Hola me llamo David y llevo unos 8 años cultivando, me he decidido hacer mi primer diario, espero que os guste y podamos compartir conocimiento y bonitas imágenes. Siempre germino las semillas dentro de un tupper con papel húmedo por debajo luego cubrimos con papel y volvemos a humedecer, retiramos el agua excedente dentro del tupper y a mí me gusta dejarle la tapa puesta encima, pero no cerrada, de esta manera mantendrá la humedad, pero también tendrá una renovación de aire y oxígeno, siempre dejo el tupper en un mueble de la cocina, ya que se mantiene siempre a una temperatura de 20 a 25 grados, según la época del año. Tardaron 2,3 días en germinar y enraizaron todas 10/10. Las Rainbow Melon y Lemon Mandarin son las dos variedades con la radícula más desarrollada. (no tengo fotos ya que decidi empezar con el diario mas tarde.)

On day 1 week 4 flower the girls are bulking up smelling great and some pistils are turning orange. The trichomes are still mostly clear with some milky trichomes starting. On day 3 one of my blumats had a runaway I believe from fertilizer sediment all I can do this late in the game is to lower the flow rate and hope that will solve the problem. It is strange that this is the same blumat that flooded when I went on vacation earlier on in the grow. I will inspect the blumat closer when I finish the grow. I tightened the carrot down 1.5 carrots. Except for the minor flood the girls are doing very well, even though they are too close to my grow lights :). On day 6 almost all the buds are starting to have a second growth spurt with some small white pistils showing, the trichome concentration is visibly growing and I expect to harvest the girls between week 8 and 9 of flower.

Oct.7 day 68 buds are still stacking and getting harder every day & trichomes on all plants are now milky except for Trainwreck #2 which has turned into a long flowering sativa. Powdery mildew has gotten a little out of control on most of the potted girls so I started the long & tedious task of harvesting 1 plant per day starting with Blue Fire #1. Being a one-man operation I’m not looking forward to all the work that lies ahead however judging by the look and smell of these babies, should be well worth it in the end. Oct.8 day 69 cut down all the main colas on Blue Fire #2 & Strawberry Banana #2. Giving the lower branches a few more days to finish then chop chop and into the freezer. 😜😁👌 Oct.10 day 71 cut down all the main colas on Godfather OG #2 and keeping the rest for fresh frozen water hash. Also started trimming Godfather OG #1 eight days after she was harvested. First time drying in the garage which is detached from the house and is not insulated. Average temps in there this week were low 50's-60's F and 55-70% humidity. My concern was temps being too low and the fluctuating humidity. So far after eight days of hang drying in the garage with 2 small fans lighty blowing directly on the colas, God father OG #1 was dry and ready for final trim. That worked out better than I hoped. 🙌 Oct.11 day 72 Trainwreck #2 got chopped whole and is hanging. I would normally trim it up quite a bit before hang drying but I need a break today. Oct.12 day 73 Strawberry Banana #1 finally got chopped today. I shot a video of it in time lapse which compresses my five hour chop time to about one minute. This lady is a beast, such a big bush full of flowers, very sweet aroma, I can't find the cherry notes yet but it's very very sweet, I love this strain, all of them have the same smell, and this pheno is just amazing, very strong and for what I can see very productive too 😍🌱❄️🍪

Ended up cutting all of the front left plant this week and majority of the back two plants. Guna let the lowers get some light for a few more days. Really noticing all the tiny ass buds. Hopefully I'll make something out of them. First run with a net and I just left way too many branches/bud sites for this size of plants they were. Buds look good though. Flushing last plant and will be cutting in a few days.

Hi all 🧑‍🌾 Welcome to my 🍌💜👊 week update. Hope everyone keeping well and having a great week😁 Thank you so much for so much support on this bananas ride 🙏💜💚💜💚 Everything still going pretty well. Girls are developing and stretching like crazy. Athena currently Dec 14 90cm and main stem of Xena is not far of this height either. Unfortunately noticed first signs of calcium deficiency(my opinion) on Athena. Thankfully started feeding both girls with calmag weeks back but the dosage wasn't not enough for Athena. Started small treatment very next day on Dec 11 (see description below) I belive got my baby back on right track. Week 9 Dec 11-17 Dec 11 Watering was planned for Tuesday but due to calcium deficiency decided for a little treatment. Watered both girls with mixture of reduced content of growth nutes by 50% calmag at 1.2 ml per ltr. Reduced solution PH to 6.2 as apperently it's ideal for calcium consumption. Over period 4h I have watered Athena with 5ltr with couple runoffs. Xena 3ltr. Total of 7-10 leaves affected mainly at top colas close to the light. Dec 12-13 Purely observation and all looking well. Of course all affected leaves will progres of showing signs but good news is that growth and development booming and don't see any new leaves with symptoms. Very nice trichomes development in recent days and more and more colours. Dec 14 Second watering for this week 6.5l Increased calmag to 1.4ml per ltr and if still things will be looking well reduce to 1 or 1.2 on next feeding. Dec 15 Very nice respond on yesterday feeding. They definitely fatten over night and getting more and more frosty. Will need to remove some foliage soon as getting extremely bushy again. Dec 17 Xenas main stem top cola almost touched the light today. Tied her to left side of the cabinet, applied selective defoliation on both girls, tied few branches to netting and on the end of this busy day a third watering for this week. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Runoffs Xena PH6.4 Athena 6.3. Very nice week have to say. I belive that calcium deficiency on Athena is no longer a case here and both girls developing very nicely. Finished the last week of flushing WOO! and its harvest time! I put them in 48 hours of darkness on Wednesday ready to crop for saturday, I will do a proper harvest report next week when I have them ready to go into curing jars along with some pictures and a full report, but I will add this some of the smells I was getting whilst trimming where unreal smells like pine, citrus, beef and a really faint sweet smell I cant put my finger on... I'm not saying that's 100% what it smells like but it smells similar to wild garlic. Well these b*tches took 14 long hours( could of done it quicker but we made a day of it ) all bud is trimmed and primed for drying then curing. Happy Growing 👊👍

I need to dry the buds in the dark at 20 degrees in 50% humidity, then transfer them to jars and continue curing 💨

Started adding PK booster late into week 4. Ideal time to add PK is end of week 2 so the lack of early PK definitely hurt the density formation. These bad boys began to really stretch this and last week - really wish I had setup a SCROG for an even canopy. Oh well, you live and you learn. By the end of the week, the aroma on the plants began to smell really good like Sunny D.

Lamp Brightness: 100% @ 16" - estimated 914 PAR (top of GMO 2/back left) Waterings only, daily crop steering - reduced water temp + dry down periods IPM once-a-week visual inspection - no foliar applications notes: harvest likely next week (after 12 weeks flowering) trichome check - showing little signs of amber looks like they could go longer but another week I feel is sufficient smell has largely stayed the same for a few weeks if anything just more complexities

Day 22, 10-2-24: I did some trimming on them today for the first time! They needed some soil added, and I clipped the first 2 nodes and got them looking good! Day 23, 10-3-24: They are absolutely amazing. So vigorous... Great genetics... One of the few genetics companies I've gotten 100% ratios on popping seeds. These ladies are going to be some fine looking ones.. The bigger pot is definitely larger, but oddly, the six inches of soil is bigger than the control five gallon. Didn't expect that but it is what it is 🤷 Day 24, 10-4-24: The leaves on 1 and 2, and it has to be heat. I lifted the aglex 240 w about 6 inches this morning, the lights were reading good, and it doesn't feel hot under the light at their level, so IDK why they are curling. Day 25, 10-5-24: They are continuing to grow steady and robust. They are all generally the same again, and they feel good and flexible. Going to start lst'ing soon. Day 26, 10-6-24: I did some training on #1 and 2. 3, the control, is, lacking. Both more and less soil is doing better than the 5 gal.. 🤷 Life's a garden, dig it? Day 27, 10-7-24: I finally got my room moved around and got my 400 w Aglex in there and I have them at 17 inches from the light at 50% for around a 600ish par. Day 28, 10-8-24: They are growing like crazy! All except the control. #1 and 2 are doing great and are ready to be trained out more. #3 is slowly growing and it's just creeping along...

Note dolci di caramella si mischiano all intenso profumo di Arancia.🤤 Eh niente ragazzi! Thats week 6 of flower in the bag. 3 (maybe 4) go! I wont lie I have been visiting the tent more often these days thanks to the beautiful aroma tempting me to have a look at their progress. The last 24 hours has been quite satisfying for me because the bud growth is now steaming ahead. I wish I had taken photos last night but I showed the girls to a friend yesterday and we could see all the bud sites peeking through but when I checked on them this afternoon the buds are exploding through with vigor! Ive taken another video and a fair few bud shots but next week I will be taking more photos to show you more than just top bud growth as these girls are stacking up! Ive always been really envious of other growers who top their plants multiple times and take the time to ensure the canopy is as level as possible but Im quite proud of my girls canopy and multiple top colas! Anyway, so all I have been doing is continuing with a water and seaweed extract feed, still about 5litres each and they had their last top amendment feed last weed which will last them to the end now and I want them to use up as much of the nutrients available in the soil before I start flushing in the next couple of weeks. For anyone reading who doesnt know about flushing, Ill explain. Flushing is a technique used by growers to get rid of as much of the added nutrients in the medium by 'flushing' around 3 times the volume of the pot the plant is growing in with normal tap water (ensuring the water is at the right PH). Essentially you want to flush the plant in 3 batches so that the medium has time to settle between each flush ensuring you get all the nutrients and minerals out of the medium. You will notice that the run off will get lighter and lighter with each batch of flushing which is the nutrients being flushed out. We do this so that the plant is forced to use its own nutrients which in turn I have found also fattens up the buds. This is the time when you start to notice a change of colour in your plants as they start to use up the nutrients stored in the leaves. Dont panic as these deficiencies are just a sign that the nutrients are being used up and you will end up with bud that will dry better and be less prone to mold issues as well as a smoother smoke and better terpene profiles. Just look at that frost... Thats it for this week! ✌️

She truly might be becoming the Gorilla that was promised, huge leaves. Not as pungent or bushy as the Orange Hill beside her but she seems to get there. I'm finally seeing some exponential growth, I'm going to give them as much rest as I can coming weeks to maximize growth before flowering and to prevent (hopefully) them going hermie on me, which both Gorillas and Orange Hill Special are prone to. I have made a video to thank them for letting me use their SP-3000. What a beast of a light!! Thanks again @MarsHydroLED for letting me test this awesome light! I have made a new layer of topsoil made of organic coco-peat, which should help me prevent more fungus gnats. They already seem to hate it and are wandering around in agony trying to dig in... Good for them, freeloading beastards. Now we go to flowering coming weeks, and I can't wait... Thanks for checking in and the likes and support!

First week with drip system.

(Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

Good week so far, I laid my net down , always a Nice feeling when the net goes down and I can start focusing on creating my canopy. I will start bending my branches out to fill the net space up and to create room for lower branches to get some light. I defoliated a bit and stripped the lower branches just after I took these pictures , i know there are different schools of thought surrounding defoliating so soon into flowering , but im doing hst and i like to see what I'm doing dealing with and what my branches are producing. I'm happy so far

Topping appears to be working well. Began some LST via tie down to encourage growth to other branches.
