Still giving me a little stretch this week which is fine because there’s still some room. I initially thought they were going to get a bit taller or I might have waited another few days. Either way there’s a TON of cola sites and I’ve selectively removed a few fan leaves blocking them. I turned up the HLG 550v2 to about 90% power and switched the nutes to a higher phosphorus and less nitrogen base. All In all everything is on track.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. The smell is amazing believe it or not! Didn’t have high expectations when the weather was super cold at the beginning and super hot at the end with high humidity, no rain, lots of rain— outdoor is just so darn hard. At least I’ll get a couple of good joint out of it! More to follow!

Very happy with the progress of this one. She has a lot of tops and is starting to build some buds. I gave her a 10 gallon flush and fresh nutrients. Started them on some liquid Koolbloom. The run is pretty much on autopilot at this point. Just going to keep the juice pumping to them and keep an eye on them to make sure they are happy. 1. LABS - I suggest using distilled water for the entire process ( no chlorine or chloramine). I also suggest the type of rice product shown ( 1/2 cup), it has red, brown, white, and black rice blended together. You get the benefits of each type. 2. Take the rice that was used in making the rice rinse for labs and boil it in 3 cups of water for 30 mins. Strain the rice out. Add 1 TBSP molasses per 300 mls. Use 300 mls of the above mixture during your watering cycles. It contains starches, b vitamins, aminos, trace minerals, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, potassium, and some nitrogen. The ppm’s are not higher than 200 ( if using distilled water). This is ONLY used if your plants are healthy. If your plants are sick…this will NOT help them. It will make stuff worse!!! The Hulk-Berry got a new home. 1 tsp 7-3-1, 1/2 tsp 0-12-0, 1/2 tsp Langbeinite, 1 TBSP 2-2-2, 3 TBSP 4-3-3, worm castings, recharge (1/32 tsp) into the soil ( Mother Earth). The 3 RuntZ are coming back from slow growth at the outset. I added LABS, Lentil SST, Photosynthesis Plus to the media. I did a foliar spray with recharge. 24-36 hours later the leaves exploded with growth and height. I added ZERO nutrients!!! I only used natural inputs and bacteria to get the root zone back in order. 11-3. Things are all in check! The LABS, SST’s and Rice wash have gotten the 3 RuntZ back on track. The Hulkberry is in full swing. I think I can get to 3 feet by flower time with the Hulkberry 11-5 All is well today!!! Everyone is very happy after the cal-mag, Photosynthesis Plus, kelp bath

Blackberry moonrocks the leaves on both the seedlings have a very distinct look definitely different than the average leaf really pointy and 1 of the 2 seedlings sits praying 100% of the day. I think that one is really going to be a winner. Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

Hello Growmies, We’re at week 15, and our Epic Buzz is showing some serious gains. The plant has been swelling so much that it's barely managing to hold itself up. An inspection reveals a coat of trichomes adorning the surface, with calyxes continuing to expand noticeably. It's as if each day brings a new level of plumpness to the buds, pushing the boundaries of what seemed possible just a week ago. From the images, we can observe the heavy load the stems are carrying. The top colas are thriving with density, their surfaces a landscape of rich, sticky trichomes, the kind that promise potency and depth. While the overall structure of the plant leans heavily, a testament to the weight it bears, there's an elegance to this droop, speaking to the fullness it's achieving. In terms of care, there's a significant change in our approach – no more PK 13/14. We've seen the best of what it can do, and now it's time to let pure, reverse osmosis water do the talking. This shift will ensure that we're not overloading the plant with nutrients and will help us to start the flushing process gently, easing into the final stages of flowering. The result of this can be seen in the leaves that are starting to yellow, a natural progression indicating that the plant is consuming the last of its nutrient reserves. Meanwhile, the roots, those unseen heroes, continue to draw up the necessary sustenance, fuelling this impressive final push. We’re now on the precipice of full maturity, where each day counts double. I'm keeping a close eye, ensuring the reservoir stays topped up every few days to keep her hydrated without causing undue stress. As we approach harvest, it's a balancing act of watchfulness and patience. The once-dominant aroma now fills the space with a subtler, sweeter scent – a prelude to the bounty that awaits.
