Grow Report Week 14: The Final Phase of Flowering is Approaching Hello dear grow friends, We’re starting a new week, and I’m pleased to report that everything is going well. Although the rear area of the grow is not yielding as lush results as the front, I am overall very satisfied, especially with the scents. Scent and Resin All plants really smell excellent and are well-resined, which indicates a good effect. I expect that the plants will need about 2-3 more weeks to mature. Expectations and Hopes I hope that especially the plants in the rear area will catch up a bit. The next few weeks will show how the buds will develop in their fullness and potency. Day 36: Feed this morning but kind of switched out Bud Blood for Igniter. The Buds are growing. My training skills are weak and I'm completely overwhelmed trying to even start defoliation. Kind of like an ok parent but don't care if your kids need a haircut and when you take em to the shop they cry when the barber combs to cut. Besides that though my 1st grow is pretty epic. Looking @ what I've been doing and seeing them from seed to what I have now. I don't know the formula for life but maybe this gives me The Blueprint. (D.O.C & Jay-z like). Observing and watching the light's and Temps. Trying to stay in that 85 degree 54% humidity range. Shout out to Weedexpress for checking my grow. All Seeds germinated!!! Day 37: Think I have been over-feeding my plants so fed them....lol yep just a solution of sensi-cal,Voodo, B-2, Superbud xfactor and mikes og tea......no more bud blood and gonna ride out with the igniter. Woke up an hour b4 they did and snatched each one out the tent and defoliated. Each one I spent about 20 minutes on defoliating and getting rid of bottom layer. They looked a bit lollipopish and getting ready to cast this net. I have some huge branches and some of the buds are starting to look like the picture you see in the grows. I really am appreciating the work that it takes and the thought behind growing. 9ish: starting some training and pulled the branches down, tied and put some trainers of 2 of my plants. I got plans to train my GC's since they are stretching. That canopy is pretty open so think gonna get good light inside canopy! Thinking about my next feeding 2morrow, which usually equates to when I get off work. I'm gonna stay with my veg base and go again with Bud Blood. I like the way it made my buds kind of dazzle into sun burst buds. I'm pretty dialed into my veg mixture and am going to start mixing in a 5 gallon jug only to ensure that I have enough for 2 feeds. My plants are really devouring these nutrients and have had very little nutrition burn. Trying to make sure that my root system is healthy so that I can get a decent yield to hold me over the winter. Of course with the winter comes the holiday season and what better gift to give 420 candy canes sprinkled with kief....these are a few of my favorite things!!!!! When the leaves shake When the Buds break I'm feeling crank I simply remember my favorite things And then I just smoke.... my dank!!!! Day 40: igniter definitely creates more bud blooms areas...my growth is so thick and the buds pretty big. Got a feeding lined up in the morning and probably gonna with heavy feeding and touch all my roots. Going heavy on igniter again. My grow lights beneath the canopy is doing amazing work as the buds beneath are also amazingly big. Also spay with a mix of Grease and Green Goddess maybe twice a day to keep nutrition in the foliage. Day 41 or 42 and possibly even 43: Somewhere but I'm in my 2nd week of flower and working this week on Igniting my grow b4 going into OverDrive. Gave an honest feeding a day later than normal. The Buds are popping and you can kind of see what the Bud Ignite is doing as far as the multiple bloom locations are a plenty. Went with the net but took back down, want more height and not disturb the current situation but have a feeling will need it a bit later to help with these heavy bud limbs! Day 47: So my babies have bigs buds and an issue. Defoliation day was ah coming and did I have to cut. Spent like 20 minutes on each plant cutting, 🍭 'n and manicuring. They are incredibly stout and stretching. Got a few more feeds b4 I flush so gonna stick with the Overdrive and Ignite. Day 48: fed da girls and went with Bud Blood instead of Ignite. Day 49: so I'm checking out my grow and for some reason I grabbed some water only....just felt like I've been so caught up in the nutrients forgetting basics. So since in the last 3 weeks gonna concentrate on budding and k Defoliation. My buds are definitely gonna be huge and ripe. So getting closer to curing and got a bunch of huge mason jars @ TJ Max. For curing along with Bovida 65% packs. As for a drying tent gonna go with hanging in paper bags. Getting into curing mode so that when these are ready I can get my FF's potted and 🎄 grow on. I want to clone a few if these FF's 4sure for Christmas gifts and have plenty of holiday cheer to share.

They seem to be settling in well and starting to kick into growth mode. All but 1 of 17 had roots in the water when I brought them over from the Cloner. The 1 holdout is finally dropping roots now and they’re almost in the water. I’ve been using a syringe to wet the bottom of the net pot to encourage downward growth and to keep the emerging tips moist. A bit of root discolouration, but I’m reasonably certain this is just runoff from the Root Riot starter cubes I wrapped around the root crowns. I’ll let them gain a bit more height then too them. I’m thinking I’ll do a clean 4 cola per plant configuration.

The buds are very tight, but they didn't grow large colas so that means wasted time trimming cannabis, which I am not a huge fan of. I will not be growing this strain again, as I believe there are far better breeders and strains out there. I will continue to seek out the best breeders and strains until I am satisfied. I believe this Auto will yield in the 16-22 Ounce range dry, so I am not super disappointed, but I know I can do much better than this. After 6 days of drying, it took me around 7 hours to trim this auto, and she ended up yielding 16.72 Ounces. So she was definitely on the lower end of the spectrum from what I estimated on chop day, but still in the range. The buds are very tight, and smell like like cheese. I am only running one mature auto at a time now, so next up will be the Acid Dough from Ripper Seeds. I hope everyone has a great rest of your weekend, stay safe and Blaze On!!

Plants are doing well. Watering roughly once weekly continues to be the current schedule. In this week's watering (week 6, Thursday), a nutrient mix was added (19% Nitrogen, 5% Phosphate, 20% K2O). pH was measured (via the runoff/drainage water collected) on all three plants using a pH probe, of which was measured to be slightly acidic for all plants (exact pH numbers above in the photo descriptions). We are aiming for a pH range of 6.0-7.0, so in next week's watering, we will add a buffer solution to alkalize the soil. All three plants lower branches were also pruned.

March, 19th. The Triple G stopped stretching They are concentrating in budforming. The Plants looking "leggy"... bud flowers sitting along the Branches I topdressed Silica, for making Branches stronger Iam fertilising every other Day with 3ml/l Organic Bloom Liquid , and 2ml/l Organic more PK I discovered Spidermites on one Triple G Plant... aaaarg😈 I have no clue why😒 I ordered Predators, and Iam quite sure , i can beat them. Because i have seen them very early

Last vegetating week, I'll flip tomorrow on the 14th. I got an auto drying in the tent which is the only place where I can do it, so she's now waiting for let's hope less than 3 days in my bathroom. I fixed the light to the ceiling and to the walls in the same set-up as in the tent. With one less plant in the tent, I was also able to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the center. Week breakdown: 2021-03-07: Nothing to read. 2021-03-08: Nothing to read. 2021-03-09: I could finally identify one male plant and removed it from the tent. Plus the other auto plant in the tent is almost done. I will do the switch at the end of this week. 2021-03-10: Nothing to read. 2021-03-11: Nothing to read. 2021-03-12: Last feeding before the flip, still with 8ml of each in 2L of water. 6.5pH 23,7C 1284ppm 2021-03-13: She's now in the bathroom waiting for her sister to dry in the tent. I reshaped the LST to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the middle and I will flush her tonight and defoliate one last time.

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. I hope you enjoy the pics. 6/15/2023 Week 10- Day 3 of Flower (Day 133 overall) Auto Pilot Day 8.. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Gorgeous buds from this hard diesel pheno #2 guys, very lemony and sweetie aroma, I will see how good this lady is when I smoke her but looks and smells incredible, I enjoy with every strain of Gea seeds didn't get a bad plant so far, let's see how this lady keeps developing those NUGS!!! ❤️💚

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. This SP- 3000 rocks and, wallet permitting, we will go for a second one. @MarsHydroLED might be so happy with the amount of coverage we give them, they'll send us another one 😏 If you haven't seen it yet and you are in the market for new gear, check out the Black Friday super sale on www.mars-hydro.com!! We are gonna see what happens coming weeks with this strain. So far I am a bit disappointed and didn't expect this from this strain. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Me: i grow organic weed for 30 years, these seeds were old Seed dealer: Yes but you failed to do a raindance on the rising moon, no refund. Me: but its for cannabis? Weed industry: Yes why we charged you double! Me: wow no germination after paying 20 bucks for seeds? Industry: They are all stoners, they won't notice.... Me: but this bong is made from toxic plastics? Headshop: yeas but it has this crumbling image of a leaf, 20 dollar! Can they get their shit together? If you don't follow my Instagram then you will have to read this portion. Lineage Breakdown: Pink Sugar Breath F1 created by UFO Genetics. Pink Sugar Breath: Platinum Kush Breath(IHG) X Pink Sugar Cookies(UFO) Pink Sugar Cookies: Sugar Cane(IHG) X Gsc Twister Pink Sugar Breath F2: Pink Sugar Breath Male(Funk/Purple Stems/Dumper) X Pink Sugar Breath Female(Pink Sugar Cookie Pheno) Bred by Me. I originally popped a good amount of these testers I created using a funk sugar breath male and a baker dough sugar breath with more of the pink sugar cookie lineage. This resulted in a pheno hunters dream. Each pheno develops massive amounts of resin. Green phenos imo are the best smokes SO far. They range from chemical og funk to og funk and dough. The purple pheno has more of a kush breath with sugary dough to it. Lastly is the pink pheno. The pink pheno develops amazing trichome production with all terps within the mom and pop. I originally popped these in x3 ran soil. They were broken in half. Overwatered. You fucking name it. I was stress testing this already herm vulnerable gsc twisted/ogkb hybrid. That being said the average grower should have minimum to none herm issues. 3 broke out batch but it was just a small trait from the vigorous stress I gave them. They developed high bract to leaf ratio with an intense sativa high. Growing these require 63 to 72 for a full expressions and an added body buzz with that kush breath high. 9/10. Flowering expect these to stretch 3x as big. They will need boosters/ extra feeding withing 17 days from flip. These are limited tested F2s. Only available @ [email protected]
