Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Day 135. Girl stinks a hell, cant move her to smaller tent and my new fan is delayed, so is new diary. Still in doubts what to do, dont want to postpone next run deep into summer, too hot at mines ... Day 137. Girl was moved to new home, humidity was at highest 50, hope during night i wont get bud rot, have no outfan still... Day 138. Girl was fed with last nutes, from now just phed water, hope she will last 3 weeks minimum. Have a feeling that she dont like it, but got humidity in mid 40ties maybe we will make it ;) Day 140. After filter instalation i created negative presure, plus inside fan moved air and tent was too small for this girl, her walls were breathing, so one head rubed heavily, all glued to flat ;)) Had many budrot cases and they were starting from a lot smaller incident, prevention is the key, plus i want to try out that stinky beuty ;)

Hey guys, I did some LST with some copper dreads. I like Rubber tie tubes more but my brances are to small for that. A day later i gave them some water with enzymen ph 5.8-6 and yesterday i gave them nutrients and sprayed them with CANNA CURE. I decided to build a roof for my plants haha, i can't help myself giving them the best conditions i can give them for a outside grow. Bought some 20L pots and some garden dreads. Sadly it is still to cold in the night so i can't repot them and keep them outside 24/7. I'm not really sure if i like the way i LST them because it takes a lot of time to recover and grow but like i said i like to do different things everytime. Normaly you should LST them when you got more brances or just bend the main cola. The way i did it cost many leafs while not having much, so you take away lots of energy. By accident a brance from the plant in the middle(look at pictures) got cut off but i really didn't mind because i was planning to keep four plants instead of five :) ps, made the pictures at 10pm so the leaves are down a bit, i might make some new ones when they are happy in the sun therefore they are lifted more. They still get a few hours of sun every day when i put them outside and therefore they still grow slowly, it will take some time. I hope you enjoyed. Update: Made a new picture at daylight under the roof. Putted the plant I don't want to keep in the bigger pot and will keep her outside to see if she can manage through the night temperatures. If i don't see anything i don't like, keep growing in the comming week, i might put all my plants outside permanent.

She has finally started some growth that I’m looking for. Trimmed her up 2 weeks ago and her new leaves/shoots are filling the spots. Lateral growth as well. Slight Flowering on the very bottom of plant so next week is the start of week

The leaves continue to turn yellow from the bottom. It seems that I started fertilizing too quickly and the tips of the leaves burned a little

High quality autoflowers guys! Very happy with this 3 gelato auto by fast buds, the smell it's very pungent and there are a lot of trichomes in early flower, very good strain to grow, let's see how this 3 ladies keep developing those stinky flowers! 💚💓👨‍🌾

05/17 - Both are vegging accordingly - applied a hard LST to even out the canopy and distribute light coverage around the plants - Both are currently in 1 gallon pots - Both will be transplanted into 5 gallon pots by the end of the week - I will begin micro-dosing their nute feeds to negate transplant shock.

week intel: we are going through slowly stresses : just a little E.C stress around 1.4 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 700 ppm - 1.4 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster around 327 ppm - 0.64 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 255 ppm - 0.5 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : know your plant tolerance limit of E.C stress once you saw the very very little yellowing on tips of leaves , that's the sign to don't go further , never reach that limit if you want a high quality buds, in my case tolerance is 1.4 and i'll reach to that level only once a week to cause precision stress , love your plants and have a happy growing!

Today i decided to heavily defoliate the plants. I also found a old feeding schedule from Green House with PH values, and it recommends that i should give an PH of 5.7 on coco. I thought PH 6 was good, but i was wrong, maybe this in combination with the plants being too wet, is the reason for the weird growing leaves, and the problems they show. I cleaned the reservoir and made sure there is no old water in the lines. I made a full strength 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir. I turned the reservoir on for around 3 mins, just to the point that the AutoPot trays are full of water and the valves are shutting them off, then i turn the reservoir off. I will do this every other day, so 1 time in 2 days. 7-4 Temperature: 25.7 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 50% (lowest) 8-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.4 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 55% (lowest) Today i turned on the reservoir for 3 minutes again, just till the trays are full of water. 9-4 Temperature: 25.9 degrees (lights on) 21.2 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 51% (lowest) No pictures.
