Harvest day First off, I have to apologize to everyone who was following the weekly updates life got crazy, and this girl got way too big to keep moving in and out of the tent for photos. She dried under great conditions around 18–21°C with 55–60% RH, total darkness, and steady airflow for that nice slow dry. Buds… frosty, dense, and absolutely covered. The smell was sweet, citrusy, and loud! 😍 The smoke matched it perfectly smooth, flavorful. Definitely one I want to run again, and next time I’ll give her the attention she deserves from start to finish.

8/30 - Week 4 ends and we are heading into flowering. Fed the first dose of 1/2 strength Fox Farms Soil schedule for week 5 today. 3rd feeding overall, all half strength. 8/29 - Alright, heading into flower, had some moisture / airflow issues with how damn bushy she'd gotten so had to chop some more on 8/28 evening. Rebounded nicely 8/29 and we've got a good amount of tops coming up now w/ some preflower starting. Looks like we're heading into flower properly now and should be stretching soon. Fed another round of Fox Farms soil week 4 last on 8/27. 8/26 - Been tying it down and adjusting daily, getting some good spread w/ a good # of bud sites coming up. Some stretch would be welcome to fill out the space a bit and get some room to work with. Don't want to chop too much leaf off as it's flipping to flower but it's crowded. Dark Devil and Big Devil I let slowly starve and then die of thirst. They consumed the last booster 4 days ago. She (Sour Jealousy) currently swallows 2.5 liters per day. That's really a lot. And in the morning she wants to have something again. I think the lamps tickle out their full potential. I meticulously defoliated her and now she stands happily and despite all the exertions, like a star in the sky. My star. 🌟 Sour Jealousy is really crazy, I can say that. And the coolest highlight will be: Lady Jealousy will soon be able to enjoy the whole place in the sun for the "grande finale". The smell of the two Sweet Seeds totally upsets me! This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. It time for push and tuck. I did the feeding for transition ( 1:1:1 ratio). I watch them for about 3 hours, then turn the lights out for 24-36 hours. This depletes the hormone that says veg and switches to flowering. Espoma seed starter mix : 1 TBSP Jobe’s Citrus Fruits : 1 TBSP 3 TBSP earth worm castings 1/4 tsp recharge Aerated for 30 hours at 68 degrees ( nice and frothy 😂😂) 1 gallon of water 750-765 ppms at 1:1:1 ratio. This will last for the first 6-7 days, then we switch to 1:3:2 ratio. I will list what I use for 1:3:2 as it will change from week to week. 10-18 Lights are out for 30 hours and we will see how they look. Lights go back on at 6am EST. 10-19 The lights are kicking. Did some tucking. I did 30 hours of dark before introducing 12-12 light schedule. I can see some of the pre-flower hairs sticking out. 8-8-8 at 760 something ppm’s went well. This is the first run I will be hand feeding the plants throughout flower. I relied on dry amendments and had some success, but I think I can push the bar higher having more control over the feedings. I will be doing a total of 8 feedings. 10-22 The trellis is filling up!!! I added photosynthesis plus to the mix and some fulvic/humic acid. All the ladies are praying up.

Harvest came a little earlier than I wished for, about 3-5 days to be precise, but she had spider mites that just spread over lots of leafs - I had to harvest to safe her in the end (sounds so much more dramatic, than it actually was).

Back to the 1000 wt as temps here are modest for July atm. Still 1 plant not flowering like the other 2. I will be patient as it’s overall structure looks amazing. Slowly easing into the process not as much anxiety about every little thing. Changed my light out for my lower power 600 wt led instead of the 1000wt TMLAPY. Maybe not the right move i really don't know what to do b/c i have tip burn and my tent gets a bit hot in the low 80s when its in the 90s here in Illinois. I have an makeshift cooler w fan and some fans and my exhaust fan system which im pretty sure is under powered and overall and bad beginner purchase. I will upgrade as soon as i can financially afford to. Also had flooding issues in basement which is always an adventure, i eventually need a better way to get my grow tent up off the ground b/c water does get in there sometimes. Doing everything in my power to avoid mold and have fans and filters and cleaning, but again this may have been a beginner mistake and i may have to find a new home for the tent for the next time. Also I definitely had been under watering the girls and came close to one of them dying and have to remove some yellow leaves at bottom, they all look stable now. 1 out of 3 plants has a darker color and looks fuller and healthier w less tip burn but it is shorter only has a couple of hairs where the other 2 are going full on into flowering with so many hairs and growing much taller. Possibly stunted the growth... Anyway the word of the day for this week is TIP BURN. I will submit a question to follow. i recently uploaded a video that should show all 3 plants w the tip burn.

Clones adventure. Mom's recovering. Spoiler: it was a very bad idea to put the clones into such large plastic pots and flood the propagator with too much water. Yes, the environment was fine, but there was no airflow through the coco, so the cuts rotted and I had to re-transplant the clones again after cleaning off the damaged parts. Meanwhile, the mom is happy and recovering very fast.
