Week 23 - kitty says hi! This lady is getting out of control. We're 4 weeks from harvesting. Autumn gets very wet and last year I had bud rot, so end of october is the last day. I really need to defoliate to give those buds all the sun they can get.

5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Monday the seeds came and I started 5 blueberry kush autoflower from Nirvana. The plan is to put the best 2 in the grow tent the rest outside in a fabric pot .

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Another week has passed. We noticed uneven growth and the presence of 3 leaves per node. This week the air humidity is very low, so we are watering every day. We also did the Main-Lining on the third node, we used the top part to make a clone, started the LST and did supercropping on the side branches. This is the first time we've done Main-Lining and suppercropping, so let us know if we're doing something wrong. Tips are very welcome!

Buenas amig@s, pues una semana más y pues contento con el crecimiento la verdad, no he tenido problemas con los insectos 🐜 tras pulverizar el insecticida natural que ya os comenté. Tras cambiar la tierra que tenia en un principio por la proporción turba-perlita 50/50 he notado que el crecimiento es mas rápido y el agua se retiene mucho mas. Gracias y ansioso por ver el final de mi primer cultivo, parece que octubre se va a hacer rogar, y en tanto tiempo podrían salir mal tantas cosas que me tiene de los nervios LOL pero bueno, mente fría, esperanza y alegría.
