Another smooth week for everyone but the twisted helix. This plant gets the award for the most unhappy plant I have ever grown. The leaves are dying off fast and she isn't looking good. Just trying to keep her alive long enough to make hash out of her. Sugar Cane buds are pretty small compared to the others but she's full of trichomes and still has some time to put on weight. Jack Herer has a super strong lemony aroma. Everyone is still stacking up. Not seeing any swelling yet so we still have some time before they think about finishing up. I put the dehumidifier in the room this week. Hoping to start getting these girls chopped and trimmed in the next few weeks, but have to let them do what they do.

She is going well , has been topped for a 2nd time & doing some LST. She has very large shade leaves on her.

I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain. Going good.. Gelato still super tiny.. Seems it has the results of nutrient burn without the nutrients.. Just gonna let it do its thing though.

2.2. - Seems like I'm still doing something wrong. My plants got more yellow. Watered 💧 4.2. - I've added and adjusted some wires. Also, I've decided to defoliate a bit...at least the most yellow parts. I’ve switched to a custom fertilizer blend, flushed all the plants with the new solution until the runoff matched the input values. I’ve transplanted the original 3 seedlings into 1 gallon bags of promix cx (coco). Topped them and rooting the tops to make clones for this mom hunt. 1 of the originals (gorilla glue) has failed to thrive and is stunted at the 3rd node.. I’m ready to toss her. The 4 replacement seedlings are also ready to transplant but not quite ready to top for cloning, needs a little bit more stem growth before I prune back to the 3rd node. I’m very happy with these ladies so far. I could send the first 3 to flower right now but I’m going to wait for the other 4 to catch up first so I can run them all together.

I notice her Ovules are very large in size. Quite unlike any plant I have seen before. I don't know if this is a 'primative' strain but it's quite unusual. So far: 147g wet Day 77 - Staggered harvest started. When I see a couple of amber trichomes on a bud I will harvest it and leave the rest. Day 84 - The other colas are getting there slowly. I don't know if it is the heat stressing her out 30 c in tent. We have a heatwave here right now.... Day 84 - 2.11g dry ground up Day 89 - 1.72g dry ground up Day 91 - What is left of her. She looks a mess lol. Day 94 - Final harvest trimmed up and drying. Final dry total to follow in a few days. Day 100 - Final weigh up. Well we got 72.46g on the scales today. I never did wet weight after the first harvest so dismiss that. In total I got 74.57g. It is a very small harvest for me but I don't think this plant has the genetics to be a big yielder.000

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

I had to skip a week as we went out of town for the 4 th of July. My AC Infinity self watering pots worked great. I gone seven days. I let them dry back a bit for the couple of days prior to the trip, then watered from the top until nice and wet and filled the reservoir completely. The reservoir was dry when i got back and only one (plant 2) showed just barely signs of needing water again. Now I'm doing trichome checks almost daily. Lots of clear and cloudy, some amber here and there. I'm guessing I'll probably see another 4-7 days max before harvest?

Got everything hung up. Stripped the fan leaves and broke down into sections. Run 60/60 or as close as i can get until the stems snap.

Grew really tall. "Explained up top", buds are really nice and dense, so overall I'm harpy with the yield. Harvested more or less whole. Drying 7 days. At least 3 more to go. Will get to trimming and weighting soon. Had a little tester last wk. But, was hard to get the measure of it. Was sweet, but pretty planty.. buds, as I said are dense.
