Sleepy Joe Coco Clones

tuzeus Topped them once. Growth has been slowed down, this is my first time with clones and I kept the ppfd too low and Ec was too low. Didnt want to overfeed them in the begining but it looks like I dialed in and corrected everything. Looks good now, will let them grow for a week and then check again for second topping or repot.

tuzeus Week 4 has started, the tent fills out nicely. I’m about to repot them the next days and top them for a second time. I will also use two scrogs but more as a spacer than a traditional scrog. I flushed on day 26 because of ph drift in my coco. Leaves were showing a variety of deficiencies and toxicity, so I thought the problem is ph related.

tuzeus I enhanced fertilizer to 1.6 ec. I topped them for a second time last week and repot them from 3.5 to 10.5 l. As of now I will keep them in veg for 2 more weeks. I want to align the tops in a 6x6 pattern and have more space filled out. I dont care for the length of veg, all I want is high quality buds.

tuzeus Its the beginning of week 6 of veg. All Im doing at the moment is playing the waiting game for the space to fill out completely to kick them into flower. I regularly tie down them tops to allign them in a 6x6. No change in fertilizer or anything else. I think I will give them one last defol at the beginning of next week and then wait a couple of days to kick them into flower. I wont take long for flower to come.

tuzeus I wanted to cut away some of the lower leaves and totally overdid it. I think I have to veg for a week longer. Anyways now I can water again better and I have better overview of which branch is going where under the scrog. idk, lets see at the end of the grow if it was worth it. They did recover well from the defol. Last week I also installed a new scrog net with a frame for better stability.

tuzeus Last week of veg, all of them had a defol again and now all of my 36 tops are separated. Tbh I’m super surprised that none of my stems broke, this is the first time this happened in all of my grows since I started training them haha. I will wait again for 3-5 days for them to recover from their defol stress and then I will flip them to flower

tuzeus Hello everyone, I haven’t upload much last week as I got the flu and still have. I still managed to kick my plants into flower 3 days prior to this post. I added power buds to my feeding solution but didn’t increase anything, I think I current dose is a bit to high anyway. They are looking healthy except for the brighten up new leaves. Idk if it’s normal, but I observed it in all of my grows.

tuzeus Hello, they are stretching and are looking different every day. All i do is leaf tucking to let them bud sides get enough light until I defoliate around day 21. But I’m liking this so for. Looks promising.

tuzeus All looking healthy and they’re thriving. Just waiting for defol day. I do leaf tucking from time to time. I will change nutrients starting week 4 and add green sensation as give in the plagron feeding schedule.

tuzeus So I did a lot of defoliation yesterday. They look completely naked now but is also benefits the humidity. I had problems to keep it under 60, now I’m under 50. Maybe I will use a dehumidifier later on. I added green sensation to the mix with a lower dose of 0.5ml per liter but will up it the next days. I’m still super pleased with this grow. Gonna be a nice harvest.

tuzeus I think I ran into a slight nitrogen toxicity as the leaves are dark green and have a slight tip burn. I think I will change my calmag to use one that has lower nitrogen. Still looking good

tuzeus Buds are starting to thicken up. I changed my nutrients like mentioned in the last post. Maybe I will defoliate in a couple days but I always remove a couple leaves every 3 to 4 days. Let’s see. My only concern is that they look like they don’t fit into my tent if they thicken up too much. I mean it’s better to cut a few branches off than having too less.

tuzeus Buds are getting bigger and smelling more and more. I defoliated a bit on day 40 for better light penetration. Nothing else to say.

tuzeus Don’t know what to write. All good. Only mistake I made was not watering with an automated system. Hand watering sucks. They got aprox about a month if not less. Cheers.

tuzeus So this is the Start of week 9, today is day 57 of flower. Strain is supposed to have 8-9 weeks of flower. Before I started I was thinking of 10 weeks of flower. Let’s see how the week is going. I took some trichome shots but they are not ready yet. I’m thinking of 2-3 weeks left. I will use Athena fade for the last 2 weeks. Maybe I will change to that in the next week. I keep my humidifier running so I have a constant 40-45% of humidity, max 50. Cheers.

tuzeus This is maybe the last week. Trichomes are milky but also clear, I’m still waiting for the amber. Even though I don’t want much amber. Maybe I will chop this weekend, I’ll decide in the next days. I fucked up a bit with the light. I see some foxtailing even though it’s not really concerning. I changed to the Athena fade to eliminate nitrogen. I’m expecting way more fade in the next days. The end is near. Cheers.
