Hi all👨‍🌾👋 Welcome to my another week update Hope everyone keeping well 🧑‍🌾 Week 6 Mar 8 - Mar 14 It was another easy and exciting week. Everything going absolutely great. Both girls stretched nicely despite selective defoliation on Mar 9. They bounced back almost immediately. Started adjusting mixtures towards removing fish mix completely and replacing with Bio grow. In coming week will adding bio bloom and top max to mixture. There was 2 waterings of 3ltr on Mar 9 + last foliar feeding and second on Mar 13 and it was first large feeding 6 ltr beetwen both. Surprisingly only a few drops of runoff. Watering in stages of approx. 500ml every 20-30min. Decided to not install a scrog this time as want to have opportunity to apply more old school methods of training and to be able to remove/rotate girls easily. Let's see if this will pay me off. Week 6 Veg Their last full week in the veg tent before they'll be flipped to flower. The Surf Purp siblings are looking very healthy and showing different traits and structures allround. I'm thinking #3 could be a man as it's growing quicker and taller than the rest. It's not a reliable way of sexing, and could still be female so until we see it's flowers, we won't know for sure. Remo Micro and Grow have been increased, along with MagNifiCal to see how they react. By the end of the week they seem to be in perfect health. I regularly move them around the tent and turn them daily to ensure the entire plant gets an even amount of light, promoting even growth from all of them. This is to ensure each plant keeps a level canopy and doesn't start to lean to one side when growing towards the light. Looking forward to getting these in flower! The trim was easy and the buds are super fat full of resin✂️🤩 The smell is delicious🤤

the waterworks come covered in some olie residue and i only did a few rinses. I think it kept the ph high for some time and i did a few more water cycles after complete setup. Everytime getting rit of more oil film. I like the bucketd rinsed the leca pepples in high ph tap water and again it took me some time to get ph down but this time no oil residue :) After a few days i felt i got ph under control so started the canna nutes schedule.

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. Thank you @MarsHydroLED for letting me try it, it is a dream of a light. I compared it to my old light again and PAR values are not even in the same ballpark. Hello, Day 29 of flower today. She is packing on some trichomes since 2-3 days and it’s getting more everyday. Buds are growing and starting to look like they should. The smell is not that strong but if you walk by the opened window you smell that there is a weed plant somewhere near. The trichomes are sticky and the smell is hyping me up like crazy. Weight was okay today, I will water again tomorrow with 6-7 Liters without added nutrients. Some bottom leaves are starting to get a yellowish colour which kinda concerns me, but I’m far away from panicking. Estimated flower time are 50-60. my light is running on 85% which is 225W / 35cm distance to the canopy. I added those extra 5% power yesterday and we will see if she likes it. Maybe I will buy additional phosphor booster, but I have to gather some information first. I the next couple days I will also get a hygrometer to check my humidity. I can’t change it but I think it’s good to know for the next grow. The temperature is measured via an infrared thermometer, leaf temp was 18°C night and 23°C day temp. the weather is just wonderful at the moment. i'm happy to be growing them so early in the year. they took to the topping really well, and they also coped well with the breakage last week and have healed.

2/1 - 2/4: Flushed both MPP's on Monday and put the skinnier one in the dark Thursday night. Tomorrow is the end of the line for her. I'll probably let the big fat one go til next weekend. Watered the fat girl Friday. 2/8: The little one is hanging to dry now, and the bigger one is just getting water + liquid soil
