da die ladys in zukunft zwischen den erdbeeren stehen werden hab ich dort schon mal eine tröpfchenbewässerung verlegt. noch reicht die bewässerung mit den literflaschen locker eine woche, aber das wird sich bald ändern. aber bis dahin stehen sie weiter im gewächshaus.

July 12: Sunday Punch EV is definitely the star plant this year. Very impressive grower and is doing great. Force flowering by putting in dark garage for 10 h per night plus using far red light at dusk. Far red light puts plant into dark mode two hours faster so its like having a 26 h day. This is a great trick if you have daily access to tour plant. Added a 1:1 mix of malted barley and Power Bloom. I had added barley a few days ago, but those sprouted, and then I remembered that its supposed to be malted barley. Removed the barley and replaced with malted barley. July 13: obviously stretching even after just the first night of force flowering. She seems really good. July 15: still stretching.

We have 2 weeks under our belt and now we're charging into week. So far each day I can see more new growth which is encouraging. With a few more nodes in the next day or so I'll look at topping. Cheers til next time -Dj Sunstone

It's happening! It's going to be a high of 32C/90F and so very sunny, so why not train them today? They're both 22 days from seed as of training start. #2 got FIMmed: So I was planning on topping one but ended up choosing to FIM it instead because it's lower stress. I have no idea what will happen now. I've never done either before. I chose #2 because it seems to be having an easier time producing leaves so far. I have a video of the cut. I used a pair of bonsai shears. I was really second guessing that I actually had to cut the leaves? I missed one, and it just felt weird to go back in and cut healthy growth, even though I'd already took off most of the newest leaves. I am not convinced I did this correctly because I don't understand what happens with the tiny new node I didn't cut. We will see. #1 got LST'd: With LST, I maybe should have done it sooner. The issue is the leaves are wide enough that they would be touching the soil if I really bent it like I was planning. I even undid it and tried the other direction just to see that it was even wider across. I propped a leaf on the tie and will have to adjust it again tomorrow once the crown has righted itself. I also read that it's not good to keep them in ties once they've gone into flower for autos because it stresses them, but with two plants I had LST'd, removing the ties just resulted in them eventually straightening the stems back out. So I'll not do that again for this one. I'm also a bit obsessive about measuring my plants, and that's harder with LSTing. I have a ribbon tape measure I use to measure the main stem length instead of the actual height of the plant.

Day 65 past nutrition problems I believe have slowed growth. unfortunately on a plant I think I have problems with the compaction of the soil which has caused too much irrigation. the plant does not eat and a little slower than the others. now after 4 days to dry i will give only datpo water which seems to burn for nutrients, i believe brought about by the fact that they are deposited in the soil. all in all they continue to grow and hope for the best! 💚🌱

1/5/2020 - Finally! Changed her over to the "Early Bloom" nutes. Reduced FloraGro and increased FloraMicro and FloraBloom as well as added Liquid KoolBloom. As you can see she is unbelievably happy and those two pictures of the leaf issues are the only places she has shown any issues. I was only able to see these as a result of removing her from the tent. Had I not done so, I wouldn't have known about them until harvest day. Anyways, buds are starting to form and she has started slowing down, nearing the end of stretch. Hopefully she will peak out about here so her buds will stay in the optimal 30-40cm distance from the light. This should place most of her primary buds in the 600-700umol range, which is about as optimal as I can get in such a space currently. everything turned out very well :) and it's only with 50w and with 40x40cm space :) It was an interesting journey with her, a slightly different cultivation and old mistakes were discovered :) the flowers are not dense, but they are really very, very sticky :) I'm happy:)

Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. The extended hours of light is crucial this time of the year or else she would be flowering already. Her is slow but sure.

Week 7 of flower. Getting sticky, frosty, and smelly! Nugs are fattening up. Did some super cropping to help with all nugs developing well. Starting to see some purple hues showing up and the trichomes are beginning to get cloudy. Have had a nice temperature delta of 10+ Degrees to hopefully boost the trichomes and colors.
