Haven't seen too much calyx formation yet, just a lot of stretching. Waiting on the purple too🧐 I've been pruning out lower branches and leaves hanging close to the ground to help keep air flowing and humidity down, especially near her stalk.

Great week in growth. I started to use side led light and turning table, as on video. Now plant has light from top and all sides. Size of some leaves is XXL. Plant is not very fast in maturing, but very strong in structure.

Week 4 is in the books! I flushed this girl the other week and got her soil up from 5.2 to 6.0, but it looks like it's back down in the 5.5 range. I'm starting to notice some deficiencies pop up, so just waiting for my new water jug to come in the mail so I can give this girl a proper 3x flush (have only been able to flush with 3 gallons each time, which is definitely not helping my situation). Just want to get this girl under control so she can finish strong, and those buds can develop nicely. OH, and she's still been stretching, but as I finish up day 28 today, it looks like that may have stopped. I can only hope :)

Ciao a tutti! Come substrato ho usato BioBizz, 35% all mix - 65% light mix.

Howdy howdy howdy, What's good peeps!? Iv got some spare time these days so I figured I'd document my fun farm for anyone that wants to follow along 🤷‍♂️😎 Week 1 is nothing special. Took 8 trainwreck clones 6 days ago from 2 separate mums that are about to be flipped to 12/12 (4 from each). After 6 days they still look perfect so I'm hopeful all 8 will root nicely🤞🏻 Nothing special in how I took the clones. Cut, scrape, clonex dip then straight into tiny rock wool cubes. I'm a cheap cunt so I'm using 1l bottles as humidity domes, they work fantastically if you are wondering 😎👌🏻 You can see in the video the 2 mums they came from. I won't be doing a diary on them but I'll probably post pics of them here n there if people want to see how they are going 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, that's about all there is to say about it all atm. Tune in every Friday for my fun farm updates Or stop by the NO.1 cannabis channel on SENSE.CHAT 💚💚CannaChat💚💚 for some more dopey content by yours truly Double_oh 😁✌️🏻💚

The culmination of reversing our Matterhorn cut off Mr. Crowley to Intergalactic Runtz, and the results were out of this world (I had to do it). These ladies were slow to start, but once they hit their stride they put any worries we had to rest. Compact, short-framed, and robust. They pack beautifully boulder-like flowers that reek of garlic and sickly sweet cotton candy. Dark green to a mosaic of purples, yellows, and silvers. Frost production is off the charts, the internode spacing is tight, and they certainly will impress in their last few weeks of flower. This is one of our favorite crosses in the new fem lineup. If you're looking for your hype fix, here you go. Yield: Heavy to XL Flower Time: 63 days Feeding Schedule: Heavy

I watered her three times this week with 1.2 liters of rainwater, and on the last occasion, I did also provide it with nutrients. At the beginning of the week the runoff water indicates that the pH level might be a bit high as 7.1. At the end of the week I've managed to lower the pH of the water, and now it receives water with a pH of 5.8. The runoff was 1800-1900 ppm, and 7 ph, so I will continue to lower the ph, and adjust nutrients too. Overall, she seems to be doing well, and I have no complaints.

Oct 19: warm October continues and this plant will be harvested in a few days. Three days with snow starting 3 days from now so that’s it for the season. Drilled a couple of holes in the trunk. Idea is to stress the plant to spur trichome production. Did this before and not entirely sure it helps, but why not? Oct 20: these buds are getting stinkier and frostier just in time for the season here to end. Smell was quite noticeable this morning so I’ve bumped it up to Strong. All the buds are looking fairly frosty too so this Gelato is finishing strong. 👍👍 Oct 21: harvest day because in two days, Monday, it will be below zero all day and likely snow. Oh well, a longer than expected season allowed this gelato to finish fairly well. Trichomes are still white, and actually I rarely see amber trikes on my plants and I think that’s due the weak sunlight here in the fall. My best option here is to aim to harvest by the end of September. This plant was not billed as being fast flowering so I expected it to be a bit slow, plus it is a sativa pheno, so I feel lucky that it has finished as well as it did. The weather here was definitely good for cannabis this year with the only real hassle being wildfire smoke.

Day 29 fm seed/Week 1 flower: I did some LST/HST to the plants to try to even out the canopy. The light is set to 80% and is creating some good growing conditions. Flower has started and most of the plants are showing little bud clusters and pistils. They are starting to smell already, just mild skunkiness. I say this every time, but there are some super short plants like the skunk and tall lanksters like the Blackberry. There is some stacking on some and mega stretch on others, such is the case when you grow 7 different genetics. It’s all good tho, we’ll train them up. Did some leaf tucking and removed a couple beastly light and site blocking fans. Other than that we’re just gonna watch and see how this plays out. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Happy Growing 🌱

19/07/20 (Sunday) 7AM - Set 4 seeds to germinate in cups of water (Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Columbia) 7PM - St. Vincent and the Grenadines seed shows taproot 9PM - Trinidad and Tobago seed shows taproot 10PM - Seed from Jamaica shows taproot 11PM - Set the 3 germinated seeds into individual half gallon pots filled with promix. 20/07/20 11AM - SVG seed rises to the soil level 8PM - Jamaican follows suit 11PM - TT also exposes itself 21/07/20 The weather and forecast for the week show scattered showers and the seedlings are showing early signs of stretching so I decide to build a makeshift grow tent to supplement their light cycle while bringing them outside for a minimum of 4 hours every day to acclimate them. I decided on a 75W output LED bulb with a temperature of 6500K and 1055 lumens while using my room fan to simulate wind for healthy stem growth. 22/07/20 The plants show slowed stretch symptoms but still not to the level I want, so I revamp the 'grow tent' with reflective material (crumpled aluminium foil for more reflective surfaces) and upgraded the bulb to a 100W output LED with the same temperature and a higher luminousity of 1350. One cotyledon on the SVG strain was broken but not completely sheared off, but I'll leave it to its own devices. 23/07/20 Columbian seed has yet to germinate so I added another from my backups. 24/07/20 Seedlings have shown normal rates of growth so I think the current grow tent is sufficient. When I took them outside they endured light gusts and rainfall for a half hour during their sun bask. I decided to add foil to the door of the tent to trap more light in. 25/07/20 Tropical Storm Gonzalo may make landfall today and the skies are set up for thunderstorms so I decided to keep the plants in their indoor setup for the full 18hrs of their light cycle. Since both Columbian seeds still show no signs of germination, I decide to go collect another strain. I got my hands on a 21 day old Dominican Republic strain that was grown in a seedling tray and left there; It was fed once with 20-20-20 and calmag. The cotyledons were white, the stem red between the top nodes and yellow the rest of the way down, the leaves a light green, and it was no taller than 2 inches excluding it's 1 inch sq root cube. I immediately transplanted it into my remaining half gallon pot upon returning home, dampened the soil with my spray bottle and left it to sit with the others and finish the light cycle.

I love the sativa shaped nug-towers! When my plants grow big, I like to grow them until the very end of their cycle! That's why the extended flower period. Video of Measurement of yield: T=Tops(92grams), M=Mids(59.1 grams), L=Lowers(58.6grams) Total: 209.7 grams (1-2 grams worth, was taste-tested prior to scaling.)
