So far so good. A little discoloration in a few leaves. Bud sites forming. Weird weather we've been having and temps in the box jumped up into the 90's. That being said I went ahead and made the switch to LED. Wish I would have switched sooner. Temps fell almost 20F. Sure some has to so with the outside temps dropping back down but this thing runs so cool. Great light penetration but not sure if the intensity is enough. Time will tell. She pretty much stopped eating and drinking. I read that prior to flowering they will slow down overall uptake and slow down growth as well. I don't quite remember that from my last grow but I do remember there being a huge flowering stretch. I'm switching over to bloom nutes next week after a flush so hopefully she'll get the nutes she needs/wants.

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

So there is actually very little work this week .. She has been a real joy to grow so far.. I do understand what they meant by pheno-hunting...

Grow diary / germination / The new adventure begins Hello, dear grower friends! 😊 I’m back with a new grow diary and a new adventure. This is my second grow and I’m excited to try new things and improve my skills. I’m thankful for all the support and feedback I’ve received from you . 🙏 In this week’s update, I want to talk about: My setup My seeds My germination My expectations My setup My setup is still an 80 by 80 by 180 cm tent, which is a bit small but nothing else fits in my room. I’m very satisfied with it for the beginning, but I will get a Homebox for the third run because I find the zippers better processed and the inlay reflects more light. My lamp is a LUmatek 200 watt pro edition, which I’m absolutely happy with. It has great handling and processing and it gives enough light for my plants. If I get a smaller tent for a mother plant, I will order from Lumatek again 110 percent. My exhaust is twice as strong as I need it so I can keep it at a quiet 50 percent. It keeps the air fresh and the temperature stable. The temperature is around 25°C and the humidity is around 60%. I water my plants manually according to the Biobizz fertilizer scheme. I use organic nutrients and adjust the pH of the water. The plants are in Lightmix now and will move to 20 l fabric pots in Allmix when transplanting. My seeds As seeds I have this time: 1 Orange Sherbert from Barneys Farm 1 Bruce Banner 1 Apple Fritter 2 Lemon Gelato from a collaboration of Zamnesia and Kannabia These are all very special strains that I’m curious to try. The Lemon Gelato seeds were limited to 500 and I hope they will be fantastic. Of course I have conserved some for later grows. My germination I germinated the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours and then planted them in small pots with Lightmix. They sprouted after 2-3 days and are now showing their first true leaves. They look healthy and happy, except for one Lemon Gelato seed that didn’t make it, which was probably my fault. The other one is very lively. I have them under the lamp at 18/6 light cycle and at about 50 cm distance. I water them every two days with a spray bottle and a little bit of root juice. My expectations I’m looking forward to the new challenge, especially because it’s a mix of 4 strains this time and I hope we can build on past successes. I want to improve my scrog technique and top the plants at least 3 times. I also want to try mainlining on one of them. On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.2. I defoliated leaves blocking the inside/lower canopy to give more light to lower growth points keeping the top 2 leaves on cola tops. The girls are deff still stretching :) So far so good. I'm glad I flipped to flower early this run and could see even dropping the veg time by another week. Its tough working in a small grow space but I'm determined to master it lol. I lowered the lights intensity from 85% to 75% to give my tops 600-800 PPFD. Usually I just blast the plants with 100% until the stretch is over but I'm realizing that I'm way over doing it based on my quantum sensors data. On day 2 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. The girls are still stretching and putting out new preflowers. My tallest cola is 9" from the light(the other lower colas are between 10"-12" away from grow light). On day 3 I adjusted the reservoirs PH up from 6.0 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 8.5" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 10" away from light. On day 4 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. My tallest cola is 7.5" from my grow light and the average/lower cola distance from grow light is 10-11". I defoliated large leafs that are blocking lower bud sites and or touching each other causing wet spots on the leaves. I want as much airflow as possible as I can not control my night time humidity which can be as high as 80%-90%. My last run I noticed some sugar leaves touching my grow box walls and this caused them to start rotting. I want to avoid that this time around so I'm being careful not to have any wet spots from leaves laying on each other as well as keeping all colas far enough from my walls. In the future I would like to have the ability for de humidification but being in a small grow box in a garage makes it difficult to control my lung room. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH up from 6.1 to 6.3. My tallest cola is 7" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10" away from light. I defoliated and removed lower bud sites not receiving enough light. On day 6 the reservoirs PH is 6.1. My tallest cola is 6.5" from the grow light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10". My tallest cola is getting 1000 PPFD while my lowers are 600-800 PPFD. On day 7 I changed out the reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. The tallest cola is 6" from the light. Lower colas are mostly 9"-10"

20.05 Noticed one girl with some drinking issues ... maybe some problem with the capilar effect of the autopot system. Top watered this plant and will inspect that one a bit closer the next days. Except that am really happy about the grow at the moment, the autopot system safe so much time, it's impressive. 22.05 Installed a ScrOG net

Loads shearing is still on going. 2-4 hour of no elec!! Not ideal to say the least. All things considered the plants are doing fantastic. They are starting to put on some size. The smell coming from the tent it's crazy😍

Has been a good week for the girls. They really exploded this week. I can't keep up with the ties. They got too big to have a level canopy. Will have to adjust later this week after defoliation and lollipopping. Will be a huge week and the girls will look different next time you see them!

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! Hello, everyone. I want to inform you that the week went well. I noticed that the stems at the bottom, closer to the pot, are thinner, while the stems higher up, closer to the top, are thicker. We acquired supports for our girl due to her height. Because of the height, she was too close to the lamp, and I don't know how it will affect her in the future. We'll hope for the best. We fixed the mistake. The lamp was 5 cm from the top in some places. Now it's 30 cm. Thanks to everyone who reads my updates, follows the diary, and gives likes – you're awesome.

Day 95 GDP harvested and starting dry process. Day 95 for the Tropicana cookies purple auto and northern thunderfuck auto. Both looking great. Tropicana really starting to reek the whole tent out sweet funky arouma. Looks light it’s starting to fade out nitrogen as well 🤞 Northern is stacking up buds hopefully will continue fattening for a couple more weeks. Soil all the flower tents look very alive and healthy. Lots of wigglers thriving under the mulch layer.
