2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one is budding up nicely, but the taller one is still stretching. The short one looks to be considerably more indica than the other. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

I found a pre-seed a few weeks bk now (cant remember the week, but logged it), but the wife nor myself have found anymore and we've got through a bit already so that is great for us.. My 1st photoperiodic strain from Emerald Triangle Seeds and im extremely pleased with the results..

Arrancamos la 4ª semana de floración y venimos de hacer los 3 últimos riegos suaves con baja ec por que veo varias muy verdes, un color muy oscuro creo que algo pasadas. Esta semana ya seguimos con las dosis normales, además añadiremos por ultima vez unas micorrizas para mejorar el sustrato. Ya he puesto las luces UV para emular al máximo la luz del sol y que la planta se sienta bien arropada.

Well the flower week is finally upon us they are getting a huge block opening up the canopy exposing Bud sites letting the wind blow through those beautiful structures. I will have more updates as the week goes on stay tuned. I took ALOT off , I know , I know , lots of people will say , what the heck is this grower doing ?!? Well all I can say is .......... WAIT . This ain't my first rodeo. Pictures will follow , Why did I get rid of all the leaves ? 1) increase airflow 2) increase light to bud sites 3) to prevent mold . So many times I have done this and everytime, I ask myself , was it too much ??? A week later the plant will have pretty much , somehow, grown all the leaves back !!! You will have to wait and see just like me !!!

Just tucking away 🤣🤣🤣 Last weeks feeding was slightly too high for transition. I am realizing that the amount of fulvic/humid acid reduces the need for full strength ratios. This week we are going to feed 800 again, as the need for ppm’s has increased, but I am going to stay under 850 unless I see deficiency in leaves. The photosynthesis plus has been added to the mix. I know, I have recharge. However, there are certain strains in PP that recharge does not have. Specifically there is a strain for absorbing more from the lights. I have some purple stems from the light being a little to intense. We will be adding a little more cal-mag to the next feeding also. Looks like feeding will take place Tuesday/Wednesday this week. All plants are female and no Herms present for the party 😂😂 10-25 did a pre-feed of cal-mag, 8 oz. Later this evening I will do the main feeding 3 cups. The ratios are still 8-8-8 at 800 ppm’s. The extra ppm’s come in the form of extra cal-mag. Did some tucking as I am in stretch phase. So I work with a grower who is 76 years old. He has some old school techniques that make sense. He pre-waters his containers with 25% water. The remainder 75% is either nutrients OR additives that need to be added to the water. I took it a step further. I added cal-mag to the pre-water stage. Then I fed the nutrients second stage. Cal-mag is the “carrier” for nutrients throughout the plant. “Adding the nutrients after, makes it easy for the nutrients to fully saturate the soil and reach all the roots. This also prevents salt build up.” Ron’s Words. I will say my containers held double the amount of water using his method. 10-28 added some reflective material around the sides. My Growmie at RedmanFarms suggested I add it to the room. I am inside of an open air room for flowering cycle. Today was watering day. First watering was a light dose of cal/mag. Second watering was kelp, seaweed, photosynthesis plus, monk beans SST, fulvic/humic acid. One of the plants ( top left) seems to have a sulpher/magnesium deficiency ( it’s also the one with the soil I don’t like). I made some Iron/Tone tea by Espoma at 200 ppm’s and did a foliar feed. So far I see some progress on purple recessing and the growth has started to match the other 4. I have 1 more week of tucking to do and then I do a HEAVY defoliation on day 21. After than I won’t touch the plants other than feedings and water.

I topped 2 nodes on Plant #3 and 1 Node on Plant #2. Everything looks dialed in (Finally). I defoliated a little bit today and took a couple tops off each. 3/15/2023 Week 4- Day 5 of Veg (Day 42 overall) Nothing to much to report. This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

I raised the EC to ~2000, lowered ORP to ~100 and didn't see any tip burn yet, will observe the plant and might increase it even more, haven't grown this strain yet. No smell yet. Roots are looking good, maybe a little stained due to Universol Yellow which has a strong yellow color. Did more LST and defoliation, with the stretch I might reach the frame for Scrog next week? So I noticed a mutation that has been there for a while but I only noticed it this week, this plant is giving me a little headache with the slow growths on top and mutations but mid week it started to grow more, maybe it is coming back right now since the roots are doing good from start and the plant laid a good foundation before it takes off now? I had worse starts with great results. Since stretch definitely started mid week and flowering is starting I will count it as flower mid week but will mark is as flower on GD starting next week. Also added predator mite pouches as precaution, better safe than sorry. Values are average of the day.
