It's been a wonderful week despite a handful of deficiencies mainly affecting the UKBS varieties. UKBS 2 seems to be getting hit with a phosphorus deficiency; which fingers crossed will be solved next watering. UKBS 2 had some PH issues which led to multiple deficiencies, those seem to have been remedied at this time as no further symptoms are appearing. I really want the weather to get nice already, the tent is turning into an absolute jungle and I need to clear some space. I'm quite glad I've never tried to flower 4 plants in a 2x4. 4/3/2021- Did some bending and twisting, as well as a bit of defoliation with UKBS 2, to make it branch outwards slightly as well as lighten up on how much shade it's creating in the tent. 4/5/2021 - Some kind of cal/mag issues are cropping up on UKBS 1 and Carl 1, looking to resolve those ASAP.

Last week went well. She seems to be done with the major part of the stretch and is stacking on bud now. I upped the cal-mag a mL per gallon because of the light intensity. Had to adjust the light upwards to avoid damage to the plant. I began to see some signs so had to take care of it but she is happy with the environment. She is growing some nice long buds just like the gelato next to her. Glad I have clones from both. Had to do some supercropping and defoilation. Did it to keep the branches at a good level and to keep the canopy level. She would have been taller if it wasn't for the lst. Will update as she progresses. Until next time you growing to everyone!

She grew 17cm this week. Over doubled her height. Lets see what she does in the next couple of weeks. I note she got a LOT bushier. Also her leaves are VERY broad and indica like for such a sativa strain! 😶

The Amnesia haze 2 is turning light green yellowish some told me it could be deficiency or it could be just flowering taking energy from the leaves but I’m not sure I used Gaia green bloom recently thinking it would help I’m going to too water that haze from here out the other have and sour I’m going to continue to bottom feed I took some trichome pics I don’t think there ready yet but I think I’m getting close to the date I feel the the amnesia haze 2 is going to hit 90+ days tho kind of hope not cause the other haze and sour are probably going be done sooner I want to fry them all at the same time March 7th I think the haze #2 and Sour d is ready but the other Haze is not I’m pretty sure I have another week pre maybe even two for it to be near ready I need the tent to harvest and dry what’s ready I’m going try leave the ready ones in for another week in hope it doesn’t mess them up

Back with a new week, the beginning of week 6 and wow, the girls are really starting to show off their fall colours and frosty colourful buds. EC has been slightly lowered and I have dropped cal-mag to ensure a good flush later on in the grow. PK has been increased and the girls are fattening up. pH has been drifting so trying to keep a close eye on this to enable the correct uptake of essential nutrients at this critical stage. Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. Still, it’s an incredibly useful tool for understanding growth rates. I’ll definitely use it for future grows. Comparing yesterday to today is one thing, but rewinding a week to see how things were is game-changing. I recommend it! You can even use an old phone with a timelapse app if your camera doesn’t support it by default. --- What’s Next I’ve grown fat buds before, but I’ve always neglected curing. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma. For now, I’m taking a breather, fine-tuning my setup, and preparing for my next grow: Wizard Trees - Zangria S1.

Están espectaculares todos los frutos, tanto de esta variedad como las otras, muy muy pretos como rocas, delicioso aroma y muy grandes, han crecido una exageración en una semana, se nota que comieron bien, no hay queja de mi parte hacia este cultivo, este riego con nutrientes será el último, el próximo ya es de limpieza de raíces y lo de más ya sabemos...😉 En el próximo cultivo se vienen cosas nuevas... Was a real experience to grow the Darkdevilauto, with these Strain we could see a lot of what a ganja plant can resist, the two ladys are amazing but the vipaspectra has a bigger, strong and clear smelling, the second Lady look also greatly under the Mars hydro pannels but in thc production we see a gigantic difference. 09 May 2021 Today starts the 15th week of my grow, and the 6th week of flower. Just over a month till the scheduled harvest, and today the nutrient amounts change according to my feeding chart. So today feeding went like this: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraBloom 15ml. Today we aren’t using any of the FloraGro, and won’t be for the rest of the grow. I chilled the water again, but not as long this time and the temperature of the solution was 56.3 degrees F. I thought it odd that the website doesn’t allow for entries lower than 50 degrees in that block, but oh well. The initial pH was 5.89, and I added pH UP 2.5ml which adjusted the pH to 6.53. The runoff pH was 5.63. Lower than I want, but still within range for a healthy plant. Temperature in the tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was at 53%. The plant looks great, and is maturing quite nicely. 11 May 2021 Today was a busy day! My DarkStar Kush is doing very well! The smell is starting to get stronger and the buds are fattening up as well. I’ve noticed some mild nutrient burn on some of my leaf tips, but nothing terrible. I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure that they don’t get worse. I haven’t really made any adjustments to the nutrients lately with the exception of increasing the FloraBloom by 2.5ml’s, and stopped using the FloraGro in accordance with my feed chart. Feeding today went as follows: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom at 15ml. The initial pH was 5.85, so I added 3ml of pH UP to increase the pH to 6.52. The runoff pH was 5.65. I finally received my TDS meter today, so the TDS reading was 1070 ppm. My feed chart says that the ppm range in looking for is 1050-1400 ppm, so 1070 puts me in that range. I chilled the water again today, and it was 46 degrees F. The temperature in the grow tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. So far so good, and I’m starting two new diaries today for some clones I was gifted by Buddabud, so check them out. 13 May 2021 Just when I thought I was on cruise control with my baby here, she throws me a slow curve. The question is; will I hit it, or miss it? The light nutrient burn that I noticed in my last entry on the 11th has gotten just a small tad worse, but nothing terrible. I believe it’s not from the feeding, but the build up of nutrients in the soil. I finally got my TDS monitor as I noted the other day, so I tested the ppm in the runoff and it was over 4000. Then, as I was shaking the excess water off the end, the end cap for the battery came off and the whole monitor plunged back into the water completely submerging for a moment before I could get a hand free to grab it. It’s been sitting in a bowl of rice since yesterday. I just hope it dries out and keeps working. I need to see what the TDS of the soil at this stage is supposed to be and then either keep going and damn the burn, or maybe feed with pH’ed plain water for a feeding or two and then see how it reacts. I’m still deciding, but will research first before making my decision. For today I kept to the feed chart. I gave the following: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 15ml. The initial pH was 5.92, so I added 2.5ml of pH UP which raised the pH to 6.47. That is what I fed the plant. The TDS reading of the feed solution was 1036 ppm. Runoff pH was 5.63. Tent temperature was 79 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. I have just about 4 weeks left in this grow till the scheduled harvest. 15 May 2021 Today is the last day of the 6th week of flower, and I’m going to try and arrest my mild nutrient burn on my baby. I’ve decided to just give water and CALiMAGic today properly pH’ed to see if it does anything to improve the situation. I wanted to have a significant amount of runoff today so I fed 1.5 gallons of water with 7.5ml of CALiMAGic. The initial pH was 7.60, but adding the pH DOWN is much different than adding pH UP! I initially added just 0.5ml to the gallon of water which lowered the pH from 7.60 to 4.9. I was like, “DAMN!” 😳 so I had to pour it all out and start over again. I learned through research never to mix pH UP and DOWN in the same solution. If it’s wrong, you need to start over;!so I did. After 3 tries and lots of wasted CALiMAGic, I finally got it right by only adding 5 drops (gtts) of pH DOWN to get it to 6.64. The TDS meter dried out and still works, so the TDS going in was only 403ppm. Like I said, I wanted a lot of runoff to try and clear out some of the nutrient buildup in the soil. The runoff pH was 5.58, and runoff TDS was 3803 ppm. Daytime temp was high today at 86 degrees F, and humidity was 31%. She looks good. She smells good. I hope she stays good! A few weeks left till harvest!

Just waiting to see if she develops any further clearly struggling bull still moving. She has had a 100 ml dose of home made solutions e.c 1.7 I will wait until the pot is dry until I fed her next!

Et voici le reste du jardin (sans la cherry cola qui sèche deja;) Rien à signaler à part les 2 monstre dans la tante qui n arrêtent pas de grandir ;) j ai fais une defoliation aux 2 ainsi qu aux dos i dos (qui produisent pas mal de feuilles à enlever;) Mais autrement elle aussi évolue bien . Demain la 2eme cherry cola va être recolter ainsi que la gorrilla x purple punch , et le reste du jardin ça continuer sont chemin encore une semaine avec nutriment puis on passera au flusch voilà voilà on y arrive tous doucement à cette douce et tendre recolte;) En espérant que se que vous voyez vous plaît ;) Bon dimanche à toute et tous je profite de vous postez quelque photo du jardin presque au complet (vue que j vais couper la cherry cola 2 ..et la gorrilla x purple punch Mention spécial à la dos i dos de barney qui m étonne de jour en jour plus une odeur folle de kusch ,des têtes dur comme la pierre, et pour une plante de 40cm elle va faire une bonne recolte !! (A voir d ici une semaine voir 2 ) et j ai dans les dos i dos comme pour les strawberry x gorrilla 2 pheno différent Un des pheno de strawberry prend 2 voir 3 semaine de plus à finir (j avais se pheno à mon premier journal de strawberry x gg4.. Dommage car l autre pheno est juste magnifique avec des têtes énormes (c celle de droite ) et elle fini bien plus tôt que l autre.. bon c été à peut près tout j voulais juste mettre quelque souvenirs en plus de ces magnifiques ladys 😀

Yet again another amazing run from the blue cheese. Barneys really got it right with this strain. Dense, frosty, smelly, Big heads literally everything i look for in a strain. Not too mention the high is the best! I love a good cheese smoke and harvesting this strain just as the trichomes fill with milky cloudy colours I fell gives the best high. Energetic and uplifting and just all around amazing! 10/10 would recommend!
