6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Fed them about 15 days ago started to show some deficiencies but they should start being absorbed by the plant now so hopefully they do well in the last 5 weeks of life hopefully I'll drop the temperatures down enough to where they'll go purple I'm praying that they do any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks for stopping by

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Wk8 Flower (2nd week of flower day 15) So this week has been another quiet week. I have been pinching out big fan leaves that are cover multiple tops to persuade even growth over the canopy. I have also cleaned out under her skirt a bit more to get rid of the unwanted and wasted growth. Only water with EM1 has been added to the res over the week she is currently drinking up to 6ltrs a day and growing around an inch taller in a 24hour period. I noticed a bad stagnant smell coming from the res so have added some lacto bacillus serum which should help that settle. Although the plant isn't complaining bad smells normally means bad microbes which in numbers are very bad. She is showing alot of pistols now and I'd expect to see bud sites prominent by end of the week mind you I don't actually think she has fully started to stretch yet! I'm keeping an eye on her closely as next week I am away and was hoping that stretch would have come and gone by now. We will see!! This week I plan to add some water soluable calcium and an alfalfa seed sprout tea. I've started to drop my humidity down every couple of days to simulate change and have my light set at 40cm

Las plantas siguen engordando que dan miedo, no han estirado mucho, pero las flores están gordas y duras como piedras. El aroma terroso se ha acentuado esta semana. Por parte de la planta mutante sigue con su curiosa historia, atrajo cochinilla algodonosa y un tipo de gusano verde (dejo video) Ese dia quite el gusano y pase de la planta, no tenia tiempo y me fui desanimado pensando como lidiar con las plagas ahora en engorde, siendo una pesadez el limpiar a mano hoja por hoja. Pues al dia siguiente se hizo la magia de la madre naturaleza, llegué preparado para limpiarla y la planta estaba perfecta, ni rastro del mas mínimo insecto. Me estaba dando unas caladas mientras miraba la planta intentando entender que había pasado y de repente aparece una avispa y empieza a pasar por la parte inferior de todas las hojas de la planta y el tallo, respetando las flores xD Queda explicado, apareció la señora avispa y se dio un festín con tanto insecto y huevos que habían en la planta, conseguí grabarla un poco con el teléfono. Siempre había odiado a las avispas y mira por donde me salio una amiga / aliada inesperada, puede venir cuando quiera, esta invitada a comer xD

Guys, I did it! I managed to get to the end of my grow with no problems and a whopping dry weight of 189 grams (6.6 oz). I am over the moon with the outcome, especially considering this was my first time. The buds have been curing for 12 days now, breaking down extra chlorophyll for a smoother smoke. The aromas are subtle when putting your nose in the jars—nothing crazy—but when you break into a bud, it smells absolutely amazing. It has an aroma almost like Stardog, with a diesel, piney, and gassy scent. As for the taste, the buds are just as impressive! They taste exactly how they smell: diesel, piney, and gassy, much like a Stardog. The effect is incredible; it numbed my whole body and put me in a couch lock state. This strain is probably not the best for daytime smoking due to its potent, body-numbing effect. I can't wait to continue this journey with my next grow!

Made it to harvest w 2 so far! Oozecake is a couple extra days. Boy she tastes amazing! Will ice her tomorrow and put her in 48 hrs of dark before I harvest. What an experience it has been! Can’t wait to try after the cure.

Was an easy grow, took lst and defoliation well. Only took 70 days from seed to harvest with roughly 10-15% amber trichomes. In the last couple of weeks of flowering she absolutely stank! And she got frostier by the day, if you rub a fan leaf and smell your fingers you get a sweet mango at first then rub a bit more and you get more fruits, citrus and maybe berries 🤤 I really can’t wait to smoke some, I hope she tastes as well as she smells. I’ve made up a dry box with a computer fan stuck in the side at the top and draw vents in the sides at the bottom covered with filter. Humidity is around 54% and temp at 20°c currently in the box, all sealed for 5 days. After opening the box on day 5 I closed it up for another two days as it wasn’t quite ready. Trimmed up after 7 days of drying and I’ve been left with 64.09g of good bud and 7.61g of fluff and a lot of trim! After a couple of days in a jar the humidity is at 59%.
