I also have to give the grown-ups at least 3-4 weeks vegi, because there is still no space in the bloom chamber 😂 But it gets exciting too, 5 topping bushes and 6 normal ones, unfortunately I can't top the 6 normal ones because of space constraints 🙈. Both of them Purple Punch sprouted. Surprised me that, within 24hours in glass of water she showed her root. Will let her veg from now on, as for this grow i am experimenting a fully organic grow without big-bud. Damn it big bud, i wish you are organic hahaha🙃. As for the soil, i doubt there is enough nutes for her to grow so i am going to top dress with bat guano.

Harvest time! 112 days from seed, 70 days from switching the light to 12-12. This is the last update before the harvest. I saw the first amber trichome earlier this week. I've flushed for the last couple days. I'm going to take her down right after I finish this post. I wait to see a little amber to harvest but I don't want too much amber as that means the stone will be more couch lock and less psychoactive. She continues to smell great but not strong. She is looks frosty, delicious and done to me.

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. So this experiment is going terribly! LOL This ulitmately taught me a few important things about this sytle of growing. 1.) My Frequency was way to high in the beginning. When i start over next, i will be going for 1 hr -> Spray for 1 min -> Wait 1hr (Repeat) 2.) Never reuse hydroton or CC. It ends up having left over material and nutes in it, which not matter how much you wash just make the soil a land mine of nutrients etc. 3.) Do no use rockwool cubes inside the medium, they hold onto water for too long leading to rot. 4.) Fill the buckets up right until about 2cm short of the nozzles that spay. Otherwise you lose too much water and nutrients to the misting, which spreads your nutes all over the enviroment. Ultimately, even though this is a living disaster, I have learnt valuable lessons, and who knows, some of them still might produce smokable flower!

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

Very interesting how this one is flowering, she is staying low and fat stems with small chunky buds in the making, lots of trichomes on fan leaves and Calyxes will be fat and in a circular fashion exactly like a ball, or a flower like a rose. She is very healthy and resistant to stress but on the low side she does not smell much and this surprise me due to her look but maybe terpenes will develop later hopefully! Just water this week, decided to water from the bottom, not from the top, I am hoping this will reduce chance of overwatering....

Just feeding the botanicare pure blend pro grow now , her soil ppm has been pretty steady on the one lady. he lighter color bigger girl has been super hungry . She's gonna be a monster the nodes swelled up to support some monster branches. Can't wait to see how they fill out. Gotta water them later so I'll snap some photos of the stalk and limbs just to show how bulky they have gotten. But they are looking great , been stupid easy so far just keeping the soul free of salt building up aswell as trying my best to not over fertilize .. (nitrogen is pretty high I've noticed the darker green on the other girls. Besides the smaller plant it's PH is low from the automatic watering thing im trying out) Really trying to get more time so I could be alil more detailed. New growers ask about my water routine but it's hard for me to explain atm . Gonna work on it and see of I can do these any better. Very satisfied and impressed lasted a little bit longer than I expected in vegetation. Enjoying the process and learning

unfortunatly the weather changed and temperature outside dropped down to 12 degrees celsius. It had a big impact on my plants. One plant after another wilted and i tossed 28 of them. The substrate is also to wet and maybe it was to often recycled. Only 42 plants left and only some really look healthy like they should. I have to start again with new seeds to fill may table. I am so angry about the wasted time.
