Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? It is so very hot now every day here. All my girls are suffering from the heat and they need to be watered very frequently. I avoid drying them out completely. Both plants are doing well in the heat. I prefer the structure of the mainlined plant.

3/6: Yesterday I fed half strength nutrients ph'd to both. Amnesia's runoff ph was 5.5. So I made another half gallon of half strength and ph'd it to 7.5 to get Amnesia's runoff to be 6.5. If only I had done this sooner and didn't mess up with the PH testing drops as opposed to using a ph meter, Amnesia's leaves could have still been green. I've been removing all of the dried, crispy ends as I find them, leaving the rest of the leaf intact to suck up as much light as possible. Timelapses are showing that the buds are fattening up well though. Trichome production has kicked in and is covering the leaves. Beautiful colors all around. 3/8: I don't think I can wait any longer to feed Amnesia. Vacation starts midday tomorrow, Thursday, and I'll be away until Monday evening. I'm mixing up a half strength nutrient mix with molasses and epsom salt. I'm also going to try to set up a timer/pump system to water sunday night.

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

6/5/22: - Flipped to flower this morning. New light schedule is 8am-8pm light off, 8pm-8am lights on. 6/6/22: - Officially Day 1 of flower today - Gave a foliar spray of Quillaja wetting agent, Aloe and Coconut powder from build a soil. 6/8/22: - refilled reservoir today - canopy now passed net 6/9/22: - Defoliated today by removing lower growth and fan leaves blocking at canopy

Also had seeds soaking in a drawer with a heat mat on top set to 80*F 11.29 One seed broke soil but grew sideways 11.30 seed that grew sides...pulled seed that had yet to break ground was pulled(taproot dried out) 5 seeds remain(71%)

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are insanely sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice.

She looks so beautiful,unfortunately I could achieve the form I wanted with lst because she was planted too late but I'll grow a big rounded bush of this beautiful strain for sure, and also I can see a few leafs burned because when I started training her the leafs were to close to the tex of the pot and she got burned with the extreme sun that we have here in spain on summer,however she's thriving perfectly and she's ready to give the best in flower,let's see how this gorilla strain performs

This plant was a plant I was not expecting much from. Although this plant has turned into a beast. The plant has crazy vigor and stacks very very well. If this plant smokes well then I will definitely have to get more seeds from this strain and pheno hunt it. Buenas noches fumetillas, de nuevo volvemos, y es que estas green ak xL se están poniendo increíbles, son bastante delicadas a los cambios de temperatura y a las variantes en los nutrientes , hay que ser muy estable y cuidar en los cambios climáticos, si se consigue salen unas flores enorme y llenas de tricomas. Ph controlado, temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos, 1 de los 2 ejemplares que quedan recibirá un lavado de raíces pronto, la otra seguiremos abonándola una o 2 semanas más. La próxima semana nos vemos familia.

11/3 Girls are looking great! They have all been fed once of that same mixture since last update, I may up some nutes and add bloom next water. See a little bit of Browning on a leaf of #1 So we will be keeping a close eye on that. Training is going really well, did no topping just straight LST and excited for the results, as you can see in the pics they have a lot of really nice large looking bud sites, just gonna get a few more exposed to light and air then will stop when veg growth seems to be slowing. Cheese #1 seems to still be a bit smaller but they both are getting nice and bushy just like I remember! Check out pics for more update!

D29 Did top dressing with bone and kelp meal as well as worm castings. D31 Performed a little more LST, a few more days and I will let her do her thing. D32 More LST exposed lower nodes and evened out the canopy. D33 Removed all bonsai wire and rolled down the rim of the pot to even it out with to soil, more airflow. D35 Not much growth but overall looking pretty good. Heatwave last couple days keep temperatures higher than desired.

Welcome to my Royal Gorilla Diary This grow will join the RQS outdor grow contest at later time, I hope i get lucky and bugs won't eat it. After receiving contest box, i asked about germinating indoors, after confirmation i popped a seed in the soil. Germinated in pot indoors (gift pack was massive! see pics), after germination i put outdoor but i kinda forgot her. This one is growing together with a small tobacco plant to keep some unwanted insects away, i want to add some dill and coriander soon. So our royal gorilla is in her second week already, and she looks pretty healthy. Soil is reused soil with new fertilizers added to the soil. I'using a mixture of dried cow poop pellets and chicken poop pellets to give the soil some renewed power. Most of this is in the top layer of the soil (watering from above) so nutrients can be spread extra during watering. This should be enough for the first 6-7 weeks, so when the buds start to take shape we can start with adding some mineral nutrients in addition to the organic feeding.

Más serios logramos agregar la ampolleta pero en las noches para nuestras plantas estamos en los 20g 19g entocnes lo más probable es que tengan o puedan sufrir un estrés x frio ... Y eso es mi mayor preocupación... Cambiamos que su noche sea en las horas más calidad de mi cuidad y sacamos el instractor para evitar aires más helados ... Y x último como son automáticas puedo reducir su ciclo de luz ... Antes teníamos 18/6 ahora estamos 21/3 para evitar más heladas .... Con esto el reporte de nuestra semana 3 Esperamos pa guste !
