I was timid and had a lot of personal obligations preventing me from staying in the garden as much as I would have liked. Its a grower! and stretches so much in early flower. Stay on top of her but I think she may make some amazing bud based on what I did have drying recently. I wish I didnt mess up the timing but I just couldnt have the second wave be held up by these mistakes and felt it best to let it go

Day 21. I post one day earlier, but its a huge week for them. Cleared space, install chicken wire fence. Added worm castings, epsom salt, mono potassium, calcium nitrate , Great White, Biosys and hope they will be ok. Next visit in two weeks. Root system was good, couple girls had mini root bound on the bottom, so timing was perfect ! Sherbet was strongest, purple haze weakest, both Apples were ok too. Happy Growing !!!

Hello. This is the test harvest for Lemnesia Northern. I'm happy with my first cross. It's not really strong but it strong enough for the first cross. Something I can build on to make better and stronger with future crosses. These plants were mold and pest resistant. I had mold and pest in the garden 20 feet away but none in here.😃 Plant #1 Wet Weight - 2062 g Dry Weight - 339 g Seeded buds - 26 g crossed with male Kosher Haze #3 Seeds - 10.5 g Plant #2 Wet Weight - 2364 g Dry Weight - 342 g Seeded buds - 14 g Seeds - 5 g Plant #3 Wet Weight - 2153 g Dry Weight - 305 g Seeded buds - 23.5 g Seeds - 5 g Plant #4 Wet Weight - 2531 g Dry Weight - 374 g Seeded buds - 24 g Seeds - 2 g I'm guessing the THC at about 16% to 20%, it can get me pretty stoned. The taste and smell is lemon/citrus with some hashy notes. Plant #3 has a sort of tuna smell to it. Umme, the plant that grew in the middle, also did well, and had her own diary. Next year I have Buford OG, 12 regular seeds by Rare Dankness to make more seeds with. I'm thinking of crossing this with my Dos Si Dos #33 and Sweet Zenzation and of course with the new Lemnesia Kosher. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. All is well so far, starting late on day 4 of flower. I did a 21 day Veg from clone in a diy res. I ran the Roswell already from seed in coco so moms of this is in the Veg space and I’ll take a cut of the Cherry in a few days because I got this cut from the growmie so I need a mom!

Día 36. Estamos en 6ta semana. Los esquejes se atrasaron debido a que han sido días muy fríos y no he logrado enraizarlos. Decidí poner el extractor de aire junto con la bomba de aire, así solamente se prende 15 minutos cada hora. Así estoy logrando temperaturas mayores a 24°C en el indoor y así voy a lograr el enraizado. La planta ya tiene un tamaño que ocupa casi todo el indoor. Pero lo importante es que la voy guiando y ya estoy proyectando como va a ir cada rama. El tamaño va a exceder lo que esperaba, pero aún así creo que si logro lo que tengo en mente, voy a sacar muy buenos resultados. Igual no me voy a arriesgar demasiado, así que si contando 10 días desde ahora, no logro que los esquejes enraicen, voy a pasar la madre a floración sola. Cómo pueden ver, las ramas están bastante gruesas, y el la ramificaciones van ganando su lugar cada una. Las raíces son demasiado grandes, aunque sé que voy a poder poner la planta en el sistema de arriba igual, aunque me voy a tener que ayudar de algo para meterlas. Es importante no utilizar las manos, ya que se pueden transmitir muchos hongos. Voy a seguir actualizando e ir viendo que pasa. Pero ya estamos en los últimos días de crecimiento, haya o no esquejes. Incluso puede que ya pase la planta al indoor de arriba para darle mayor libertad de crecimiento. Esto me va a servir para tlmar en cuenta en la próxima camada que se vendrá. La idea de esto es hacer las cosas rápido, y no en gran tamaño. Pero siendo que ya estoy en el baile, no me queda otra que bailar. Día 40 Los esquejes no estaban enraizando, así que decidí cambiarlos de lugar y los puse arriba de la luz, donde les da calor y luz tenue. Espero que ahora si agarren. Y hoy fue el gran día, pasé la planta madre al módulo de arriba. Pero lo voy a dejar una semana más creciendo. De esa forma veo si los esquejes llegan a agarrar a tiempo. Y además tuve un problema en el trasplante. Primero que la planta se hizo más grande que lo esperado, y la raíz también. Cuando la pasé, hubo contacto de la raiz con prácticamente todo lo que había cerca. Sumado a que se enredó en el oxigenador, así que quedó una pidra difusora en la raíz. Dado el alto riesgo de haberla contaminado con algún hongo, le puse una solución de agua con agua oxigenada, recirculando continuamente, para lavar las raices y de paso bajar el stress de teansplante. Mañana veremos cómo arranca el día. En el aprendizaje me llevo que en la madre, es mejor hacer un corte en el primer nudo, o dejar las ramas del segundo y quitar las del primero. Y así que queden sólo dos ramas, para luego dejar a los esquejes en el medio. Eso planeo hacer con la próxima variedad. Entre tanto ahora sólo me preocupa que la raíz no se haya contaminado en el traspaso. Ya en 8 días estaré pasando a floración si no hay esquejes. Si llegan a agarrar, habrá que dar unos días de crecimiento hasta que alcancen a la madre en altura. Pero ya está todo en definición. Ahora sólo queda esperar y seguir guiando a la planta. Ya tengo ganas de poner la próxima, pero falta bastante para eso. Tengo 10 semanas de flora, así que recién en 5 semanas voy a poner la nueva madre.

I am so glad I decided to do some low stress training!! After that one feeding at the end of last week the plant truly bounced back and showed no more signs of deficiency problems.. 😅 Because I started some early LST I began to see the much smaller nodes develop over this week and it started to give me hope lmao. There was not only a difference in the vibrancy of the green leaves but there was also a difference in the texture of the leaves as well! The ones that were damaged were thicker and more rough, while the new healthy leaves were much softer! For now I will leave some of the damaged leaves on because I don't want to strip her too early but periodically over the next couple of weeks I am going to start pruning and training her more (especially since she's a keeper). I also went ahead and started giving my girl a foliar spray feeding of diluted garlic & onion peel water which I plan on continuing with while in veg.

week 5 - 1/2-1/9 1/4 heavy defoliation

June 14th not a ton happened, I believe I watered them (It seems I am having to water every second day now as they start to get bigger) June 15th - still just growing away. I went out and got some different ducting so I could pull air from outside better with the ac infinity inline fan. I also received some insulated ducting from Amazon that is a hell of a lot better then the standard stuff I am using. I also grabbed a new 9 inch fan (still deciding the best place to place it, for now it is beside the door). I grabbed a larger oscillating fan aswell to keep air moving around. June 16th - decided I would do some lst and then I gave them some water. I have been feeding nutrients every second day. I have also on every 3rd watering been doing just ph’d water. The humidity seems to drop quite a bit within 10-20 seconds of the door being open hence the lower reading. I am sitting roughly at 45-55 depending on time of day. As for temperatures I’m still struggling to keep it down during the warm days and it seems the highest I am getting is around 29 since switching the lights off from 11am - 5pm June 17th - the girls seemed to have perked back up after yesterday’s lst. Not much new today just some growth! June 18th - Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures today. But not to much difference. I did feed the girls with some nutrient water today. June 19th - I again forgot to take pictures. They are just growing away and doing there thing. I did check for growth from the topped portion on the bigger plant, no growth from one of the 2 tops. So I indeed cut it to low… I won’t be doing that again haha. June 20th - finally grabbed something to deal with the heat since it is getting hotter everyday. I picked up a 10,000 btu air conditioner. I have it set at 23 degrees. I also moved the plants around and re-arranged some stuff. I took the inline fan that was taking air out and instead the ac output is going to there. I ended up having to make the vent into a 6inch vent on the trailer. Temps stay around 23 now. Humidity is still 45-55 depending on time of day.
