sorry for the lack of updates for this third week of flowering , personnal issue , some was very very thursty at some point but no big deal everything is ok :) . in about 10 day i throw my old smartphone for a brand new wich can record in 2K/4K we are done with poor vid quality :D

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work. hola colegas , 6 semanas desde el cambio a 12/12 , las nena siguen bien amarillando algunas hojas por falta de nitrigeno me imagino , instale los tutores que me faltaban a las 5 nenas que no lo tenian , EXHALE CO2 es una bomba 100% recomendado. tienen un olor muy rico que al empezar a subir la escalera del segundo piso se siente el buquetazo , segun yo voy bien , cada vez queda menos para la cosecha y eso me deja muy feliz , ya quiero que llegue ese dia , el ultimo riego con fertilizantes que hice no use la base (top bloom ) y la verdad respondieron bastante bien las plantitas , saludos a tod@s de esta gran comunidad y pagina , grow diaries ,me encanta. pueden ver el avanze de mis nenas por instagram tambien , abrazos y que esto no pare .

Swapped out a light that’s slightly too big for my tent but squeezed it in with minor cuts to the tent. Probably should’ve done it sooner. Can only run the light at 50% or below.

Week 9 / pictures at 63 days old. So everything has been pretty much the same as last week. No vertical growth but everything looking fatter and frostier! Still soaking up lots of water - 1.5litres every other day with 3ml of bloom nutrients in each. Removed a fair few leaves today - the unhealthy old ones from round the bottom and the ones getting in the way and touching the buds. Purple skunk buds still looking fatter than sticky orange. Sticky orange pistils started turning orange last week so I think she is going to be ready first but with a smaller yield. Purple skunk pistils have started turning orange today. Temperatures are higher this week and have reached 30 in the tent but spring is here so temps in general are higher outside. Was hoping it would stay lower as I really wanted the purple skunk buds to turn purple! They apparently prefer it cold before the purple comes out. But we’ll see what next week brings. I feel like we’re on the home stretch now. Each week gets more and more exciting and I just want them to get FAT! Again, pictures and videos just don’t do them justice - they look so much better in the flesh!

I’m quite excited to see the flowers ! I cut a bit of leaves that cover buds from the light ;) this session I don’t pinch the branches to let the stretch doing the job
