Soaked Seeds for an hour, then popped into saturated soil. Placed the seed pots into my propagator under Sunblaster LEDs. I will move these to a naff veg light I have and slowly grow them with light feed until my main tent is clear again. They will then go under the TS1000 and I'm going to SCROG this time round. I'll likely take cuttings and mother this strain. They took 2 days to show first signs of pushing through. By 3rd day they were both upright.
I'm keeping these seeds in the tank for now as I'm in no rush to get them growing big. I need my other tent space free and it's not the best veg light I have in this tent currently. My other tent with my Mars Hydro TS1000 should be free again in two weeks but I'll move them from the tank over the next few days and repot them when needed.
No nutes as of yet as the medium is still wet from germination. Once it's dry I'll start them on a weak dose of the Growth Accelerator and the Caribbean Algae Air & Soil from Madame Grow. I can't recommend these nutrients highly enough. These coupled with Mars Hydro LEDs have transformed my grows.
I'll repot these as and when needed, but as mentioned above. In no hurry with these girls. Slow and steady.
I gave these girls a feed at 2.5ml of both Algae and growth accelerator after potting up 4 days ago. Fed again today at the listed Nutrients. I will likely pot these up again tomorrow or the day after as they are showing thick roots out of the bottom already. I've always had good results with the Growth Accelerator by Madame Grow but this is the first time using the Caribbean Algae Soil & Air and it's seemed to boost the growth even more! I had to go away for a day and night and was not expecting the growth I've returned to! Pretty much doubled in size in 2 days.
I'll top these girls in a day or so ready for the LST to start. Gotta start training them ready for the scrog setup I'm going to use soon.
Had some crazy root growth this week and have put the girls in their final 11L pots already. They became rootbound in their last pots within 5 days of being potted up and started showing rootbound behaviour such as spots on leaves and droopy behaviour, also soil was drying out super fast. At first I was panicking about leaf septoria, had that before :/. Only when i checked the roots that I confirmed it was cos they were rootbound.
I'm hoping this isn't an issue within the grow bags. I've never really played around with potting up before as mainly grown autos until now.
Topped the girls a few days ago and have done some LST today to spread them ready for the scrog.
Thanks for following :)
The second pheno is defintiely overtaking the first. I'll be taking cuts from this girl!
Other than that they are growing well, final 11L pots now for a week. Lowered my SCROG 2 inches earlier today.
Accidentally topped one of these this week lol. Scrogging is weird but still holding out hopes. No idea if I'm doing it right but guess we'll see after I flip. Gonna flip next week as I'm guessing this will allow me to train through the scrog for two weeks into flowering and will fill it out nicely. The flower karma induction is 0.9g per litre and being fed as a foliar every other day.
Been advised to flip when 70% coverage is achieved so flipped yesterday. Gonna keep defloiating bud sites and will keep weaving for another two weeks. If I've judged right, I'll have full coverage by then.
The flower karma induction is 0.6g per litre and is applied as a foliar spray every few days.
Just done my last bit of weaving today and now I'm gonna let these girls grow out and start fattening. If I've judged right, the stretch should be just finishing but we'll see :P
Also, now my veg tent is my dry tent for a while, I didn't wanna waste the SP150 being unused so I've rigged it up next to the TS1000 for an extra boost for a couple of weeks.
budding up nicely now. One pheno looks to be growing different bud formations and is much more frosty. O stupidly didn't take a cut of this in veg so I've taken a flower cut to reveg and try monstercropping.
Starting fatten and frost up nice now. Not much else to report. 4 - 6 weeks remaining.
Added some photos of some clones I've grown in an aeropnic propagator as it's the same strain and looks cool xD
This is the first strain that when I touch the trichomes and sniff the sticky resin on fingers, it actually smells of the strain. Pure Cookie/Sorbet bliss. Fingers crossed I'm on to a winner of a pheno here!
Bit of nute burn appeared on just one of these phenos overnight. I think this is as this plant flowers longer than my nute charts so did a bit of experimenting. Wil dial it back a bit at this stage next grow to avoid this and have dialled back a bit now, moving forwards. It's not too bad and still seems localised to certain parts of just one plant so not gonna stress about it.
Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks.
Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more!
Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank.
Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time!
Also big shout out to my bro at NatureDelight.co.uk providing some awesome organics to add into the grow schedule. Used The Active Sugar Boost all through flower at 3ml per litre this run and I think the results speak for themselves. I cannot implore you guys enough to go check this stuff out. It's unique and you wont find better customer service.
Lots of vids and content this week as we all love bud shots <3
This strain has smelled dank from the moment her first crystals arrived, just like having a few oz GSC laying around. She's currently drying and there has been no grassy hay smell to cure off like usual. My dry room just stinks like Girl Scout Cookies
