12/05/24 Short Facts: Watered: 1 x 2.5L, 1 x 2.4L, 1 x 2.8L, 1 x 2.5 — Total: 10.2L VPD @ 1.4 Light @ 70% (~700 to 950 PPFD) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nothing special happened this week. The leaves are looking better, so I’m now 100% confident that it was a nitrogen deficiency combined with senescence. The buds are also getting a bit bigger now. Maybe I’ll give her a little more time and harvest her after Christmas. The Blumat Digital Pro Plus is really helpful, making my watering spot-on. Great tool!

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. Buds are packing on weight pretty good for only being at the end of week 3. I think these buds have potential to get some good size to them by the end of flowering period. I noticed a few days ago my timer stopped working, lights were stuck on. Looks like there's no ill effects yet though despite worrying about them revegging if they were left on for too long. Noticed leaf tips are all nute burned so they are at their maximum for ppm as far as nutrient uptake is concerned. Going to back the ppm off by 250 in the next feeds and continue to observe the leaf tips. Plants are still recovering from a nute lockout that caused a mg deficiency and took away a lot of bottom growth from all 4 plants. Ph is back on track and plants are growing rapidly again. So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

Girls are really stretching now!! I’m surprised as to how much the Dosi is outgrowing the Maui!! The genetics and overall strength of the strains are really showing at this point I believe. Gave them all another good defoliation to enhance light to cola sites and adjusting neuts to the flowering schedule. Everything is looking super healthy even the little seedling that I think turned out to be both females. Although they are super small the little they produce will be banger since it’s a lemon skunk strain. Well this week I had to give the girls a fairly big trim they were beautifully bushy but they were struggling for space so I cut back the heavy shade leaves that were covering bud sites I am also adding bloom to there feed from now but they are doing really well and the smell in the tent is devine. 💚🙏🌱🙏💚🙏🌱🙏💚

have some type of deficiency have some spots on leaves but besides that things look okay they both need more water now not sure how long I can veg in the containers I’ll probably try get another week or two then up pot to 7 gallons I broke a branch and new growth from topping today smh trying to bend it for training and was to rough so i put some tape on it hopefully they grow back in a week or two Feb 25 getting one of them ready for transplant I’ll probably do it in two days I’m going to let the one with the broken branch heal for another week probably before I transplant Feb 28 Did some trimming of the lower leafs Almost time for one to be transplanted the cover crop have not grown in the 7gal yet I seen some growing but not a lot

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

05/13 - added Big bud and B-52 on 05/10. PPM is over 1400 - plants show zero sign of over fertilizing.. I'm impressed. I've always found AN to be pretty hot - where I can run it slightly below recommendation, but Im tempted to increase with these gals. I won't, but I'm tempted.

04/01/21 So much power in these buds! Smells so strong in only a week! I’ve started to extract the popcorns and sugar leaves too now so I can make some more tincture and make edibles, I aim to infuse my own syrup this time too! Will keep you updated! Tastes like bananas and heavy vanilla aftertaste! Can taste the power in every toke and leave you dry red eyes and almost couch locked I say almost as I fell asleep passed out ahahah in the daytime so I don’t suggest if you work or plan to work with Machinery lol you will be in la la land Truly tastes and smells of bananas with a dank over tone proper fuel like diesel or stardog! Didn’t have to wait to smoke her and she hit me on the dome straight away and the chest within an instant could feel the power coming off of every blast! Could of done a little better if I scrogged but wanted to let these girls do their own thing and see how strong they get arbour support but I prefer scrog method it’s tidier and light won’t be blocked from any bud site! Today's the beginning of week 2 veg, Plants are under 600w MH lights now. Roots are growing and spreading out nicely as you can see them popping out the bottom of the pots. By the end of this week when all plants have roots popping out of the bottom they will be transplanted into 20ltr fabric pots. Feeding upped to 400ml per 3 days on average.
