two week behind on this journal haha

Another good week!! I defoliated the smaller of the 2 plants mid-week... I think she is doing very fine. A small hiccup with the feed that same night. Only a few leaves are showing any sign on nutrient burn. I went ahead and fed them again today. I plan on watering them in a day or two... they were very thirsty this afternoon!! So, I definitely need to up the watering. I've still been feeding 3 quarts twice a week. Otherwise, all seems to be going well!! They are frosting up very nicely!! So exciting!! Peace!! Update for grow question: @The8thChevron thanks!!! I pulled them and will hope for the best for now. So close to the finish line. If I see more trouble brewing I will pull the plant. I don't know how to answer directly to you on the grow question.... Thanks again!!

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Ciao a tutti, il giorno 65 ho sostituito tutta la soluzione dei vasi. Dopo aver tirato via tutto ho aggiunto 20 litri d'acqua di rubinetto con 2ml/l di flora kleen (GHE). Non ho aggiustato il pH (che nella mia zona è superiore al 7.5 per l'acqua di rubinetto) tanto non ci sono sali disciolti da assorbire. Tra pochi giorni ci sarà la raccolta, sarà un'impresa pulire tutte quelle cime... PS le foto scattate il giorno 66 sono state fatte con un altro telefono

First week under the Lumatek 600 Pro set to 50% and aporox 40cm away from canopy. Day 7 applied some pruning and supercropped the few taller girls to even out the canopy. I will add a CO2 bag next week as i increase the power to avoid potential light stress.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Day 43 - Commence the flowering! Flower sights are becoming clear now, with lots of pistils appearing along the top of branches. Watered with 1.5L with a run off of 120ml(8%). Day 44 - Watered with 1.6L today. Run off of 200ml(12.5%). Day 45 - She's getting thirstier again. Watered with 1.6L with run off of only 65ml (4%). Can really see the height gain by the day... Hoping the tent will be tall enough. Day 46 - Watered with 1.8L today with run off of 100ml(5.5%). Had a few warmer days outside causing more water evaporation. Will move to 2L soon if run off stays low. Day 47 - Watered with 2L with run off of 260ml (13%). Flower sites really starting to stretch out now. Day 48 - Watered with 2L run off of 260ml(13%). Will continue to water with 2L and only note when changes are required. 2L seems to be the sweet spot for this week. Day 49 - That brings us to the end of Week 7 and the first week of flower. Bud sites are now really established - I'll be increasing nutrients to 1.5ml/L for Advanced Nutrients and 0.75ml/L on CalMag. Total growth of 12cm this week compared to the usual 7cm over the last couple of weeks. An extra 5cm of growth can be attributed to pre-flower stretching.

21/07 Soweit geht es der kleinen ganz gut. Ich habe sie ordentlich entlaubt, da Ihre Blätter die kleinen Triebe verdeckt haben. Einen Tag später sieht sie zwar etwas Kahl aus, aber sie stellt die kleinen Triebe Richtung Licht. Sie ist jetzt mit 2 Podien und 4 Trieben - 8 Trieben - 16 Trieben getoppt worden. Leider haben sich Trauermücken im Livingsoil eingenistet, diese wurden aber schon mit Nematoden und Gelbtafeln bekämpft und sollten in der nächsten Zeit weniger werden.

Wedding Cake Autoflower 🎂 🎂 🎂 Llegamos a la 8ª Semana 👨‍🌾🏽 de cultivo de las 3 Wedding Cake Auto. En primer lugar, el tamaño de las flores van aumentando gracias a "Bloom Fantastic de Original" y a la buena dosis de nutrientes. La más pequeña se esta quedando atras pero su tallo central y una de sus colas siguen creciendo pero sin florecer "miedo me da jajajaja" En el próximo cultivo, debido a mi espacio solo cultivare 2. En algunas fases del cultivo me las he deseado, incluso para regar.

Yeah well this orange cookie is a beast , stretched like a beast and full of bud sites she’s smashing thru her feeds and loving the Plagron feed you could fill a 4x4 with just this girl . I have some exciting times coming up hopefully she’s nearing end of stretch coz it’s getting crowded . I can see this one yielding a pound the way she’s going . Cheers Dutch fem and Plagron

New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! Flushed with PH'd water (4.5L) to bring EC run off from 2.2 down to 1.9. Time for another retuck! This should be the last veg mix before transfering Cindy to the flower tent 😎 UPDATE: Timelapse added for this week.
