Week 5 Flower — Sundae Driver Five weeks from seed, Week 5 of flower. The girls are tall, frosty, and carrying real weight. Supercrop results are showing: the knuckle site on the main top is packing beautifully and producing extra fruit around the bend. Photo sessions continue while they’re still mobile, but they’re quickly approaching the point where moving them will be risky. ⸻ From seed to here — short recap • Very short veg, early flip (11/13) to encourage a quick transition. • Strong genetics: both phenos established great branching early and then stretched in flower. • Early training: leaf-tucking and one deliberate supercrop on Pheno #2 to control a “moon-shot” top, the plant has recovered and is producing strong bud sites. • Feed strategy evolved from light steering (low solution EC) while relying on the active living soil, to a slightly stronger, targeted push now that the plants are bulk-building. ⸻ This week’s snapshot (numbers you gave) • Solution EC: ~1.78 mS/cm (after adding All-in-One Liquid) • Solution pH: ~5.87 • Water temperature: ~19.6 °C • Substrate EC (measured): ~5.75 mS/cm • Plants: ~heavy, visibly bulking, good frost and early trichome coverage; leaves lush and green. ⸻ Nutrition this week — what you added and why You’ve blended the Aptus baseline with the Plagron bloom stack and added the All-in-One Liquid this week to “boost things up a little.” The working recipe (as you’ve been using it) is: • Plagron Power Buds / Power products — PK and bloom stimulators to push flower initiation and fruit set. • Plagron Green Sensation — complex bloom stimulator (PK, micros, and biostimulants) to compact and feed flowers. • Plagron Sugar (Sugar Royal / Sugar Oil) — carbohydrate/amino support to feed microbes, aid terpene/aroma production and increase bud sugar availability. • Aptus Regulator — stress resistance, cell wall strength, improved uptake. • Aptus CalMag Boost — to prevent Ca/Mg shortages under heavier uptake. • Aptus All-in-One Liquid (added this week) — a balanced liquid feed to raise available macros and micros slightly and bring the solution EC up to ~1.78. Why this mix now: the plants are in active “bulk and stack” mode. The living soil is still providing a heavy base (substrate EC is high at ~5.75), so the water feed is being used as a steering input rather than the sole nutrient source. The Plagron items are targeted to maximize flower growth and aroma development while Aptus products protect tissue integrity and uptake efficiency under higher demand. ⸻ Soil & EC notes — some important observations • Substrate EC 5.75 is high. If the plants are clean (no tip-burn, no slowed uptake, good turgor), and runoff/pH are stable, you can continue carefully. The living soil is likely holding a lot of available ions. • Solution EC 1.78 is a meaningful step up from the earlier very-low steering feeds. Because the substrate is already rich, keep monitoring plant response closely. • Actionable checks: measure runoff EC and pH after a couple of normal waterings. If runoff EC is very high and plants start showing nutrient burn/leaf edge bronzing, consider: • reducing solution EC, and/or • performing a controlled flush with target pH water to bring substrate salts down, then back to a gentler feed. • If plants remain clean and uptake is quick, the current regime is probably supporting their needs as they bulk. ⸻ Watering & environment (practical reminders) • Keep using your moisture cues (weight or probe). Don’t overwater — allow the root zone to breathe between feeds so the microbiome stays active. • Heavy bud development brings higher transpiration and nutrient demand. Expect faster run-to-run uptake. • Support heavy colas: start planning stakes, soft ties or a light trellis now. Buds are forming weight quickly and the supercropped area can benefit from light support as it fattens. ⸻ Supercrop update — why it worked and what you saw • The deliberate bend on Pheno #2 created the classic healing “knuckle” and redirected auxins to many lateral sites. • Response: a fast curve-up, faster side-site development, and an especially productive top where the bend is located. • Recovery timeline you reported: the branch started to re-orient and carry load in just days — this is ideal. • Keep an eye on the knuckle site for any signs of localized stress or moisture build-up, but good airflow and light will reduce issues. ⸻ What to expect next (and what not to expect) Expect: • Continued bulking and calyx swelling over the next 1–3 weeks. Flower stacking accelerates as plants move past the stretch. • Increased trichome production and stronger terpenes/aroma as sugars and PK feed the resin pathway. • Faster water uptake and higher potassium/magnesium demand under heavy LEDs. • Need for physical support as colas get heavy. Don’t expect (yet): • Final resin peak or full density — that usually shows from mid to late flower (weeks 6–9+ depending on strain). • Large changes overnight — bud density and terpene maturation are gradual. • No problems automatically — a high substrate EC means vigilance; problems show first in lower leaves. ⸻ Practical tips & checklist for Week 6 planning • Measure runoff EC & pH. Log changes. If runoff EC substrate EC and plant symptoms appear, step in with a mild flush and a gentler feed after. • Keep airflow and RH optimized around flowers: small increases in RH can invite mold as buds thicken. Adjust RH downward stepwise if stacking accelerates. • Maintain CalMag and Regulator levels; they’re supporting strong cell walls and uptake under heat/light stress. • Prepare support (stakes/trellis) this week so you can gently secure colas when weight increases. • Continue light, selective defoliation only if it opens important bud sites — avoid heavy stripping now. ⸻ Thanks, community and sponsors Thank you to everyone following the diary, commenting, and sharing energy with these girls. Special nods to the brands and gear that helped make this possible — your tent ecosystem, lighting, nutrients and monitoring tools are all part of the outcome. Grateful for every like, read and watch that keeps the GrowDiaries momentum going. ⸻ Closing — a short reflection Week 5 is where “shape” becomes “substance.” The plants have carried themselves through stretch and are now filling hard. The supercrop paid off: more usable sites, better light distribution, and a stronger, fuller canopy. With a measured push in solution EC and continued respect for the living soil beneath them, these Sundae Drivers are on a clear path to a heavy, fragrant finish. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

Both phenoe are pushing on nicely. Really good growth from both phenos from 1 seed, 1 had more girt. So, there wasn't an exact even growth ratio. But no pheno was hammered in any way that affected its push through pre fower and into mid fattening. I expect another 3-4 weeks and I'll harvest. Atm there's a nice Lemon exotic smell. Really dank. Musky (earthy). And popping off fruits. Really lovely set of plants. Xpert nutrients are bringing out the best in my grows. They smell, taste and pretty much everything in that regard has improved. These are my new nutrients. As hard as I've been strain hunting. I've always used a different line of Nutrients per crop. And I'm glad to say. These are by far THE BEST nutrients I've used to enhance my crop. Feeds Are pretty much a week in week out with change (all explained with my weeks, DLI and other factors), master root/enzymes have been pult. Master Root no longer needed. Enzymes are all gone. Maintenance This wk, i applied LST bamboo sticks are have done some basic node bending to get the best out of the space in the area above and around its base. Some nodes where tied back to the sticks.. Shout out to my sponsors and all who stop by.

This week was kind of all over the place. 2 plants have done well despite my efforts.... haha!! One was struggling because I let it go dry on accident. Then when it continued to lag I decided to give all 3 a little Big Bloom. I had about 1.5ml of Big Bloom in 2 cups of water. I only used 1 cup feed total between the 3 plants. I then just watered the last few days and moved them into the 5 gallon pots today. I tore holes through the bottom of the manure pots and "lightly crushed" the corners a little bit. I watered them with 2 cups of water. They are planted in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. I had started them with Happy Frog in the manure pots. I hope they start growing big! I figured out the temp/humidity issue. I'm dialing it back in now with the 3 large pots in the tent. I need to reset the height of my second camera and I will start doing some more time lapse videos! As always, advice is welcome.

Eternity Grow Cup 2025 with Plagron and Zamnesia 🌱 Runtz - Zamnesia Seeds We’ve reached week 12 from seed and week 8 of flowering, and our beauty is still thriving, thanks to the incredible nutrients from Plagron. Last week, we harvested a small bud from a middle branch, and after trying it, we were blown away by the flavor and strength—it’s delicious and packs a punch! Now, as we enter the final stage, we’ve begun flushing with water, but not just any water. We’re using a special homemade feed made from the very leaves we trimmed off, blended into a rich solution to give back to the plant in its last days. Plagron has been a game-changer for us, boosting not only growth but resin production, ensuring the buds are dense, sticky, and full of flavor.

They are still not too happy with me... Not liking the nutrient strength I choose again.. So after 24hrs of just ph water and 1/4 strength hydroguard. No change I thought they would appreciate just water and a root stimulate. But no change in root or plant mass. Looking like they are very stunted from nutrient burn. So moving forward I went with same strength as the 1st feeding that they liked. But I did it in a hurry before work and realized after the fact that I put that same amount I put before but didn't account for lowering the water level to 3.5 gal from 4gal. So end up being slightly stronger then before. I did add 0.5ml of hydroguard to each bucket. Also added 0.5 of bud candy to each bucket. But hoping they work with me fingers crossed. 4/12/2023 5.8/72°F/221(Left rear) 5.8/72°F/227(Middle front) 5.8/72°F/214(right rear) No sign of transitioning to flower yet. 4/14/23 Colorado Cookies recovered and jumped like a inch looking alot better! Overall Height 3.5" And I noticed that there was some growth in the root zone. But noticed there is something going on with the upper leafs. Runtz Seems to be recovering but still a little rough. Overall Height 2" But I did notice the roots mass did not change and they still appear to have the brown tint and seems to have gotten slightly worse toward the bottom of 6"net basket. I believe that's contributing to the slow recovery. Still looking alot better tho. Banana Purple Punch seems to have bearly changed at all. There's very slight growth in center. No change to root mass at all. Overall Height 1.5" Found some very helpful information on measuring EC instead of ppm and how to monitor EC and Ph. So will be doing this moving forward. I'm going to redo Banana's bucket to exactly what I gave the 1st time she was happy but this time accounting for the .5 gal change in water level. I'm also looking into if I can use the hydroguard at full strength on nutrient burned autos since its not a nutrient for the plant. But I need to fight the brown roots in runtz tonight. See if I can't get all three happy! And save this grow to a more acceptable outcome. Stats 4/14/2023 6.25Ph/72°F/222ppm(runtz) 6.33Ph/72°F/218ppm(banana) 6.28Ph/72°F/215ppm Cookies I added 1ml total hydroguard to all and added .05 total calmag to all and ph to 5.8 4/15 I changed the water on all buckets. raised the water level back to 4 gal on Banana since it has the smallest root mass. And put full strength hydroguard and full strength rapid start in all buckets amd ph to 5.8 and left it for 24 hrs. I made a floral spray of armor si at 0.33ml to full spray bottle. Wet em down good. Twice today. 4/16 I noticed Banana's leaf tips began to droup a little. So lowered water back to 3.5 gal and mixed the nutrients for 3 gal to be safe and leave ppm for cal mag and bud candy without nutrient burn. Added 0.5 cal mag and 0.5 bud candy. I trimmed all the burned leaf tips off, so I can see if and when it burns again. And since it was the best my test has looked yet I took a video and some pictures. But still need to figure out whats going on with Colorado cookies. Has spotty yellowing. Thought maybe light burn. So checked and raised like a inch or so. But there leafs below that are almost fully yellow. Like nutrient deficiency. Trying to read her but not getting it yet. gavw them a spray of armor si. 4/17 ph to 5.8 bucket stats. Sprayed with armor si 6.1/74°F/200ppm/425uscm/0.85EC(Runtz) 6.3/72°F/207ppm/440uscm/0.88EC(Banana) 6.0/74°F/210ppm/446uscm/0.89EC(cookies) Thinking about LST cookies and pull top down. But want to address the yellowing 1st. 4/18 I changed the water in buckets to just water with 50ml hydrogen peroxide 3% to 3.5 gal water and left it for 3 hrs. During this 3 hrs I turned both fans off and made a foliar spray with 0.30 ml gh flora trio and 0.25 cal mag and sprayed them down and turned the light off for 3 hrs. So after the 3 hrs peroxide treatment. I changed water out with fresh water and did my nutrient differently. I got the EC of my tap water whixh was between 0.19 and 0.23 between the buckets. Then I added cal mag to 0.5EC And added nutrients base and additions to a EC of 1.0. Then I added 4ml hydroguard to 3.5gal. And ph to 5.8 Banana 0.19EC 3.5ml cal mag 3ml GH Flora Trio 1.5ml Bud Candy 1.5ml Rapid Start 0.25ml GH Flora Macro 4ml Hydroguard 7.4ph 242ppm 517uscm 1.0 EC Cookies 0.23 EC 3.1ml cal mag 3.1ml GH Flora Trio 1.5ml Bud Candy 1.5ml Rapid Start 0.40ml GH Flora Macro 0.42ml GH Flora Gro 0.25ml GH Bloom 4ml Hydroguard Ph 7.3 235ppm 500uscm 1.0EC Runtz 0.22EC 3.2ml Cal mag 3ml GH Flora Trio 1.5ml Bud Candy 1.5ml Rapid Start 0.25ml GH Flora Macro 0.40ml GH Flora Gro 0.25ml GH Flora Bloom 4ml Hydroguard 7.4ph 235ppm 500uscm Ph all to 5.8 That was last night at 11:30pm This morning at 5:20am stats 4/19/2023 5.9/74°F/238ppm/506uscm/1.0 EC(Runtz) 5.9/73°F/232ppm/493uscm/0.98 EC(Banana) 6.0/74°F/232ppm/493uscm/0.98EC(Cookies) Ph To 5.8

Weather is getting a bit better this week. Almost no rain anymore and much more sun comparing to last week. Blueberry Ghost OG and Kali AK still don't want to start flowering, but they slowed down from growing taller at least, so there are hope of they to start flowering soon (hopefully).

Hi everyone, here’s the update for this week along with some beautiful videos... 😉 Soil-Organic-LST Day 78~84 The autumn colour effect is more visible. This week, I topped up my soil with Tea leaves fertilizer (25g) and bone meal (25g).I love growing organic. The buds are looked like what they will become when they are growing in nature.I’ve already used my potting mixed for my last grow. This one is even better than the last potting. But I still want to test and know each and every of the NPK and other micro nutrient ratio. So still need to learn alot.No overdose, only got what is in the pot.But need to top dressing.Love those buds’ colour very much... 😊 Soil RO water Amino power - 1ml/L Baking soda - 0.25tsp/gallon pH-6.0 ppm-60 Run off pH-6.8 ppm-900 Soil Potting Mixed Recipe -Coco peat: 30% -Soil Compost: 20% (Soil,Sand,Cow manure,Ash) -Bone meal: 10% -Earthworm fertilizer: 10% -Perlite: 15% -Marble stone: 5% -Crash egg shell: 3% -Chicken manure: 3% -Banana peels: 2% -Gypsum: 2% Coco-Inorganic-ScrOG Day 78~84 I increased my Bloom and Micro feed and cut of Grow. The leaves are becoming lighter in green colour than before. It was right about cutting nute for one week.I will also stop feeding with Cal-Mag plus for a while. Her buds are totally different from Soil girl. Not so many pistils but denser than soil girl. For this Coco girl, I still need to learn the right concentration nutrient amount for each growing stage. Here’s my watering and other details... Coco RO water Bloom- 3.0ml/L Micro- 3.0ml/L Bud Candy- 0.5ml/L B52-1.0ml/L pH-6.5 ppm-1100 Run off pH-6.3 ppm-1000 Coco potting mixed recipe Coco peat : 70% Perlite : 30% Transplanted from 1gallon coco/soil mixed pot at Day-42. Scrog size Area : 1ft x 1ft (30cm x 30cm) Hole size : 2” (5 cm) Material : iron welded by four steel pillars. Height from base: 6” (15cm) Stay tune friends.Happy growing to you all... ✌️ 🇲🇲

Had a bit of a ph issue so I gave em a flush. Hasn’t seemed to affect their progress. Still holding strong! The clones are also doing really well! Kept the 8 strongest and ripped the rest. Freshly topped today (2nd day after transplant to 2 gal pots). Just following the GH nutrient schedule to the letter. Love their nutrient line. Thanks a lot for following and I really appreciate all the tips! Happy growing!

This strain of Kings kush is a smelly one, I still can put my finger on the terp profile yet. Almost a kushy herby dank is all I can describe atm. Growing these plants, I would suggest pruning every second node once you get her into flower since the bugs tend to push up against each other and may cause bud rot. Say ontop of defoliation and try to qork on them on a daily basis rather than lolipoping. Another key thing is to keep rH in range during flower, I will recomend to set it to 40-50rh in flower. Also if you are growing outdoors, Be sure to cover them up during rain when in flowering, I uses a transparent tarp for the last 5 weeks of flower. Save my plants from 9 huge rain events during the last 5 weeks, my plants would of died from br. This strain had some decent cold resistance also! She stay alive with with few events of temps getting down to 4 deg c.
