly some nutrient issues as well. Have been adding more cal mag. Trying to water a bit less than was as may not have been letting the coco dry out enough. And I have moved my LED lights as far up as is possible currently to try and see how it goes, not sure If I've mucked this up or will still get a decent harvest. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Even split open a stem where I had to remove a leaf earlier and had a look inside just to be sure. There are lots of little circle type globs on the leaves, but I take it this is trichomes and not eggs.
