Ginger Nut Cookies 16th Jan 2020 Well she's still alive despite me nearly cooking her by leaving her out in the full sun for too long 😄 Should have remembered to slap on some suncream 😂 Anyway Shit happens and I only lost the first set of true treaves and i'll refrain from putting her out in the sun for now. The reason I'm keeping it on the 16hr light schedule is because I think it will be photo dependant & I'd like to see if it can get a bit of vegetation growth before it tries to flower. Otherwise I'll only end up with a miniature plant and that would only be wasting my time . If it does sprout pistils during this lighting schedule then it must be an autoflowering strain but I dont think it will. **** Great Aussie Music Videos **** Last week was Gotye with "Somebody that I used to Know" It went number 1 for awhile here and did quite well in the US I believe. so its been a steady week growth has been amazing especially on my OG kush and the auto-colorado Cookies. Unfortunately while doing some lst on the colorado cookies i snapped branch. I was able to duct tape it back and hook it to the main branch as a form of botany sling. ill be taking clones in 2 days (waiting for freaking amazon) i plan to take arond 3-6 from the og kush and 2-5 from the g zkittlez(about 8 total) from there i will begin a perptual 2 week harvest. Once the roots take place i will put them all in soil and after about a week or two i will be placing 2-4 into a flower tent, arriving soon as well. Following 2-3 weeks later place another 2 into the flower tent, and do this while cloning every 5 weeks. This is a rough draft idea. I will need to ensure the essential space is available, the veg tent doesnt get too crowded, and the smell can be contained. But all is looking good as of now! update 09-04 took clones today. took too many the goal was 6-8 total and i did 8 per plant, 16 total. The OG kush has been such a stronger strain in ways i did know plant could vary. What i am specifically speaking to is when cutting the og kush cuts stayed up right with leaves still in the up/"praying" position and stayed that way until placed in the tent. the G zkittlez IMMEDIATELY started drooping and i could feel how weak the cuts were. Regardless i took 8 from each and am very excited about some of these cuts. I still have high, yes pun intended, hopes for the gorilla zkittlez, some strains in my experience do shit during veg but come alive during flower and vice versa, that being said if the same routine occurs during flower i do not expect to keep this strain in my line up. i have Amherst sour Diesel (humboldt) and Skywalker Kush (emerald triangle) seeds sitting waiting to be used, 3 of each fem.

Day 106, Flower Day 50. Looked at Trichomes this morning. GSC still showing some glassy/milky look. Bubba is pretty milky colored. Still needs at least a week. Went on vacation last week. Had somebody else water. They closed the door, so not as good air circulation. Bubba showed powdery mildew. Not yet severe, so I took the plant outside, trimmed off some fan leaves that showed mildew. Then I sprayed the entire plant with a 25% milk solution (whole milk) and let it dry. Back in the tent. Cranked up the inline fans and added a small fan to the Bubba tent. Just need a couple more weeks.

Looking beautiful this week. Getting some lovely fades on the white widows. The blue sherbets are really packing weight on and smell banging. Trichs now really milking up. Will just keep diluting the res with plain water this week to drop the ec slowly down before the final 5 day flush. Will also drop the res temps to try and shock them into a few more trichs.

This is when I changed to spider farmer SE300. Wow this light is amazing the full spectrum light. The dimmable light adjustment is sweeet. It’s like opening a Christmas present 😂

Day 66 : This lady continues fattening, faster now. Also crystal production increased. The breeder suggests 70-75 days. For now all crystals are almost milky with some cloudy. So she need 1 week for sure, maybe a bit more. That gum smell is so attractive, you want to eat it. Reduced bio grow and removed Calcium. Edit 70 : I saw the first ambers, very little. So i watered for last time with juices Next watering will be flush to reduce the juices in the soil. So if initially has 1200-1300ppm i want to reduce it to 350-500ppm. After flush continue pure water until chop chop. This is my approach for all ladies always.

Day 73, took another batch if clones three days after taking the 2nd batch so now I have 80 clones that will root in 11 to 14 days. The sun is hot again back to +30C° day temps, I was to lazy to take individual photos of my mother plants. I'll give the plants 10 days to recover from the stress from taking cuttings. Day 75, last day in the tent for my mother plants, tonight there going inside boxes for 3 day of darkness so that the plants forget the 18 hrs veg lighting to follow the sun. 2nd batch of clones to veg for a week before going outside to flower. Mothers in boxes they will come out on the 24th September

Happy I made it to harvest as I know that’s a lot of first growers issue. She’s sticky, funky, and chunky. Nothing bad to say. I definitely learned some things that I’lol be implementing next grow. Probably do another run of Autos from Mephisto as I have a few. But my goal is to get into the Photos, preferably the kushiest of the kushy lol. Bud development is really nice. Now you can clearly see purple buds, starting to produce a layer of resin. The purple from spreads from the inside to the sugar leaves, leaving a nice colour. The smell to this point, is not that strong. But she smells like a doughy overripe fruit, very sweet, but not yet like a cherry. I'm excited to see, how it's gonna turn out in the end. She is not a thirsty plant and is not asking for a lot of nutrients. I just added a small mixture of bloom fertilizer, just to prevent deficiency symptoms. O guess she will take another 5 to 6 weeks, to become fully ripened. So far the plant is really easy to handle , just don't overfeed her and she is running on her own.

First off, that mf holds it's name very well. The smell on that strain is phenomenal. Much of fruity citrus and earthy notes and that's without the curing. I smoked a bit to get a taste. Smoke and taste quite harsh but that should go away with the curing. I harvested 634g wet, including a lot of stems, and ended up with 121g dried. they lost 80% of their mass and I might have over-dried them since I expected to get more tbh. However that's more than enough to get me through next harvest. The 3 plants turned out to be pretty different phenotype. All over pretty great but one could have used denser buds. They don't have the same maturity which means I got buds for all occasions. Kept the trimmings in the freezer for an hour and also harvested 0.67g of kief with a 220 micron bag. A lot of impurities but that was to be expected. I don't think the calcium problem has had a significant impact. Overall very happy with the product and the experience.
