2/17 Day 22: Sorry for missing Week 2 on here guys got kinda busy here lately and haven't had the chance to update as much. Week 2 was a breeze no issues so far what so ever.. Now moving on to this week and she is definitely moving right along. She is staying short but the side branches are stretching out nicely. I have started the LST and she has taken well to it already. Her trunk has gotten very thick very fast which is always a good sign 👌 👏 👍. Will be updating again here soon stay posted guys.🔥

I think this is last week for all 3 ChemPie. Now I can say,that I try almost all Rippers strains. Every single plant was perfect. I try Zombie kush,zombie bride,DO-G,Brain cake,Sindarel,Washing machine etc. Old school(cheese×Black domina),exelent strain....

Day 80 Harvesting was a bit of a trick with this one because I used to Trellis Nets but it went very smoothly no accidents and in the end I ended up with a staggeringly large amount of wet weight. My wet weights have a minimal amount of stock so that they more accurately represent the actual weight of the flower itself. In three days roughly I will be putting in the dry weight and then putting all the flowers into curing. welcome to Day 83 this will be my last update i have now done my final trim and got my dry weight 362.30 gram's !! off one plant. that's 12.77 ounce's i don't sell but my god if i didn't care about laws lol, For a plant thats no cured i will sat it tastes smooth AF and has a nice head high that i didn't really expect from her being that its not cured and didn't really look like she had tones of trichomes. Chopped and drying in the mess rack, will update in about two weeks, with dry weight and smoke/flavor/high profile. She was a great plant to grow and I'm excited to smoke this strain! Update June 18, amazing smoke and flavor! Dry weight came in at 45.5 grams, 44 on th scale as I removed 1.5g for the smoke test. Blue Dream is impressive, great color in the buds, nice high to go along with it!

I supercropped the tall Enemy of the State branches that were in the light. As you can see In the video there was no light burn! We also have about 30” of light penetration even though I’ve not performed any defoliation! Loving these lights.

Week 3, first nutrient treatment

2nd topped on day 20 and she is reacted well to HST, she is too busy with growing, there is no time to get stunted. I give her 1/3 of the feed schedule’s recommendation. Soon I will switch to bottom feed. DLI has been set to 30. Day 26 - today I installed the Megapot system. She has been transplanted from a 5 gal bag to a 6 gal one, it was quite a torture I must say. More stress for the plant. I had to do this for the better drainage. Was it a stupid move? We shall see.

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain.
