The flowering on this lady has been very fast, she is giving off a nice orange 🍊 aroma. I have had to move her position in the tent to allow her to grow to her fullness. The weather has been really good this month and we have just had a few days that have been above 29 degrees Fahrenheit which has been welcomed at this stage.

Had all 9 seeds germ, but one dampened off at day 4 of sprout. Luckily I germed another auto to take its place. Based on my experience a good rule of thumb to follow with autos is to germ 10% more than you need since runts and unstable genetics are ripe within the NEW Ruderalis

Flushing a bit this week and letting the leaves turn yellow on purpose so I know all the nutrients are used up in the soil. Gonna let it plump up a bit more for maybe another week and let it dry out before I harvest it.

Keeping things simple again this week. Roots are already starting to come thru the starter pots drainage holes so I'd say the action below the surface has been what I was hoping for with this starter mix. I'll continue to provide a MegaCrop and Kelp Extract feedings to push her a little bit, I heard the term Synthganic the other day and it seems appropriate her, as I'm using organic and salt nutrients... I've got a little road trip planned so she may be coming down the shore with me over Thanksgiving.

Day 61 - Into week 9 and back from my little vacation and the wife did good with the girls while I was gone. The girls didn’t need water today but when she dries out, I will be giving her a feeding of nutes. I did a bit of defoliating today and some more leaf tucking. She’s grew up a ton since I left and the buds are looking gorgeous. She’s definitely putting out an awesome smell right now. Day 62 - Nothing new really today, just checked her to ensure she didn’t need water and tucked leaves again. She’s definitely starting to put out a smell of an old wet shoe or something. Day 63 - The end of week 9 and gave her a feeding of nutes today. Fed her with the FoxFarm trio and went to runoff to check the pH. Water going in was 6.7 and coming out easy 6.6 so all is looking good.

I gave the 8 Ball Kush and the Blue OG a full 9 weeks in flower , we started the trim yesterday and will finish up today , now it’s cleanup time and get the room reloaded with 8 Ball Kush and Zombie Kush, I will update next weekend on final weight.

This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. Strawberry Banana is growing ok. I added one row of blocks to raise her up. Lst tied one branch off to the side. I'm hoping she starts to pick up in the week. I see potential but we'll see. Well, here we are ladies and gents. I'm saying this a good few weeks earlier than I was expecting to, but she's ready. Buds have swollen up like balloons, and are dense and frosty. I dug out the microscope for a look in the week to see how far gone we were, and the pictures tell the story. As much as 50% amber on some of the tips closest to the light. Even deep in the calyx, amber is 30-40%, and lowers are 95% cloudy / 5% amber. The sugar leaves pretty much look like a burnt landscape under the microscope at this point. Almost disappointed it's coming to an end, this has been a really chill grow. No issues at all, she's been a pleasure from start to finish. But they all gotta come to an end sometime. Way she grows, boys. Way she grows.... Enough sadness. 'Tis a time to be joyful. She looks great, smells great and she's screaming she's ready, so I will be chopping any day now. This is the last weekly update - I'll be back in a couple of weeks once this is all dried, trimmed and weighed with the harvest details :)
