We decided on Pineapple Express (by Grower's Choice) as our summer strain this year, we veg anything going outside under 16hrs ..We only get 15hrs at peak light(Far North/East, Canadian border) and this prevents any pre-flowering and possible revegging downtime. We're going to flower 4 plants indoors ASAP (to ensure we don't run out )and bring 3 out to the field in about 2-2.5 months...

September 25, 2021 Tons of growth this week. Its fun looking back at the pictures from a week ago compared to today, what a good week for these girls! They tripped in size in just a few days. The main stem on both plants is thick and strong. And I'm seeing significant signs of pre-flowering, especially with the Dinafem Critical+. That's super fast IMO. 4 weeks from seed to the start of flowering, 3 weeks from seedling. 👊 Fast Buds Blackberry is shorter but much stockier, with nice fat leaves. Definitely indica dominant. She hasn't started showing any purple yet, but that should start to develop in the flowering phase. I'm starting to see some pistols develop, but not as many as the Critical+. Its going to be exciting to watch both of these ladies through the flowering process. The Coast of Maine Stonington Blend is treating the girls very well, I'm very happy with the results so far. It is a little hot, I do see slight signs of nutrient burn on some leaf tips and also notice what looks like nitrogen toxicity on the tops. Nothing major, but it shows me there is still plenty of nutrition available in the soil. So far, this has been a water only grow, with a little Recharge once in a while. If they do start showing signs of nutrient deficiencies I'll start feeding them, but I'm very curious if they can make it from seed to harvest with only the nutrients available in the soil. A lot has happened this week. After I watered the nettle manure, some of the leaves turned a little yellow. There seems to have been enough nitrogen left in the soil, so this week there was only pure water. Unfortunately, my supply of rainwater is pretty empty, so I topped up the tank with tap water. After I noticed that the roots were already coming out of the drainage holes, I thought it was time for another repotting. As you can see, the roots have spread well. This time the plant will be planted in the 55-litre end pot. I'm using a fabric pot from the brand Gronest. The soil is the same as for the first repotting. Here is the nutrient profile again. Floragard TKS 2 N 210 mg/L - P 240 mg/L - K 270 mg/L - Mg 70 mg/L - S 150mg/L After repotting, I defoliated the plant a little and attached plant hooks. I have looked for inspiration on the Internet and am trying to build up a good basic structure. As the pot size has changed, the watering quantity also had to be increased. I tried 8 litres this time every 2 to 3 days and nothing leaked out at the bottom. The weather was better again this week. The daytime temperatures fluctuate between 17 and 22 degrees. I'm happy with the weather so far, but it could still get a bit warmer. Especially at night.

January 20th: The trichomes on pheno#1 (purple) are about 60% cloudy / 40% clear. The trichomes on pheno#2 (smaller plant) are about 50%/50% cloudy/clear. The trichomes on pheno#3 are around half/half, as well. I might be harvesting them in the next few weeks, depending on how everything goes. Light intensity: 75%

Outdoors........time passes slowly.... Tropical weather here, this week. Hot morning, evening storms , cooler nights, high humidity, wind. What else? No problems to report, fantastic grow, girls full of life. Lots of work to bend and rearrange plant's shape every day, sometimes twice a day. Defoliation. Plant is responding fantastically. Pineapple Kush is a monster, she has almost 20 big branches, every single branch is big as an indoor plant. I've growth 30 strains in my life but I never seen a plant with a such LTS attitude. You bend her, she responds quickly, you bend her again? She responds faster. Little bit late on flowering.

Fast Buds Cream Cookies growing strong, nice bud site development! The leaves are more yellowish than I would prefer. I was not checking PH previously and started checking the PH this week. My well water comes out of the tap around 7.3-7.4, which is a bit higher than most recommend. This week I PH'ed down to 6.3 and fed her Recharge only. Hope to see some more green coming back over the next few days.

D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 125PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7.1 and 260PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 250PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 46% light ON ; 46-48% light OFF D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 45% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

Hey growers another week gone for my critical purple and pineapple auto grow! So as you may have noticed I finally got to hit the flower side of the diary even though my critical purple #2 has already been in flower 3 weeks! But all four of my ladies have now entered into 🌸 so that's why I waited till now to hit flower weeks of diary. So not a lot of changes this week besides all transitioning into flower. I did install an additional light so I'm now running a Viparspectra vs1000 and x2 philizon 600w led for a grand total of 2200w of fun in the sun 🌞. Since I added this extra light on Tuesday the smell has increased tremendously! My favorite part of the day is coming home and opening this tent enough to see my tent settings and to stick my big ass nose in to get a big old wiff of heaven! So enough of my rambling let's get down to business! 10/7/2021- 5ml cal mag 2ml micro .5ml gro 2ml bloom 3/4ml ph down Ph 5.9 Ppm 744 Solution temp 73.2F 10/10/21- Water Ph 6.1 Ppm 180 Solution temp 72.7°F 10/10/21- Pineapple auto #1 tried to remove tape and resnapped branch. 10/12/21- Installed an additional philizon 600w light for flower. 10/13/21- Water Ph 6.5 Ppm 180 Solution temp 73.2°F 10/14/2021- All four plants are 42 days old today!!! Critical purple #1- Guys I do have to say this lady is turning out to be something special! She stayed in veg until she was ready and boom here she goes! Really did some growing and transitioning this week or atleast I think she did! With this being said....(drumroll) This is my 🌟 of the week!!!! 💚💚👏👏👏 Critical purple #2- I do believe this is the culprit to my heavenly welcome to my grow home aroma that she blesses me with every day! She is starting to pack it on hard-core she is filling in lovely. So with adding the new light it gave me the opportunity to move my viparspectra vs1000 over top of her giving her ample light. Wednesday didn't notice any difference. Got up this morning(thurs) after watering Wednesday night and opened the tent and checked her out and it looked like she was covered in frost! She was a beauty! So I'm 🤔 another 3-4 weeks and this girl will be ready or close. Pineapple auto #1- Didn't notice a lot of growth in this lady this week. Thinking she put her focus to transitioning. So I'm about to know if my boy @Papa_T is reading my diaries because he will prob send me a message after reading this!! So... I couldn't do it!! So on Sunday which was day 4 of my branch being taped she felt strong and solid so I tried to remove the tape and just my luck when I taped it somehow I managed to get sticky sides stuck together at start of tape job so it made it twice as hard to remove the tape therefore re-snapping the branch 😪🤮🤬 I was so mad at myself. So I asked Papa_T what I should do and he said cut it off to prevent a risk of fungus so I grabbed my snips opened the tent and noticed that the plant had entered 🌼 that day. Looking at the branch I was about to cut 3 potential bud sights off i couldn't do it! So I taped her back up a little looser this go around and used a wire tie on scrog net to add extra support. I do plan to try to remove the tape Sunday making it a whole week this go around if it Snaps again it's gone! Pineapple auto #2- Not a lot to say here this girl speaks for herself! She has decided she wanted as much space as she could get! I am starting to notice a possible nitrogen deficiency as some of my lower leaves are yellowing and some have even fallen off! But she also has only had one feeding this week and two waterings.
