Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Saw slight nute burn cut grow big from 5ml/G to 2.5ml/Gallon

The plant looks super healthy and strong, I'm gonna start giving this lady a low bushy shape from now on, she was getting really tall and she's in a balcony so can't take the risk.

Buds seriously starting to fatten up, put out some serious trichomes and smell this week. Smell has intensified quite alot since last week soon as you open the tent the smell smacks you in the face. More trichomes by the day looking like a serious smoke. Upped the EC to 2 for this week to try and get a much out of these as possible. I won't be going any higher than a 2 EC so I don't fry my plants. Some orange hairs starting to appear on both the cereal milk and wedding cake.

I've been feeding and pulled a few fan leaves. They are all different heights and getting really tall despite only being in two litre pots. The tallest pheno is already showing red buds.

Nothing too crazy to report from this week; her smell is potent and shes covered in trichomes. Touching the plant covers my hands and arms in sticky resin-like glue. 😁😁 I am very happy with the state of my secret garden. Considering this is the first shot; the internet and others in the grow diaries community have really put me onto the right course. Thanks! Ive been defoliation both plants as and when needed and from the trim i have been making cannabutter for baking :) Ive also taken some pics in the dark to highlight the trichome production :):) RQS northern lights has had a better start than QO and its really starting to show; she's overtaking QO and just starting to flower now... she is massive! Far far bigger than I was expecting. Shes almost 80cmx80cm in canopy area. Similar nutrient mix used as last week barring the change to 15ml/10L of PK13/14 from 10ml/10L 40ml/10L of a+b 15ml/10L of PK13/14 1 drop of superthrive ph ~6 ppm ~1150

She has grow very quickly only in 10 weeks but the second one still have about 2 weeks. The buds are nice and dens. I'm happy with the quality and smoke 👌

9/22 Day 22 by chance :) Feed all the same Kangaroots 10ml/g Bio-Grow 5ml/g just took extra care with Jen's PH of 6.52 and she got about twice the liquid as the rest to really soak that pot. Retouched training light set to 20" seems a bit much at 18" 9/23 Seems to be improvement in Jen. See what happens when the pot drys from the root drench. The other three are just gorgeous. 9/28 Week four ends and the girls looking fine. Jen much improved and growing better all others stable and building.Feed yesterday of Bloom/Cal-Mag/Grow really seemed to lock things down. Good thing as they haven't had the attention this week with us trying to save all our outdoor fruit. Corrected nuet list Bio-Bloom was not on it.

Start of week 2 of flowering, both girls were drooping heavily and the medium was dry and pots were very light feeling. Removed the worst leaves from each plant and a few large fan leaves. Overall, I'm very happy with the weeks growth and development.

I ran into some issues with the pan dragon f1. I fried her with nutes as you can see by the leaves, but the rest are fine. I’ll be taking them down day 70

Woche 7 Ramona musste leider in ein größeres Zelt umziehen. Der vorherige gebastelte Schrank ist nur 120cm hoch, zwischen Pflanze (höchster Bud) und Lampe waren nur noch 24cm Platz. Viel zu wenig und die Lampe war schon auf die maximale Höhe eingestellt die möglich war. Nun hat sie wieder Platz :) Das Zelt ist 80x80x180cm :D Ramona hat auch ganz schön Durst. 3L Wasser schluckt nun weg. Week 7 Unfortunately, Ramona had to move to a larger tent. The selfmade cabinet before is only 120cm high, and there was only 24cm of space between the plant (tallest bud) and the lamp. Far too little and the lamp was already set to the maximum height that was possible. Now she has space again :) The tent is 80x80x180cm :D Ramona is also really thirsty. She swallows 3L water now.

Dear diary, Week 4 almost done, but posting a day in advance as I will need help from the community! Something terrible has happened, and I am not sure what, so let’s jump into it. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 25: Away from home so the flatmate is feeding them from the premixed bucket. ⏰ Day 26: Back home! As they have doubled in size I am transplanting up from 3liter to 20liter airpots. The 75/25 coco to perlite mix was first run with 1.23ms 5.8ph calmag water followed by 1.33ms 5.8ph nutes before transplanting over. Light was about 305 so also upped it to 320-330ppfd. ⏰ Day 27: Feed the girls at 1.36ms and 6.0ph. Today was also the day where the mainlining begins! This was done by topping above the 3rd node, removing any growth below the 3rd and tying them down to start the manfold. Aiming for 8 or 16 tops for each plant depending on how the grow. ⏰ Day 28: Feeding at 1.36ms 5.8ph and adjusted ties. ⏰ Day 29: Checked in on them in the morning before lights off, and something is very wrong. All the older leaves show all kinds of issues like curling, brown and yellow spots, drooping etc. Might just be from the chock of mainlining and the lights being to strong so lowered them to 230ppfd. Later when lights turned on again, their state has not deteriorated during light off, so I’m fairly sure it is light related. But to be sure I also gave the girls 2 liter each of feed to make sure there are no dryspots, 1.36ms 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: I was away all day so they were watered by flatmate with 1.35ms 6ph. When I came home later in the night the spots and yellowing is still happening on the older leaves but much slower than before. I also checked runoff and it’s fine at 1.46ms and 6.0ph. ⏰ Day 30: Gave a feeding of 1.46ms 6.3ph in were I increased A and B nutes to 2.5ml/l from 2.0 and calmag to 1.5ml/l from 1.3. Someone suggested that it might be magnesium deficiency so that is why I changed the ratios and increased the EC a bit. Lastly I also gave a foliar spray of calmag water at like 12ml/l at 6.3ph to see if that helps so we can head into a smoother week 5!

Starting to flush today I’m starting to see tichs starting to turn amber colored on the top of the main cola and 90% cloudy and about 40% of the pistles have changed color also

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had lots of sunshine and a lite breeze. The soil began to dry out and I watered about 1.5 - 2 gallons per plant, from the water hose, that afternoon. Day 2 we had rain early morning and showers throughout the day. The girls look like their roots found the iron I added last week. Day 3 we had early morning rain, drizzle and showers in the afternoon. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 1.66ml/gallon of soil. as I've only got about 25 gallons of soil. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 4 we had more rain, drizzle, and mist intermittently throughout the . The good news is the ferrous sulfate has lowered soil pH to 6.2 👌. There's still a small excess of phosphorus, but the girls will grow into it. Day 5 we had more rain. It rained all morning for about 8 hours. The pots are soaking wet. Day 6 We missed the scattered showers but it's been 80-90% humidity all day. Even with the beautiful sunshine the soil isn't drying out. I'm looking at the nodes to see when I'll be topping. Day 7 we had lots of sunshine and temps over 80°F. These girls are loving it. I'm looking at the 4th node to top. I'll wait for more stem above the 4th node.There needs to be enough stem above the node that it won't split as the branches grow heavy from large buds. This week was a success. The girls more than doubled in height. They performed their job while battling excessive rain and winds. I'll be looking to top these girls and add soil to top off their pots next week. I'm hoping for less rain and more sunshine next week.

Ghost Train Haze automatic by Zamnesia has breathtaking genetics and heritage, we are particularly fond of its parents and we are sure it will be a show. Everything was born in order and in its place for a day we are also giving alga grow and the plant flies but this week we had not given it yet. Growing projects for autoflowering plants ----- As for autoflowering plants I really love preserving the Main Cola. So I will try to make or grow the plants well or badly without affecting the main cola. Nowadays topping autoflowering plants is very accepted but it is not my favorite thing to transform a baby born to finish in 10 weeks into a baby that finishes in 14, I say at this point I do photoperiodic. But in times of people who only grow autoflowering everything is permitted for goodness sake if you want to do it, do it I will not be the one to stop you. Also because the results are excellent nothing to really discuss about anything except time. All this to tell us that I recommend for example fimming on plants that tend to grow tall to give power to the lateral branches, LST as much as you want, I don't like too much, spread me out, I need space. HST and splitting are with experience. These are my tips not the absolute truth please do not mistake me for a great sage holder of the truth I speak as I see it. The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1 ml/l from now on we will start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. 22.04 1day 12/12 ола начало 5го дня 12/12. вижу дефициты - меняю бак. на 40л свежей воды из под крана в 200ppm по 100мл А/Б+30мл силиконики+20мл ph[-] итого: ppm 940 ph 5.6 ола 7дней 12/12 долил свежего 18градусного компота 40л прям перед поливом) и того в баке около 70л. на улице душанбе , в боксе тож жарковато, ну чую руками , что прибор подпёздывает и к тому же он под лампами, хоть и на уровне растих, пластик всё равно нагревается, поэтому там меньше 30 явно. так же для личного удобства сделал перестановку и чуть подзагнул всё таки хейзы, куча побегов открылось под свет. пол ещё не показали. мутант продолжает болеть, он сам выбрал свой путь, ещё шепнули что с виду оч сативный фенотип попался, и поэтому ебёт голову, мол сатива иначе кушает
