Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

She grows alone for one month with everything automatic cause i went in hoiliday for one month. Everything went really really good. :D

They already have a really great start. Both of the seedling pushed the seed shell off without any help. Every day that passes these 2 plants are showing there going to be really strong plants already. I'm already getting excited to try the final flower from these plants even thou there seedlings idk what it is about the name blackberry moonrocks just has me seeing stars I think these plants are going to be winners

Hey Friends, end of week 8 from seed :) Many new things have occurred this week Plant 1 is beginning to mature, its not growing in height as much as before but now its getting thicker and looking stronger. I am slowing increasing the amount of nutrition, I don't want to burn them at this stage. I noticed some of the leaf stems were turning red, so I decreased the light and its turning back to green. Did some defoliation this week to give more room to the smaller leaves. Plant was getting taller and was too close to the grow Light so I installed some netting inside the tent and it helped control the height for now, if it gets taller ill purchase a bigger grow tent 😩 Looking forward in seeing some bud formation in week 9, will keep you guys posted. Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

So I suspect the Golden Goat to have subtle mag def. I’ve upped the Epsom salts a bit to help. Also the Mandarine XL Auto is amazing and this discoloration in its leaves I believe to be from getting handled and snagging on the trellis when bending through. I try to be delicate, but it shows. I’ve not been taking meticulous account of things but here’s as of day 19… Day 19: Low/High - 66F at night, 76F during the day. Moisture Levels: set @ 56% RH Moisture level fluctuations from 54%-68% depending on time and temperature as well as moisture levels in the pot itself. As the pot gets dry I will lower the VPD a bit. Fly Traps: CLEAN-w/ 2 fungus gnats (1/week) both located @ MXL (MXL= Mandarine XL Auto) No signs of mold or mildew. Ventilation Setting: Humidity 57% RH Light Intensity (Dimmer Switch @ 75%) 3” tall. The Critical Purple Autoflower shares the tent: while exhibiting signs similar to mosaic virus, I believe this to not be the case, and instead a genetic pigment deformation possibly induced from the high UV LED lights. I’m only basing this theory of of other anecdotes. I’m not willing to test the contagion properties, but I’m going to pop a seed for just that purpose. Until then I wear gloves or wash hands and sterilize equipment before and after each plant until I can rule out a contagion or not. Planing to update my feed and get some ppm measurements. Also I’m thinking the MXL is ready for a little Regalia and a foliar feed. Only thing is a 2 hour window from 3-5am! But I will feed a little Regalia and Venerate sometime this week.

Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. Did defoliation on my plants , still waiting preflower confirmation, i made my first timelapse video using my spare LG G5 phone that i drove over accidentally one time, still work , even though the screen is wasted... anyways modern problems need modern solutions, and my problem is money, so remember kids, always think of modern solutions , dont buy a gopro hero6 when you already have an old phone...

Week 4 has started. Not much to do but wait and see how they turn out now. Everything seems nice and lush. Hoping for a spectacular finish.

Just pulled it today. Lots of pics to come and the weigh in. Going to update everything as I cure. Curing is going well. Speed dried a little as I’m impatient as hell. Pretty happy with the results. This White Widow strain is very good. Extremely resistant to bugs. I’ve dealt with a spider infestation throughout this grow and only got it under control in the last few weeks. Daily maintenance and cleaning got me through flower and I was able to pull this off. At harvest it was cut and immediately went into a bud wash to clean them up and remove any leftover mites, residue, etc. I usually do a bud wash, especially if it’s outdoor. If done properly it has no impact and I find it produces a smoother taste tbh. This was my second attempt at dwc. I’m very happy with it and will continue. I’ll update the weights when things are cured.

Day 1 of week 3 today. Everything seems ok added some pk booster no problems so far. Update on more photos for this week. Feeding 1.7ec and no signs of burn etc maybe up the ec to 1.9 see wot the bitches can handle. Feed just ph water once every1/2 weeks

Seems to BE alright so far. Banana Kush plants are Like 1-2 ahead of the Skunk XL I guess.

Plants seem to have responded well to the flushing between week 14-15. They were flushed for seven days with nothing but neutral water to help with the nute burn. New nutes were added after that. Fan leaves are dying and buds are fattening. Checked trichomes and I’m thinking I will begin flushing this week. I’m hoping for a 10-14 day flush unless I start seeing a lot of amber. I’m feeling torn and may harvest the purple trainwreck plants at two different times. There are a lot of cloudy trichomes but there’s still lots of white pistils being thrown out as well. Didn’t see much amber, some buds have more clear trichomes than others. The clone’s buds appear further along than the mother plant. I may flush only one plant this week and start the flush on the other in another week or so. The widow x plant isn’t ready to flush and is growing strong. I accidentally left my timer on “on” when I left during a weekend during week 3 of flower. The widow x plant started to reveg a bit from the 48 hours of light. I forgot this happened entirely and for a while couldn’t figure out why the buds weren’t fattening... but I’m fairly certain that is why that plant stalled so long. So far no hermies or males! That was several weeks ago. I’m now on week seven of flower so I’m hopeful for a completely seedless grow. I will continue adding photos throughout this week. Harvested the bottom branches off to make room for my next flowering plant. I couldn’t wait any longer, it’s getting too tall and I’ll run out of room. This is the clone that was taken the same time as the flowering PT clone. It has been in a veg tent since being removed from the flowering tent. Buds from lower stems are drying and look good so far... Wet weight- .75 ounces~ 21 grams Dry weight- ~.20 ounces~ 5.5 grams

Hello everyone🙌 Gals showed no more interest in food anymore since last week,but they happily drink plain water😆 I give them 2l daily for past week. I think couple more feedings with plain water and it will be chop chop time😏 Buds already looks really dense,mature,frosty and delicious lol Aroma is very fresh and sweet. Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do?
