Hello. I saw your question about regular seeds. I didn't care for the creepy answer so I'll give my answer here. 😊 I'm glad you are trying regular seeds, you get so much more from them. It takes a bit longer but it's worth it. I've worked with reg seeds all my life. I'm 65 now and have been growing inside for the last 29 years. The seedlings show their sex usually after about 8 weeks. Some will show a bit earlier. If the plant hasn't shown it sex after 12 weeks Its most likely a male, not always but most likely. I've had late showing females that turned out great. Keep the plants in smallish pots until you know which sex they are, once they show you, then transplant them into bigger pot. Things I look for in a male for breeding is; Short and bushy, Rub the stem test and smell your fingers, the males should be very sticky with a lot of smell that lasts on your fingers for 2 minutes or more. I also want to see lots of flowers. These are good traits that the chosen males will pass on to the seeds. OK. Hope that helps. I don't mind questions if you have some more. Chuck.🎈
