Really love this strain, grown it a few times, happy with how she turned out, greasy an sticky and the smoke is heavy an euphoric, she smells like fruit punch with hints of nut meg, a smell I can't explain very pungent...

So these Cream Cookies were really easy to grow! Almost too easy that I neglected them for a week or so and then found two of them covered in Aphids. We tried everything we could to save #1 & #2 but It was a battle that we eventual lost. They are in a bag in the freezer getting ready to be bubble hash. #3 to my awe and surprise has survived through thick and thin. Good and Bad. And will be my only smokeable "flower" from this run. That said I will run these again but inside in a controlled environment as it seems my FastBud Girls were prone to the aphids and caterpillars. Reguardless I'm super impressed with the structure and just look of the plant overall. Can't wait to smoke #3!!! The frozen bag of hash weighs in at 203g and includes the mutant #3 smoothie auto from my other diary which also was overrun with aphids. *Will update with dry numbers*

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. This week I performed a good defoliation to clean up the canopy and improve light penetration and airflow. I also added a second scrog net to help support and organize the branches as the plant continues developing in flower. On the positive side, I haven’t seen any more signs of the thrips since the treatment, so hopefully the issue is under control now 🌱💪

Triming a bunch of leaves and branches 10mins in morning ten at night before co2 kicks on. I flipped sooner then normal because they where very aggressive. And they are hitting the lights at day 21 :( I was able to to creep the light up 3 inches with some temporary straps touching the light. I hope that 3 inches is all I need (that's what she said).. Otherwise plant is amazingly aggressive and smelly lots of tops and sites..

Last days were mostly overcast weather and fresher temperatures here. All 3 plants slowed down their growth and they also lost some yellow leaves from the lower part of the plant. I hope this is normal. Plant 3, the one that suffered the bending trauma last week (see photos for details) is not showing signs of lethal damage yet, fingers crossed for me please! Well it is budding nicely and it's also stinking up my tent . Citrus but Also very skunk like . The frost is just starting to stack in there . We took a few contest shots today and also hopped I to the strain review video contest too . Have fun and just why not it's all in fun . Organic soil with nuts as well cheers fam

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (Lime/yellowing) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. Unfortunately, I had to correct the first week of flowering as the last week of the growth phase because I didn't reset my timer and the lamp therefore ran at 18/6 for another 5 days Some plants are a little lighter, some are a little darker, they all received about the same water I'm assuming it's phenos Otherwise they look really good and grow into the net. I'm expecting at least another week on the hubba bubba as it's getting nice and thick, and I haven't noticed any new pistols form in a few days. The ABxRKO is still trucking, and it makes me excited for the next drop that tree1four did. It smells heavy on the burger side, but not super meaty. It has a slightly sweet gassy meaty smell to it.

AND CHECKING FOR SEX POP 9 SEEDS 100% SUCESS AND ALL FEMALE THANKS TO COPY CAT GENTICS. 11TH DAYS -FLOWERING RAINING SEASON HAD TO TRIM BOTTOM FOR AIR VENTILATION MY HUM HITTING 72%.......T T DUE TO RAIN RUNNING EXTRA FAN FOR AIR VENTILATION. This wonderful plant is amazing man, I have fallen in love with this strain and the hard rocks nuggets she has produced, beutiful orange pistils, it's just pure fire. Very dense and compact nuggets guys, she's been 100% organic grown, she has been watered with pure water and beneficial bacteria all the way and also with guano liquid by guanokalong, the aromas are very complex is very gassy stinks like a skunk however it's got some piney in and kush aroma,definitely awesome man need to keep growing this strain many more times no doubt.

Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

Bonjour les amis, Les températures ont enfin baissé. Mais une autre canicule arrive bientôt. J'ai penché cette plante pour que le développement soit plus uniforme. J'ai fixé un petit bambou tout de la hauteur la plante et attaché en plusieurs points. Ensuite j'ai penché la plante un peu plus chaque jour. Elle n'a pas l'air d'avoir souffert. Plusieurs grandes feuilles ont déjà jaunies, je pense que c'est sac de 7 litres est vraiment trop petit, il exige des arrosages très proches. Les fleurs sont déjà bien volumineuses, la plante rentre dans sa dernière phase de floraison. J'ai ajouté environ 2g de trikologic. Voilà pour l'instant, merci pour votre visite, M.

As of day 21, the Blackberry Kush is growing sizable despite the very deformed growth. After really double checking every parameter last week, I feel comfortable saying it is a genetic issue. Thank you to those who commented and responded to the grow question over the past weeks, it really helps! I want to see how this plant grows and what it yields despite the issue, it should be interesting to see what kind of buds it can end up making. I will perform some LST soon as the plant is growing taller even after topping. I with the twisted leaves and wonky growth, it's actually letting plenty of light penetrate to the lower/center portions of the plant which may have it's own positive outcomes (what can I say, I'm an optimist!) Happy growing everyone, and stay safe! 👍🌱 Day 22: started LST to promote lateral growth. Day 24: even though the twisted leaf growth is keeping the foliage from getting very dense, I am happy that this plant is still a good size and is definitely not stunted! If anything it is acting like a defoliated plant, letting plenty of light penetrate to the lower growth tips and center of the plant. Day 25: earliest signs of flowering. Day 26: 5x per day watering, 15 second duration.

Hello Diary. The first week of flowering is over, the plants have branched out nicely, the Purple Punch has grown more than 60cm and has now become crowded on the Farm. Specifically, Purple Punch # 1 grew 66 cm, Purple Punch # 2, which sprouted a few days later, grew 54 cm, which surpassed roommate Watermelon, who keeps them company on the Farm. Along with the height, there are a lot of leaves throughout the plant, but this time I'm not sure if I would do defoliation. The plants normally look healthy and satisfied, they did not reflect as much as on Watermelon, that they were harmed by too many nutrients. They’re obviously a little more resistant to that. Except for the yellowish tips of the leaves, which I believe is genetics, everything else seems fine. The flowers started to form, so I have new motives to photograph. At the beginning of the week, I also changed the light regime to 20 hours of the day and 4 hours of the night. I water every two to three days, when each plant gets about 2 liters of water. I add food at about every other watering. Sometimes biobizz and sometimes I put Easy Grow or Easy Bloom tablet, depending on the stage the plant is in. p.H. I always adjust the water value to a value between 6.2 and 6.5. Conditions on the Farm are more or less satisfactory, the temperature is about 25 degrees while the humidity is slightly lower than satisfactory, varying between 40% and 50%. Here’s a brief overview of the past week. 18/02/2021 - Day 23. Watering. I adjusted the water to 6.3 p.H with Plagron’s Lemon Kick and added 1.5 mL / lit CalMg preventively. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 41% humidity. 20/02/2021 - Day 25. Watering. I regulated the water to 6.4 p.H, I added 1ml / lit CalMg and BioBizz as scheduled for the first week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.4 degrees and 43% humidity. 22/02/2021 - Day 27. Watering. This time I watered only with water which I regulated p.H at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.6 degrees and 40% humidity. 23/02/2021 - Day 28. Photography and height measurement.
