Another straightforward week in the grow room. All three Phenos continue to look fine with good leaf color. I've been working on this super soil recipe for three grows now. I learn a little more with each attempt and come to find this particular blend in larger 7 gallon grow bags IMHO is passing the eye test. All three are in stretch, so I'll continue to keep an eye out over the next 2-3 weeks. In the 3x3, I have manage height. No additional feedings just watered ph'd between 5.8 and 6.2. I do water at top as well as bottom (wicking). These girls are already beginning to exhibit a loud smell. Just bought a new carbon filter, which I will swap out today. This closes out the week. 24/08/25: Today was the day! After checking the trichomes, I’d say the ratio was around 1:4 amber to cloudy, with no clear trichomes left in sight. Pretty much the perfect harvest window and I am super happy that I kept them a little longer since I didn't detect any pests/mold whatsoever while trimming! 😁🤞🏼 I went for a wet trim this time so I can dry them in DryFerM bags, which I’ve heard a lot of good things about and am excited to try out. The trimming session intense since I had to cut a lot of leaves and the smell was really strong! Both plants surprised me with a strong diesel/fruity aroma that I hadn’t noticed as much before. The Sativa-leaning pheno is fruity with fresh lemon terps, while the other leans into those spicy, earthy notes with even more gas, which I love! The smaller plant also developed some beautiful purple buds, which I never had before. All in all, I’m very pleased with how this first run with autos turned out, especially since the two phenotypes ended up so distinct in both looks and aromas. Now it’s just a matter of drying and curing… I’ll check back in about a month to update how they’ve developed in the jar, and give a smoke report!

7 months after planting her from seed the day is finally here. A little earlier than I would of liked due to insects (crickets/grasshoppers eating buds) but she's thereabouts finished. Probably lost 1/3 of buds from the chewing insects but still a big yield and my drying room is full 😊 She survived two rainy season's and some serious wind from a tropical depression back in September. I have kept this grow completely organic so no pesticide or chemical fertilizers used. Apart from heavily amending the soil at the start I mostly fed her crabmeal once a month and seaweed and molasses in most waterings. A few of those waterings were diluted with my urine 😆👌 NPK right!? Why not.. then at the end I added a cultured pro biotic yogurt to the soil 2 days before I harvested. (Tip from a fellow grower @med_in_tropic - thanks bro) Not sure if it made any difference as I cannot compare with another plant but, the plant starting smelling like lemon furniture polish.. like a lemon scent with a fuel undertone. Almost menthol like 🤷‍♂️.. smells amazing. Me and my wife drank tea from the trimming and the citrusy flavour came though into the tea which was nice. Weather wise the temperature is down now to around 16c at night with RH around 50% so the buds should dry much slower than the last harvest so I should get a better flavour profile. Smoke report to follow after she has been in a jar for a week or so.. I did try a bud sample a few weeks back and the taste then was already pleasant so for sure this will be fire... 🔥 Thanks for all the kind comments, this was my first ever grow start to finish. Part 1 of a video project I give myself for this run. And wow ,I'm absolutely loving this grow. The girls are preforming brilliantly with the training, although the Forbidden Runtz excelled with LST more so then the StrawNana, she is more bushy and compact, which made it quite tight in the 2x2 grow tent, but not overcrowded. I'm just a grower, who just loves growing. My passion was vegetable gardening, but living arrangements are different now and can no longer have a garden..... but it has opened up the possibility of indoor cannabis growing which wasn't a option for me before. My medium is a make up of reamended soil from my last run, to make my 25% supersoil base, 65% complete organic compost and topped off with 10% light seedling soil. I also fed a compost extraction once a week from WEEK 5 and they always responded brilliantly. I used the chop and drop technique when I defoliated which my worms seem to love and also used the compost feed for my compost extraction as a mulch layer every week after the feed, which covered the defoliated leaves. Fast and SIMPLE patio grow, perfect for an impatient grower. 72 days from seed to harvest. Could have taken some of the branches at 68-70d. Responded well to pinching back growth to encourage branching. Tested yield by leaving one plant natural and pinching back the other. Pinching back produced way more bud and the plant didn’t seem to mind. The smaller plant only produced 8 bud clusters and those were fairly airy, but showed amber hues a little sooner. Maybe she got less light than the bigger plant. They were both LOW on sunlight. The last 3 weeks of the grow were non-stop rain and storms, very little sunlight. So the girls didn’t stack ‘em up like I wanted. Gotta have light to make bud!! Vegetative growth the first 8 weeks was phenomenal. It wasn’t until the rains set in that progress slowed to a crawl. They were a few feet apart and both facing the equator with daylight to dark exposure. The sun itself wouldn’t cooperate though. Both plants were fed and watered the same. Soil was the same etc.... Only used commonly available garden center nutes. Wanted to demonstrate that a person could take the leap with their first patio grow without having to invest in a lot of special grow stuff. You can! but you at least need decent sunlight. I didn’t weigh the fresh harvest very accurately. I took whole stems to hang them by, and my good scale isn’t that big. I used a bathroom scale and weighed myself holding an empty box and the box again with the harvested plant difference was about 3 lbs. Once I trimmed off the fan leaves and cut it off the roots and trunk it was under a pound. I won’t trim them super tight because very little of it will be smoked, most will be used to make infusions, but I’ll remove as much stem as possible. Curing and storing in C-vault with 62% Boveda packs.

Day 8: The true leaves seem to be more pale than before, but apparently that's normal. Day 10: Started doing timelapses, and added a small fan. Day 12: The plant seems to be growing faster and faster, I hope this behavior continues

This plant looks stunning, I love this strain, I enjoyed a lot last year, her flowers are absolutely 🔝 quality, and I love that strange sweet gasoline smell, I can't wait to transplant this lady and make her become a nice bush like I did last year, this lady has been Transplanted on day 34 since planted may 5th! Can't wait to start training this lady!

The buds are getting fat and there are plenty of bud sites and they are nice and frosty now the 2 that were lagging behind certainly aren't that far behind. I have bamboo canes ready to go in soon as the side branches are getting heavy and i don't want them to get snapped or anything now I come this far 40 days on 12/12 today Thanks for taking the time to read my update 🙏💚

And this Mama keeps getting better and better every week, she is now putting weight on her fruits to a point that i am already using extra help to keep them in place lol , and man she keeps increasing her trichomes to an outstanding levels and formation , she is a beauty of the goods and a keeper thats for sure. Stop my P and increase my K and everything else except my CO2 levels , don wryly control that , and my PPFD that i control and am keeping the same as last week. 2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from RQS seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Fat Banana is a unique tropical indica/sativa hybrid. It is the result of crossing delicious Banana and outstanding OG Kush genetics. The strain demonstrates amazing potency and the THC level reaches to 25%. The plant develops a strong and long central cola and grows up 80-140 cm tall. Fat Banana develops a huge bushy structure outdoors. The flowering period takes 7-8 weeks and the harvest brings 350-400 g/m² under a 600w light indoor and 450 - 500 gr/plant outdoor. It’s now time to start flower. They are looking amazing and I’m going to go ahead and throw his crocs in there. The plant looks super healthy and strong, I've removed the main stem allowing the secondary branches to become the main ones now and also I've done this to void a high height for the plants, I want everything as low as possible, let's see how this lady keeps developing guys!

🌿 Woche 8 - Zweite Erntewoche ️🌿 🌱 Wachstum🌱 Lady 2 wurde Ende Woche 9 also nach knapp 10 Wochen auch geerntet. Bei ihr kam Erwarungsgemäß mehr rum bei rum. 47g bei Pflanze Nr. 2 Die Mängel sind kaum noch zu übersehen. Ich bin überzeugt das die Pflanze zum Schluss ihr volles Potenzial nicht ausschöpfen konnte. Trotzdem haben es viele gute Buds geschafft und der Rest sieht auch rauchbar aus 😋 🌱 Living Soil🌱 Ich bin mit der Erde so semi zufrieden. Aber wenn man die Umstände bedenkt, und das eigentlich zu kleine Beet, für gleich 2 Pflanzen. Kann ich mich doch noch glücklich schätzen. Nächstes Mal vllt nur eine Pflanze 😜 Vllt hab ich auch hier und da was falsch gemacht. Der Blumat hat mich mitten im Run auch im Stich gelassen. Vllt war es hin und wieder doch etwas zu Trocken. Grade in der 2. Hälfte des Runs.
