Plants are responding well with the gold leaf at 4ml per gallon. The reservoir is starting to have a strong bad smell on day 3. May switch back to ph'd water at 6.5, then add gold leaf at 10ml gallon every 3 days. They're drinking water like crazy. Iowered the light to about 20", running on 580 watt.

DAY 28 flowering: Hi all Hope we are all fine and dandy in the grow diaries world this week. It has been a steady week this week with the ladies now focusing purely on bud site development . The only lady not really thriving is the smaller Mexican airline #1. It does seem she will be all plant and very little yield at this point but we will see it through. She isn't poor by any means but I do think she will have a inferiority complex within these beauties. Heehee Thankfully the other five ladies are powering on and producing some potential big bud sites. The stars of the grow are the Strawberry pie girls. These plants are huge and very, very productive . The lowers are developing some nice bud sites that in themselves look like beasts developing. They have really dense looking flowers that will no doubt become thick and possibly need some support on the side growth but seeing the stem strengths , they may be ahead of that issue themselves already. A perfect strain for an outside run for sure and with no training beside the tip spreading , they have easily now reached approx 4ft tall. The buds start really low on each limb with some node spacing initially large but the growing tips and main stem have a more stacked up bud appearance forming. I think they could possibly top my personal best for the autos at this rate. Both have about the same structure and bud building so I would hazard the same phenotype too. This is the second time I have grown this strain and the last one was very similar too. Very stable and should give some top notch nugs out. Six Shooter #1 is only slightly smaller than the Strawberry pie and has just as many productive side branches that want to show off too. Her sibling #2 was grown a lot flatter after the tip spreading and seems lost down low in the canopy now. She has a lot of buds tucked away but could easily be overgrown by the mexican#2 and Strawberry Pie #2 , if I am not pro active with her progress. As mentioned earlier, the Mexican airlines are both healthy and happy but the #2 is far more productive than the #1 . I do expect that the #1 will harvest a little after the others and that she may come through in the end. Overall these strains are genetic perfection this run . They have done their own thing with only the tip spreading being my intervention initially , and they have produced 6 perfect looking plants that are clearly different strains . From past experiences with these 3 strains , "The best is yet to come " with the development of their unique looking buds. Here comes some down and dirty bud porn only viewable to the faithful.!!! There getting thirsty watered every 2 days last week twice with nutes and once with phd water with molasses coming up in week four Sunday I will do one last defoliation after that I will only pluck leaves that are blocking bud sites !!! 12/31: Two of them are doing well, but the 3rd is doomed I think. Glad I started an extra #11! Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Weird...the one I thought would die, still hasn't. Her second set of leaves died, but the third is starting to grow? Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts each of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of Miracle LED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

26-09-2021: 3rd week of veg-stage. Great. Will the be the last week or am I going to let them grow another week. I am switching to 12/12 as soon as the containers are not visible anymore. Then I also put the light on 100% power (75 right now). I sprayed the leaves with Hy-Pro Spraymix. Also topped the Runtz Muffin to slow her down a bit. Ladies almost touching the SCROG-net so probably next week starting to SCROG. I like that period on soil. Had no succes on hydro jet so I am curious how this will go. 27-09-2021: Ok.. The growth is good now, it's nice to see how they get a boost as soon as the roots hit the water. 5 cm in 1 night is really no exception. In the meantime, the first Gelato has just tapped it, so topped it right away. Now in doubt... The EC is at 1.1 and as you can see in the diagram below, the EC decreases slightly over a period of 3 days and the PH increases slightly. In fact, this indicates that the EC set is now almost perfect. (In a perfect situation the values ​​remain the same and only the water level drops). So I can go up slightly with the EC and the system is set up in such a way that as soon as the clock turns the EC goes to 1.4.
