Grow Diaries Report: Flower Week 1 – Stretch Madness & Heavy Grooming 🌿🚀 Week 9 – Flower Week 1 Update The flowering phase has officially kicked off, and wow, this plant is on a mission to touch the sky! The stretch this week has been intense, with the plant shooting up significantly. To manage her vigor and focus her energy on bud production, I’ve had to step in with defoliation and additional lollipopping. This Week’s Highlights Massive Stretch: The plant stretched dramatically this week, filling up the vertical space in the tent. Defoliation: I removed a significant amount of fan leaves to improve light penetration to the lower branches. Lollipopping Redux: Further cleaned up the lower parts of the plant, focusing her resources on the top colas. What I Did Lollipopping: Removed more of the lower branches and leaves that were unlikely to contribute to bud production. Defoliation: Took off some large fan leaves to improve airflow and light exposure throughout the canopy. Nutrients: Continued with the bloom feeding schedule, ensuring a balance of phosphorus and potassium for flower development. Environment Management: Adjusted the light height to prevent light burn and tweaked the fan placement to improve airflow in the now more open canopy. Observations The plant’s stretch has been both impressive and challenging, but the defoliation and lollipopping seem to be working. The top canopy looks well-lit and primed for flower development. No signs of stress from the grooming, which is always a relief during such an aggressive stretch. Challenges The rapid vertical growth is pushing the limits of the grow tent. I’ll need to monitor her closely to prevent overcrowding or light burn. Next Steps Keep monitoring the stretch over the next week—potential supercropping if necessary to control height. Fine-tune the nutrient schedule to ensure the plant has everything it needs as bud sites develop. Maintain low humidity to reduce the risk of mold or mildew during early flowering. Conclusion The first week of flowering has been an explosive start! It's a quite jungle, but I like it wild. New tent is postponed to next week, I really need it though, those plants would appreciate getting their artificial sun dose, instead tryingto push through the roof. Tried another way to take photos, but until we get more room, they're gonna be whatever.. Light schedule is still 13 hours, I should probably change it to 12 soon, though target is still one month and then reduction to 12 h. Nothing got topped this time, maybe I should've, but the new tent will bring some workaround room. I'm still trying to understand the plant behavior and their limits.

This was the runt of the bunch from the beginning and started flowering a week before the others. Seemed like in veg it didn't have enough nitrogen (yellow/green leaves) and in flower it had too much causing the bottom new leaves to grow kinda mutated and dark green. Even with those issues she still packed on solid dense buds covered in trichomes. pulled off 253 grams wet after trimming and 57 grams of trim will update with dry weight when ready

These were left in soil outside and forgot about , luckily my wife watered them as they were in the pollytunnel, I left one plant outside but after 6 weeks I brought brought the rest inside to finish them. They were in small pots but still produced 20-30 g each , I'd say 25g average plus the trim. If your after easy to grow plants with a nice taste these are them.

Fed only distilled water every 3-5days. 3 in growth this week now starting to bloom out good.just kept n eye out on the temps and humidity daily. So far no problems. Just a waiting game now. N see how well these lil ladies develoce all organic too....

She's growing slowly

February 20, 2019 update: The good news is the babies are all growing, the not so good news is there seems to be a slight bug infestation. Since taking these pics and video I have sprayed them with a mild Neem Oil & Water mix (about 20:1), hoping that helps. I also have a few clones looking a little funky, but that's OK with me, out of these 16 babies I really only have room for 9-12 in my flowering area and 12 would be pushing it. The MediKush & DinaMed seedlings are doing great. DinaMed's are still taller, but the MediKush has some beautiful tight nodes.

not so pretty buds, but through their fragrance they are unforgettable flowers for me. It smells beautiful of grapefruit
