Run-off got pretty high on the plants in the main tent when I tested it this week (2300ppm) so I flushed the plants down to around 900 over a few water events with half-strength nutes (~450). I think this, plus (mainly) the plants being too close to the LED caused them to throw some foxtails - particularly the middle plant (although I still think that spindly shit is also partly due to the bag seed pheno). Noob mistake on my end and I didn't realize until it was too late. Now the light is turned down and the run-off is back in a good range. It got high because my auto-watering halos were mostly running off the pots and not sinking in - this is because I filled the pots to the brim with coco (another noob mistake). Looks like I'm hand watering until harvest :) Big Mumma in the blurple tent on the other hand is still killing it.. Apologies for having to upload videos of the microscope - too hard to hold it still and press the button for photos lol.

Essa genética é uma cruza que fiz em algumas flores da Franco Lemon Cheese da Green House Seed. Utilizei o pólen da minha primeira planta que era um macho. Foi um processo a longo prazo. Coletei e armazenei o pólen por um ano e só depois de uns 4 ou 5 ciclos, polinizei a Franco Lemon Cheese. Todo esse processo levou em média 2 anos, e não foi nada planejado. Por aqui trabalhamos com o que temos e quando temos. A germinação foi feita no copo com água e água oxigenada volume 10. Após a radícula aparecer (3 dias) foi direto para o substrato, posicionei bem a radícula no solo e esperei a casca da semente se quebrar. Essa parte não é um processo fácil para uma pessoa ansiosa que já não estava conseguindo germinar as últimas sementes disponíveis. Mas quem diria, depois de tantos anos, uma cruza feita em casa de forma artesanal, viria a germinar… Vamos acompanhar o crescimento dessa guerreira!

Girls started their last mile; buds are growing and smell is getting strong. I think in 2 weeks they will be ready to harvest. During the last week I removed all leaves bigger and I will continue to do it just to favorite penetration of light. I feel satisfied, it’s my first indoor experience.

Saw spidermites setting up camp on the dark side of the plant on 1 bud site. There was no sign of them anywhere else. This plant is becoming more trouble than it’s worth and I’ve decided to chop her early after.

Finally coming to an end this week, didn’t get to properly flush the nutrients out to see the leaves begin to fade but next grow i will pay more attention to this. Definitely needed to hold the plant up using chopsticks but hey it worked

So week 6 not much change getting frosty and fatten up. Having trouble with temps as winters on the way. But iv wrapped. My tent with double backed curtains. All the way round n it's helping a lot. 3 weeks n counting cud even be 4..dont want to chop to early n thay still have a little while to go. Happy growing peeps

Bueno resumiendo cookies gelato es una variedad híbrida muy fácil de cultivar pero ojo, cuidado con los últimos riegos si no queréis perder cosecha por moho. Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . Un saludazo que paséis un final de año increíble y por supuesto buenos humazooos💨💨💨.

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, since I almost killed everything in there 😂 Fat Banana is a very nice fruity-kush strain ,with a genetic background tracing back to OG Kush x Chiquita Banana. It is a heritage with a lot of power behind it, this can be seen in the potency of Fat Banana’s bud, which can reach up to 25%+ THC in just 9 weeks! When grown with an expert hand (NOT MINE😅). The potential here is great! I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant. This is one of the strain that did notice more my mistake, can be clearly seen on the final product. Infact, a good part of the flowers, went for bubble hash, I kept a bit to try it out because the smell its amazing. I topped her and then, because of an accidents I mainlined her, first to try the Mainlining training and 2nd as it was the only one I had, I wanted to grow her. Probably If I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have had a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Gonna grow this strain again 80% I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! Added some straw to keep the top layer from drying out. Feeding it .25 gal of water every 3-4 days.

I'm going to try an 1hour/day of UV light. I want to know if it will increase the weight, increase the trichomes, is it true?
