26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! So this Week I've started using the green buzz nutrients range , wish me luck , I will update every weeks :) Update day 3 of week 3 I this morning removed two leaves from the top of this plant because or the formation of this girl so far growing her leaves downwards and then out , so in other words completely shading all light too the lower down growth spots I then tighed down the lower leaves too expose the branches , I think this girl will be a short pheno but think that may well be a blessing with the other 3 fast buds plants growing rapidly and already on there 4th or 6th set of leaves , Update , Day 5 week 3 , well as you can see compered too the other 3 plants in the same space on the same feed , It would appear that this pheno is very small and slow growing , Ive today removed the larger leaves covering up the branches too try and develop the branches , but something tells me this will be a very short and stumpy plant , But I am sure it will still be very nice bud all the same

The past week I've been trying to identify problems with my climate and feeding. Three out of two plants (so also one of the XL Runtz) stay behind with exactly the same problems. I've been ventilating more to get cooler air into the tent. This seems to resolve some of the issues but has cost some development. Reason enough to call off the battle. The playing field was influenced by me as I'm still getting to know 'the rules of engagement' with growing autos indoors. They are way more sensitive to influences than my usual regulars. So I'm using all this info to tune my tent, for climate, and the soil for nutrients. So the next run will be more stable. Still, these strains completely amaze me with how fast they put out these buds. It is almost alien in 6 short weeks up to now. Considering my options for summer. Dealing with temps in a hot attic, or start growing some plants indoors and transfer to outdoor when it gets too hot. The jury is still out on this but the invasion of Ukraine could play a role in this as my government keeps pumping Russian oil and gas for our energy needs and Sunshine and me stand solid in our support for a free Ukraine. These plants are liking there new home. Growth has been amazing. Everything seems to be going well. Except it's raining now. We will see how the rebuilt greenhouse holds up.

Heeey! 👋 Another update! :D This week I made another transplant, this time from the drink cups to a small 3.5 liter pot and I also applied some more mycorrhizas to my babies! 😃 From both of them Pistachio seems to be the one who's developing faster and Matcha is trying to catch her sister. The plants ended with about 19500 lumens! Couldn't rise them more because of heat issues 😟 The only tricky part this week was when I decided to add a bit of growing nutrients to my plants so I ended up watering them a lot after the transplant and the results were quite shocking! I barely added 2ml of total nutrients per liter but the runoff water I got was around the 1400 ppm which all honestly scared me a lot! That's way too much for two young plants (and I believe some of the excess nutrients can be seen on Matcha) nonetheless they are still developing so I'll just continue with water for now till they start to lose color (the Light Mix I used should have enough 'food' for at least 2 weeks, so that's good I believe! Besides that everything went well. I'm using tap water for my humidifier and its sediments are being thrown into the air by it, but so far it seems my plants are doing well. During the last 4 days the plants developed a lot in their new pots so I'm quite happy for that! If things go well next week I'll be moving them to their final container! Thanks everyone for reading! Well I am coming up onto the end of week 6. Despite the ugly yellow gong on on one plant back there it seems to be doing ok. Not much saving those leaves but her trichomes are progressing all the same. Everyone else seems to be trucking right along as well. Added TPS Billions to the mix. Its kind of like Recharge but with trichoderma. Probably a little late in flower to be trialing that but it probably wont hurt.

The tricombe production on this strain is ridiculous! It looks amazing under my microscope. The heads are mostly milky coloured so this may be finishing sooner than expected. The space in the tent is getting a bit tight so I'll be glad to have more room when this lady has done her thing.

Considering that Syrup is a fast-flowering autoflower (lifespan 56–65 days), we're getting close to the finish line... :) Big thanks to everyone who's been guiding me through messages and answers — and also to all the growmies who just stop by! BTW: For those chasing purple buds — just underfeed them a bit and give them a phosphorus deficiency. 😂

Another good and bad weed. Bad: Lost a LED and PC due to power surge!! Might be time to consider a proper UPS. Some issues with drain system changes, first iteration dumped 10 gallons of nutes into tent due to leaky fitting. Second iteration dropped another 10 gallons outside of tent due to the hose slipping out of nute res when draining. Some lessons learned. Good: Drain system finally hammered out properly, working great with no issues. No more grow room swimming pools. Ramblings: Humdity was nice and high in tent for some reason; probably something to do with nute swimming pool. Floors are nice and clean now, almost like they were freshly mopped. Ordered a samsung quantum LED light for replacing the fried LED. Installing for next week and flowering cycle switch. Overall the plants look healthy and no real issues despite my many attempts on killing them. The blurple vs white pics; was playing with HDR setting on camera; much better without purple.

Ich habe mich mal mit LST probiert. Habe es einfach mal aus dem Bauch heraus gemacht. Ist bestimmt nicht optimal aber es gibt ja immer Luft nach oben ;)

Woche 5 03.08.24 - 10.08.24 Das Wachstum geht ungehindert weiter....! Diesmal konnte ich leider keine Fotos machen, da ich in der Woche wenig nach den Pflanzen schauen konnte. Dafür kleine Zeitraffervideos von der Zeltkamera. Die Pflanzen zeigen leichte Anzeichen einer Überdüngung. Daher wurde diese Woche nur bei jeder zweiten bis dritten Bewässerung gedüngt. Außerdem wurde die Beleuchtung umgestellt von der Lumii auf 2x Sanlight Evo 120er da sie endlich nach mehrmonatiger Verspätung angekommen sind. Die Werte Temperatur, Luftfeuchtigkeit und VPD füge ich nachträglich noch ein. Die Behandlung mit dem Neemöl bringt leichte Besserung. Ab Montag kommen noch Nematoden zusätzlich mit in die Box, da ich ab jetzt nicht mehr das Neemöl benutzen möchte aufgrund der langsam voranschreitenden Blüten.
