The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. Welcome to week 6. Day 36: Took off a few fan leaves today and gave water only. Day 37: Height 28cm Day 39: Fertigated with an extra strong mix, I'm going to up the nutes now until I find her maximal tolerance, she is starving. Day 40: Still starving. I'm keeping her constantly topped up with quite high strength nutes but it's not enough. I think 200ml may have been an overly generous estimation of her root space volume. Day 41: I knew this would be a challenge but it is proving more difficult than I expected. I hope the effort is worth it! At least so far I have learned more about autoflower flowering triggers with this grow. Day 42: in trying to get enough food in to her I have nute shocked. Need to somehow flush and hope for the best. I may have dealt her a fatal blow. Alright so to end up this week I have flushed the ever loving crap out of this lady. I've burned her with too much nutes, I didn't think it was possible but I went really over the top. So I have used a combination of a straw and 2l of PH corrected water and a lot of time and patience to repeatedly saturate and then upend and allow to drip out (with the aid of blowing bubbles in there with the straw). Eventually the run off stopped being dark brown. Then much later it became clear. I do not know if I can save this plant now I have really hurt her she looks in BAAAAD shape. Let us see what happens over the next week. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week.

Day 42 - Kinda crazy how fast it's gotten to be day 42 (the meaning of life - *) in the grow. Haven't watered yet. Plan on doing that with the above nutrient schedule tomorrow or the day after. And I think that might be the last time I give any nutrients to the plant. Pistils are beginning to curl, and I've seen (just a few) amber tirchomes on one bud. I want to harvest on the earlier side because I don't want this harvest to have a big couch-lock effect. Prefer a more cerebral high, although some bodily relaxation is nice too. So I think I will be harvesting at the latest by April 10th (Day 56). Of course I will continue to watch how the plant develops and if no further trichomes are turning yellow/brown in a week, I'll wait longer. The trichomes on the sugar leaves have a wonderful lemon citrus smell by the way. Not what I was expecting, but that's fine 😛 Day 45 - Made a video of the trichomes. They definitely look cloudy enough to me. No more nutes for sure, harvest in 10 days max I think.

11/30 Starting the week a day early have things to do tomorrow. Fed @6.5PH 1 gal w/ 15ml Bio-Bloom 5ml Bio-Grow 5ml Fish Sh!t The new bud explosion after the Recharge encouraged us to feed heavier than we would, seems to be working. Either way this is the week. Giving her a couple more days she what she can do. 12/3 Harvest day tomorrow and her great adventure ends

First week outdoors and the girls are just loving the fresh air and sunshine! Have been bringing them into solarium at night because we are still hitting 1°-2° some nights, and the solarium only gets down to 14°. Warm nights (>12°) should be here to stay in the next few days, will have them grounded then. Soil pickup and pot preparation today. I get my soil from a local landscape material yard. They do a great "garden mix", has good drainage and very healthy soil. Plants always seem to love it, and at $45 a yard it's so much cheaper than bagged soil. Also today is the day I pick my two of the litter before the other two go to their homes at my in-laws place. Probably take the black pots, all four girls look so good might as well take a tall and a short see which does best! Plants were topped Day 29 from seed and recovered well, quite noticable thickening of the main stem, and by end of week about 1" new growth on tops.

She looks good. 2 gallon pot is 100% rooted completely out! No real smell just smells green!

Going good 1 or 2 more weeks

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. We are coming up on the last week of these girls based on time from flower and trich ripeness. I will not feed them again as there is more than enough in the soil for them to finish. I will dry them in the room then clean and reset it for a no till living soil in 10 gal pots. Also upgraded the saucers to heavy duty plastic ones. Something I can lift even full of liquid.
