11/24: Looks like the Emerson Effect/14 hour photoperiod is working...stretching has commenced.👍 11/25: Had to raise the lights 5 inches today. The big Sucrose Overdose and a Zkittlez are really stretching. I'm using platforms of varying heights for the shorter plants to keep the canopy level. 11/27: Raised the lights another 5 inches and fed today. 11/28: Raised the lights another couple inches this morning...now, I'm thinking I should have topped them...that's a foot in about 3 days...doh!😏 They're already starting to show signs of budding up, so I'll just have to do some supercropping and tie down the taller mains. 11/29: Raised the lights a couple more inches and supercropped the tallest Sucrose Overdose.

I also did a Trichome check today things are moving along nicely. 6/7/2023 Week 9- Day 2 of Flower (Day 125 overall) I admit it I couldn't help it there were some blatant offender leaves blocking the light from some of the canopy buds so they had to go..... and when I took them I found a few more in between leaves that had to go.. so long story short some defoliation did happen.. :-) 6/8/2023 Week 9- Day 3 of Flower (Day 126 overall) Auto pilot re-engaged.. I proudly announce: 🙌" Day 1 " 🙌 Sie haben ihren Tag 1 am 22.12.2024 um 04.20 Uhr gestartet. Das kann doch nur geil werden !!! Die Systeme sind mittlerweile gut eingestellt und auch das etwas laute Gluggern habe ich in den Griff bekommen. Jetzt sind die Systeme vom Geräuschpegel nahezu gleichwertig. Die Nährlösung ist dieses mal von Anfang an stabil, da ich die Eimer, den Blähton und die Steinwollwürfel alle vorher in vollwertiger Nährlösung eingeweicht hatte. Ich habe sie dann über 2 Tage noch nachregeln müssen und ab dann war der PH-Wert soweit stabil und ich konnte die vorgekeimten Seeds in die Würfel werfen. Mit dieser Methode fühle ich mich dieses mal irgendwie etwas "sicherer", aber mal schauen, ob sie dieses mal anfangs trotzdem wieder etwas durchgemangelt aussehen. These ladies are super healthy I want to feed them but a little worried about nute burn so I'll hold off a few days or dilute the feed I have. I just lowered the light a bit and dimmed it because I want them to stretch. That is known as crop steering I want them to all get tall and eventually I may set them in a greenhouse once flowering or big enough. The temperature and humidity listed above are averages for the week. The above listed nutrients are dry and, with exception of ferrous sulfate, pre mixed at the listed rates of ml per gallon of soil. On day 3 I top dressed with ferrous sulfate monohydrate at the rate of 2.5ml/gallon of soil as listen in nutrients section. On day 3 the #3 plant seemed off. It never straightened up. 'd really like to save it even if it falls behind the others. I dug it up after pictures and placed it in a perlite filled clone chamber. Day 1 and 2 we had heavy dew. Afternoon on day two we had cooler temps and intermittent rain that continued into early morning Day 3. Day 3 was overcast with thunderstorms and rain that evening and night. The morning of day 4 we had a rain shower, but the sun came out mid day. 2-3am early morning day 5 we had very heavy thunderstorm. There was a lot of wind and rain. On day 6 the rain forecast was reduced to 5%. Despite this we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind around 9.30 a.m. and a second round that evening.The soil in these pots has been soaking wet all week. Fortunately day 7 we had lots of sunshine and a light breeze that dried the soil out. This week presented a lot of challenges. I lost one plant to either my not mixing the nutrient thoroughly or the excessive moisture. If the dry fertilizers premixed into the soil are concentrated in an area of soil they can bring the roots. The excessive moisture can do the same. All that said the lost plant is still alive and we will see if it survived the intensive care unit. The two plants remaining are looking fantastic and have weathered these storms with vigor. Overall this week was a success.

Week 2 of flower This plant is healthy and happy but she sure is taking her time adjusting to 12/12. I don’t see any pistils coming out yet. She could just be a late bloomer lol. Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. First week of veg and all 3 are growing at the same pace. Will try to monitor and bend if one of then grows freakishly tall for some reason.

Greetings fellow growers 🖖 and welcome to my first grow ever. This adventure actually started several months ago when I decided to stop buying flower from dispensaries and just grow my own bud. How hard can it be!? This is actually my second seed of this strain. The first bean sadly died due to over watering (sorry girl, RIP). I was literally watering the cube to the point where water was dripping from the bottom, then heavily sprayed the humidity dome and tray with the vents completely closed. Everyday. Multiple times. I never let the dome or try dry out. So after about 8 days of not sprouting, there was a funky smell of rot. So that was that. Later I learned that rockwool retains a lot of water and can easily drown seeds. So a wet/dry cycle is best for rockwool germination. So even after hours of researching and digging through forums and tutorial videos, I was still under prepared for this journey. Did not consider how delicate the germination phase is. Oh well. Lesson learned. Reset and try again! I hope everyone is safe and stoned during this corona crisis. Just like everyone else in the world, I want this pandemic to be over with. But in the meantime, let's grow some weed! 🖖 [START OF WEEK 01] Day 01 - Monday - 08/03/20 - Total Days: 001 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Light Schedule: 24Hrs/0 --- Soaked cube in 5.5 PH water for 10 min. Did not shake water out. --- NO NUTES! Only PH'd down to control the PH levels. --- Did not use the default hole (way too deep). --- Flipped cube upside down and made a shallow hole for the seed (less than 0.25" deep). --- Placed seed in and pinched hole close. No additional water added. --- Sprayed the tray and dome with straight water (5.5 PH). --- Vents are cracked opened a for ventilation (about 1/4 opened each). --- Distance between the light and tray was 53" --- AC was set to 80 °F --- Exhaust fan was set to 86 °F --- Room average temp was at 85 °F --- Dome humidity was at 85-99% when sprayed. --- Allowing to completely dry before respraying. - [2200]: Dome and tray were completely dry! Sprayed only tray and dome with more water. Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/04/20 - Total Days: 002 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Sprayed dome and tray in the morning. Everything was dry. --- Hoping for the best! - [2130]: Everything was dry again, so sprayed dome and tray at night along with a light spray on the cube. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/05/20 - Total Days: 003 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Everything was dry again. Resprayed dome and tray. Slightly sprayed cube. - [2125]: Hooo damn!! She popped! Am little stub is visible! Resprayed dome and tray again. --- Still going 24/0 for lights. - [+0033]: Just checked up on her and I swear she grew a bit taller! Getting excited! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/06/20 - Total Days: 004 ----------------------------------- - [0845]: Wow! Went from a little stub to fully sprouted overnight! Everything was pretty dry again so resprayed dome and tray. - [2200]: Tap root is visible! Over 1" long too! Just resprayed dome and tray again. -- Going to prep for hydroton transplant tomorrow! Day 05 - Friday - 08/07/20 - Total Days: 005 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: She keeps growing! -- Added a bit of CalMag to the spray bottle (8 drops to 650ml of distilled water). Resprayed dome and tray. Water was at a 5.4 PH with 141 PPM. - [1045]: Prepped the bubble bucket with 4.5gal of water. Water is high enough to reach about 0.25" above the bottom of the net pot. --- Added 3 drops of Superthrive --- Added 3.5ml of CaliMagic --- Added 2ml Hydroguard --- Then PH'd down to 5.6 --- Solution Strengh: 120 PPM --- Water chiller is set to 20 °C - [1100]: Transplant time! --- Filled the net basket 1/3 with hydroton. When placed in the bucket, air bubbles are not visible, but are slightly below the surface (slight digging will reveal the water/bubbles below). --- Removed plastic on rockwool cube and placed in basket, then filled around and covered with hydroton. Making sure to block any light from passing through the net pot and into the nutrient solution. --- Covered with a half-bottle dome sprayed with the CalMag water from earlier. --- Hoping for the best! - [1300]: Raised Bucket 5" higher. Now light distance is 48" to top of bucket. - [1820]: Lowered tent exhaust temp to 76 °F --- Lowered AC to 75 °F --- Raised bucket even higher so light distance is 30" to top of bucket. - [2300]: Looking good! --- Sprayed dome and surrounding hydroton with more CalMag water. --- Attached timer to light! So new 18 Hrs On/6 Hrs Off light schedule. --- Lights On: [1600] (4pm) --- Lights Off: [+1000] (10am the next day) --- Decided to go with lights on during the evening/night and off during the later mornings/afternoon (the hottest part of the day) to see if temps can be controlled better. --- Please survive girl! Day 06 - Saturday - 08/08/20 - Total Days: 006 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Everything was dry. Resprayed hydroton and dome. - [2000]: Here first night cycle seemed to go well! Get'n taller! --- Dry again. Removed the dome. --- PH went up to 6.5 so PH'd down to 5.7 --- Ran the top feed drip ring for a bout a minute to wet the hydroton and rockwool with the nutient solution. ---Too scared to leave the top feed on 24hrs (I don't want over water her and cause dampening-off). Will let dry before re-watering. - [2100]: After closer inspection, I think she's looking a bit yellow. --- Decided to add a bit of grow nutes to the bubbler solution. --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 176 PPM --- PH went up to 6 --- I hope that the extra chelating properties of the 'PH Perfect' solution is enough of a buffer for proper nutrient uptake. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/09/20 - Total Days: 007 ----------------------------------- - [0800]: Water dropped a bit (mostly due to evaporation) so solution strength was at 190. --- Checked PH again. Was still at 6, so PH'd down to 5.4 --- Ran the top feed for a minute to wet the hydroton a bit. - [0915]: Since she's looking perky but still a bit yellow. So decided to up the nutrient concentration even more before lights out. --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow A --- Added 2ml more of Sensi Grow B --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 199 PPM --- PH went up to 5.8 - [1700]: Checked nutrients. --- PH: 5.9 --- Solution strength: 202 PPM --- Added 4ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- PH after adding more nutes: 5.9 --- Solution strength after adding more nutes: 238 PPM - [2130]: Decided to make a new foliar spray to address the continued yellowing. --- Started with 500ml of distilled water. --- Added 3 drops of CaliMagic --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow A --- Added 3 drops of Sensi Grow B --- Added 3 drops of B-52 --- Added 1 drop of Superthrive --- Solution strength: 164 PPM --- PH was at 5.9 and did not adjust. --- Gave her one spray. --- Also sprayed the surrounding hydroton. Ab jetzt werde ich meine 3 hübsche WW spülen, ich hoffe das die letzten 2 Wochen Blüte noch ausreichen das die Buds noch an Größe gewinnen, die Trichom Bildung ist reichlich vorhanden, und der Duft lässt ein schon ungeduldig werden. Das ist mein erster grow mit White Widow automatic, und mein erster grow überhaupt mit automatics. Ich konnte einiges an Erfahrung bei diesem grow sammeln. Ich habe Fehler gemacht die ich beim nächsten mal zu verhindern weiß. Ich werde euch auf dem laufenden halten bis dann wünsche euch dicke Knospen.👍🏻

Smelling as amazing as her sister does, both of my Charlote's angel smell super sweet, she's definitely an angel, full of trichomes just like her sisters, very sweet terps, wish they would have been bigger so I could have applied lst much better but anyways. I'm very happy with this strain and I'm definitely looking forward to grow this strain in future grows as well, just because of the quality of the buds and the amazing terps she produces its worth it. Very happy. I have moved her with all of my last autoflowering plants of the season to finish indoors under LED hortiONE panels. Peace everybody! ✌️💚💎
